[00:00:04] Speaker A: Yo, it's effective immediately. I'm DJ Head.
I guess this is Jackal. Jackal Views.
Welcome. Welcome to another week of effective immediately.
Thank you for tuning in each and every week. We are on our way. Make sure you hit that subscribe button for obvious reasons, because, you know, we got a lot of going on up here. Oh, I'm not supposed to curse.
Speaking of which.
Speaking of which, we are doing something special if you would like to participate.
We did make an agreement with the listeners and you who watch our show that Gina views and I would not curse.
So we have something very special on deck for you in, I guess, to celebrate or commemorate our penalty for not cursing.
Would you like to fill the viewers in Gina Views?
No.
Okay, so I will then. So Gina and I will not be cursed or we will attempt to not curse for this episode. We got all of your comments. We got all of the. The tweets and the Instagram comments and YouTube. We looked at everything to chat.
And instead of just doing something simple like sending you a T shirt, man.
Man, we have. We got hooked up. Okay? I happened to go to Vegas one year, and I saw one of the most incredible shows I've ever seen in my life.
I went to Vegas and I saw the Jabberwockies perform.
So I went to go see.
I went to go see. It is October, and we don't get to that because October is supposed to be.
October is supposed to be celebratory for most people because their birthdays are around this time. But it got really, really dark really fast. So, you know, hence we have the things.
But I went to go see one of the most incredible shows I've ever seen in my life, and I saw the Jabberwockies perform.
And so our friends.
I don't want to, like, put our people out there because people hitting you over tickets. You know what I'm saying? But our friends with the Jabberwockies and the MGM and Frequency are hooking us up to hook you up. So if you are one of the first three people to comment times the first three timestamps in which either Gina or myself curses, then we will be hooking you up to go see the Jabberwockies in Vegas. We are not covering your transportation. Okay? You will get two tickets.
I just wanna be clear. You will get two tickets per person. You get two. So there's six tickets total. So one person gets to make that clear to go see the Jabberwockies. The Frequency show is going down. The grand opening is happening October 25 and 201526 at the MGM grand in Las Vegas. They just read up that contract. You hear what I'm saying? So if you want to go see the grand opening of the Jabby Walkies, be one of the first three people to comment the first three timestamps of either myself or Gina views using profanity on this episode. And then we will be hooking you up. Now, I.
I'm not a. I can't dance.
But if you can dance, I do wanna point out you are not a part of the show. This ain't no meet and greet. This ain't none of that shit.
[00:03:46] Speaker B: What if they go on the stage? Like what Lil Mama did? What?
[00:03:48] Speaker A: Lil Mama walked on stage.
Hey, you know what's fucked up is she got like a platinum record or something like that. But that's her legacy, is walking on stage with no invite. That's messed up.
[00:04:01] Speaker B: That's messed up.
[00:04:02] Speaker A: But, yeah, if you wanna do that, I think you should tap in with us. It's very special and I appreciate that. Again, the grand opening weekend, Las Vegas, Nevada. The frequency. And at MGM Grand, October 25th or the 26th, you need to comment the timestamp and the curse word that we use. And so that way our producer can find it easily or whatnot. And then. Yeah, and then we'll be reaching out to you, I guess, and make sure your emails are on your YouTube page, so that way it's not hard to find you. Because don't make it hard. Don't do that.
[00:04:35] Speaker B: Cause we ain't gonna look.
[00:04:36] Speaker A: Cause I'm not finna. Yeah, we ain't doing all that. So if your Instagram or something is not the same as your YouTube or you, we can't just pull you up. It's gonna be quiet for you. But, yeah, that's the penalty for us cursing. That's what we worked out. So shout out to our friends and shout out to the Jabberwockies. Gina. Views.
You're back.
[00:04:58] Speaker B: I'm back.
[00:04:59] Speaker A: I'm back. Where'd you go?
[00:05:03] Speaker B: I was on a trip.
[00:05:05] Speaker A: Yeah, I can see.
Well, just get to the elephant in the room, because it is October, and, you know, October tends to belong to certain people.
They took ownership of October's very own. People would prosper in these months.
But there was a diss record that caused a lot of dismay, and now the dismay has been dismissed.
[00:05:43] Speaker B: Mm.
[00:05:45] Speaker A: So I would love to know your thoughts on this week in Hip Hop.
[00:05:51] Speaker B: You almost made me curse.
[00:05:54] Speaker A: We gonna try to get through it without cursing. But I be damned if this ain't crazy.
[00:05:58] Speaker B: Wait, so what are we gonna do, though?
[00:06:00] Speaker A: If we don't, then they don't get nothing.
[00:06:02] Speaker B: Cause there's a cuss word that you already used.
[00:06:04] Speaker A: No, damn is not a curse word.
[00:06:06] Speaker B: No, you cussed within, like, the first five minutes.
[00:06:09] Speaker A: Oh, well, go back and find that one.
Cause I don't remember.
I do not remember cursing. That's how bad it is.
[00:06:16] Speaker B: But that. So that one don't count.
[00:06:17] Speaker A: That one count.
[00:06:18] Speaker B: That one count it.
[00:06:19] Speaker A: Count after I finish telling them what the rule is.
[00:06:21] Speaker B: Okay, what day is it?
[00:06:24] Speaker A: Today is Friday.
[00:06:24] Speaker B: Cause I wasn't here when we was talking about it on the 25th. So next week they get a chance. Next week, I'm gonna make it real hard for them.
[00:06:32] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:06:33] Speaker B: I want to make it real hard.
[00:06:34] Speaker A: Your mama be proud.
[00:06:35] Speaker B: My mama just called me before I got in here.
[00:06:38] Speaker A: For real.
[00:06:38] Speaker B: Don't forget.
[00:06:39] Speaker A: Don't forget.
[00:06:40] Speaker B: No cussing.
[00:06:41] Speaker A: Your mom came to the live show.
[00:06:42] Speaker B: My mama gonna ask for them tickets.
[00:06:46] Speaker A: No mama views.
These ain't for you. These for the listeners. Yeah. Nah.
[00:06:53] Speaker B: I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't care.
Like, I never thought it was a good lawsuit anyway.
I was actually surprised. I guess I lacked knowledge on legal, like, just the process of legal things. Because I was even surprised at how far it got.
[00:07:12] Speaker A: Me, too.
[00:07:13] Speaker B: So I thought that it was just gonna be, like, the first initial.
What's the first initial stage of a lawsuit?
[00:07:19] Speaker A: Discovery?
[00:07:20] Speaker B: No, it's something before discovery, like, being served, I guess, around that stage. Okay, the, like, first initial.
[00:07:29] Speaker A: Well, what happens is, like, if I sue you, I gotta serve you with a lawsuit, and then we go through discovery. Meaning, like, I disclose shit. You disclose shit. I. I petition for you to give me paperwork.
[00:07:40] Speaker B: Yeah, see, that's too far.
[00:07:41] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:07:41] Speaker B: I'm thinking the initial, even request.
[00:07:44] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Gotcha.
[00:07:45] Speaker B: Would be, like, not lie. This is crazy, we not doing this. You know, I thought, like, I never thought that it was gonna go this far. So I'm not surprised that it was dismissed. I'm surprised at how far it got.
[00:07:57] Speaker A: I feel that.
[00:07:59] Speaker B: But hopefully, you know, we can move on. I'm tired of talking about Kendrick and Drake as a unit. I'm sick of both of them together. Like, I'm just sick. I hate that every time I tweet something good about one of them, they fan base come dragging me. I can't say nothing these days.
But let's just get back to. Let's just get back to the rap.
[00:08:18] Speaker A: Get back to the rap.
[00:08:19] Speaker B: Unless you gonna drop the rest of them diss tracks.
[00:08:22] Speaker A: Then you with it.
[00:08:23] Speaker B: Oh, I'm with it.
I'm loud, I'm on his chair and everything. But if we not gonna get no diss tracks.
[00:08:29] Speaker A: But. But. Okay, now to go back, though. We felt that way about jt. She dropped the diss tracks and now we like. Nah, we just get back on the timeline.
[00:08:39] Speaker B: I'm talking to another type of pen.
[00:08:42] Speaker A: Understood.
[00:08:43] Speaker B: That's who I'm talking to.
[00:08:44] Speaker A: Understood.
[00:08:45] Speaker B: Different type of pen. I don't want nobody arguing that's gonna say, well, where you at? I wanna get down and all of that. Cause that's all that. That the girl stuff is gonna get to. Girl stuff get too personal. Yeah, but the guys that got personal. It got personal. But nobody said pull up.
[00:09:01] Speaker A: Yeah, I can see that.
[00:09:03] Speaker B: You know, so.
[00:09:04] Speaker A: Well, people have been.
I mean, all day in your mentions and my mentions, they wanna know what we think.
That's what. That's what Gina views thinks.
Me, personally, I think it's. I think it's comical because I didn't think it was gonna get this far. And then once it did get this far, I was like, oh, okay, this is interesting.
Like, I. To be completely honest, I don't even know.
I didn't even know that you could do this.
[00:09:33] Speaker B: That's what I'm saying. This feel like to me. This. This feels like to me with the Red Bull lawsuit.
[00:09:39] Speaker A: Which one?
[00:09:40] Speaker B: The Red Bull gives you wings lawsuit. Oh, so even right now, there's somebody. I don't know how far it goes, but this Guy is suing LeBron because he thought that LeBron was going to announce his retirement. So he purchased two tickets, roughly about $400 each, and now he wants to sue him because the value of the tickets have gone down since LeBron said that there was going to be an announcement coming.
So, like, even something like that.
[00:10:08] Speaker A: That shit's stupid.
[00:10:09] Speaker B: Like how I. Well, I'm not understanding with certain lawsuits is how is the legal team not like, yeah, we not doing this?
[00:10:16] Speaker A: Well, the thing. The thing about the United States of America is you can sue anybody for anything, which is a problem. Like, you know what I mean? Like, if I say, hey, Gina. Like, it's like, oh, I yelled at you. That's verbal assault. It's like, bro, like, it's just. It's all stupid.
The problem is, though, with this specific case is that semantics is a thing which you always tell me that I'm, like, doing too much, but One.
The lawsuit is claiming defamation of character or defamation. It's a defamation lawsuit. In the song. Right.
He never called him that word. He never called him that word. He said he made reference to it, but he never called him that. So that's semantics. That's why it was stupid.
[00:10:58] Speaker B: Shut up. You almost made me cuss.
[00:11:00] Speaker A: The second part of why it's stupid.
[00:11:03] Speaker B: I know you not thinking you about to get that off.
[00:11:06] Speaker A: It's the truth.
The second part that's stupid is he's suing the record label but not the person.
That's crazy. Like, if you do something wrong to me, I sue the organization above you, but you never sue the actual person. That's stupid too. So that's my take on it.
[00:11:27] Speaker B: I have nothing for you. I don't even gotta rebuttal back. Cause I'm tired of talking about them.
[00:11:32] Speaker A: Perfect. Now that leads me to the next portion of this conversation, which is my timeline has been in flames.
I mean, the last year and a half. I'm not even talking about because it's lost. I'm talking about for a year and a half. In general, my timeline has not belonged to me. And I have never in my life. Gina Views used the block button. This much. I'm talking about in the entirety of my life. I've used the block button more in the last year and a half than I have in my whole life.
[00:12:01] Speaker B: My block button. Like an automatic.
[00:12:04] Speaker A: You got a switch on your block?
[00:12:05] Speaker B: Yeah. Ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, ta. Say something stupid. Tat.
Disrespect me. Ta.
[00:12:10] Speaker A: Okay, what's the okay before?
[00:12:12] Speaker B: Call me on my name. Tat. Tat, tat, tat. And I'm reporting they pages and getting them tooken.
[00:12:18] Speaker A: What? What's the simple. What's this? Like, what's the smallest thing you block somebody for? Like what's.
[00:12:24] Speaker B: Somebody commented on one of our posts and said this one. Listen to B words.
[00:12:29] Speaker A: Blocked.
[00:12:30] Speaker B: Yeah.
You'll never gotta hear me again.
[00:12:37] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:12:38] Speaker B: Oh, nah. Somebody. Somebody said.
Somebody said that we was getting it cracking.
[00:12:45] Speaker A: Oh, they said me and you.
[00:12:46] Speaker B: Yeah. Blocked them. You talking about I'm kissing my cousin.
[00:12:51] Speaker A: Yeah, I can see that.
[00:12:52] Speaker B: How many people you got blocked?
[00:12:53] Speaker A: Let me look at. How do I.
[00:12:55] Speaker B: Wait, what platform you on?
[00:12:56] Speaker A: Let's go to X first.
[00:12:57] Speaker B: All right. I don't got that many people blocked on X.
[00:13:00] Speaker A: How do I look at the blocked on X?
[00:13:02] Speaker B: All right, go to settings and privacy.
[00:13:07] Speaker A: Okay, Got it.
[00:13:09] Speaker B: I think Security.
Nope, go back. Go back to settings.
[00:13:14] Speaker A: Privacy.
No, how do you. Oh, yeah, Privacy, Security and settings. Go to privacy. And then it says mute and block.
[00:13:22] Speaker B: I don't even know how to get back to the grave.
I just blocked you and you gone. I done forgot about you.
[00:13:27] Speaker A: So look, look, I'm gonna tell you so in the X settings, go to.
[00:13:30] Speaker B: I'm here. All right, how many numbers?
[00:13:32] Speaker A: All right, hold on. Let me go back to my privacy.
Privacy and settings. Mute and block. It's blocked accounts. I'm at 158.
[00:13:41] Speaker B: Oh, you beat me. I did 125.
[00:13:44] Speaker A: Damn. I probably just did that today, though.
[00:13:47] Speaker B: How many people you got muted?
[00:13:49] Speaker A: Muted? 3.
How many you got muted?
[00:13:52] Speaker B: I'm so cold with it.
I got four people muted, but I also got them blocked.
[00:14:05] Speaker A: Hey, look, hey. This page, hey, that's like. That's like using a. That's like using a morning after pill and a condom.
[00:14:10] Speaker B: Look, hey, you can never be too sure.
I block Lucifer tweets. Cause why has you even got an account like that?
Like, I don't play. I don't play. I don't play about God.
[00:14:23] Speaker A: Okay?
[00:14:24] Speaker B: So look, I don't play about God. Lucifer tweeted. He probably never tweeted me, but he came across my timeline blocked.
[00:14:29] Speaker A: You got him muted and blocked. So remember the person that I had blocked that I unblocked? Yes, I had unmuted and blocked too.
[00:14:42] Speaker B: He's definitely watching.
[00:14:43] Speaker A: I didn't realize I had the nigga.
[00:14:44] Speaker B: Shout out to bro.
[00:14:45] Speaker A: I didn't realize I had the nigga muted and blocked. It ain't personal. I just don't even wanna see niggas content.
[00:14:50] Speaker B: All right, let's go to Instagram.
[00:14:52] Speaker A: Okay, Instagram.
Wait, what's your number? 125.
[00:14:56] Speaker B: Yeah, on Twitter.
[00:14:57] Speaker A: On Twitter. Okay, so now how the fuck do I get Twitter?
[00:15:01] Speaker B: Instagram. He gonna give him them tickets, ain't he? No.
Go to set pressure.
[00:15:07] Speaker A: Three lines already.
[00:15:11] Speaker B: How much time we in there?
[00:15:12] Speaker A: Yeah, okay. Blocked. I see it. What's your number?
[00:15:22] Speaker B: 230.
[00:15:23] Speaker A: Dang.
[00:15:24] Speaker B: What you got?
[00:15:24] Speaker A: I'm close. 194.
I didn't realize I. I didn't realize we was like that close.
[00:15:30] Speaker B: Yo, on Instagram, I'm a fool with it.
I block for anything on Instagram.
[00:15:37] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:15:37] Speaker B: On Instagram, people be sending me they private parts.
[00:15:41] Speaker A: For real?
[00:15:41] Speaker B: Yeah, people send me they private parts, bro.
[00:15:44] Speaker A: Don't do that to women, bro. That's. Not only is that assault, but you end up in group chats.
[00:15:50] Speaker B: I'm not sending that meat nowhere. But to meta. I'm reporting it to meta. And I'm getting your page took It. I don't care who it is. You call me on my name. I say, this bullying harassment.
You say I'm stupid. Whatever I say, this is hate speech, Zuckerberg.
[00:16:04] Speaker A: Getting them D pics, ain't it? Zuckerberg?
[00:16:09] Speaker B: You comment too many times on my page. I say, this man harassing me.
[00:16:14] Speaker A: So if. Okay, so what? Have you ever blocked somebody and then unblocked them?
[00:16:19] Speaker B: For what?
[00:16:21] Speaker A: Like, you realize, like, yeah, that wasn't so bad. Like, you blocked them in a moment, in the heat of the moment, and then went back to unblock them.
[00:16:27] Speaker B: Unless you hit raw, that's the only time I'm going back and unblocking.
I don't unblock people. Like, the people. These people that. These two. I don't know them 230 people.
[00:16:40] Speaker A: Okay? These are strangers.
[00:16:41] Speaker B: Them strangers. But I do like. Like, I'm the type if you bring drama in my life, like, I've blocked one of my parents before. They watch it.
[00:16:48] Speaker A: You did.
[00:16:49] Speaker B: So I ain't gonna tell them which one. Yeah, yeah, they've been blocked.
They've been blocked before.
[00:16:56] Speaker A: So. Okay, so transitioning out of social media for people who have your number, is it the same principle?
[00:17:02] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:17:03] Speaker A: So it's just across the board, I block.
[00:17:05] Speaker B: You can't send me too many messages before you. Like, if I open my phone to too many messages from somebody, I'm blocking you because you're not gonna come over. I'm so serious about my piece yesterday. I was so high.
I was so high yesterday, and I woke up to so many messages from multiple people, though. It was, like, a lot of messages, and I'm like, why do I. Oh, you send me a voicemail block.
If I didn't get the notification from the missed call, what make you think I'm gonna get the notification about the voicemail?
[00:17:37] Speaker A: But what is the logic in blocking them?
[00:17:40] Speaker B: Cause stop calling me.
What's the logic in sending me a voicemail?
[00:17:44] Speaker A: Do you go back and unblock if you hit raw?
That's not applicable to everybody.
[00:17:51] Speaker B: It don't have to be. That's my phone, you know? It's not applicable to everybody. That T Mobile bill.
Hey, man, listen, that auto pay come out of my Wells Fargo account every month.
[00:18:02] Speaker A: I feel you. I just. All right, I get it. I get it.
[00:18:05] Speaker B: And I like when somebody think they doing something and they texting me. I block me a bubble.
I see a bubble blocked.
[00:18:14] Speaker A: That's so, like, insane.
[00:18:18] Speaker B: You can't tell me how to declutter my mental.
[00:18:21] Speaker A: I'm not telling you how to Declare your mental. I'm just saying, like, mid bubble is crazy. Yeah, they could have been sending a Zel through or something.
[00:18:28] Speaker B: Now if we arguing though, if you ain't sent to Zell before, you ain't sending one.
If you were sending. If this is a message that I need, God gonna have my back and make sure I receive it through some.
[00:18:41] Speaker A: Way, shape or form.
[00:18:43] Speaker B: Some way, shape or form.
[00:18:44] Speaker A: You know why that. You know why that's funny as hell. And that's some cap ass shit that you just said. Because Terris used to say that to niggas. Terrence Martin, I'm blasting you, bro. We used to go places and he'd be like. Be like, man, Terris, we need to work. And he'd be like, man, when God say it's time for us to work, yeah, we gonna work. And then he spin off. But what you supposed to do with that? You can't even say nothing.
[00:19:03] Speaker B: Let me tell you something. And nay is my witness.
Nay is my witness. It's a man I was dating in a recent.
Not recent, like two years ago maybe. When was that? That was like 20.
The one that came to my dream.
So I had this man blocked. He could not get through. So I'm the type though. No, no, no, no. I didn't even block him. I didn't even block him. I deleted his number.
[00:19:27] Speaker A: Deleted his number.
[00:19:28] Speaker B: I deleted him from everything though. Like from every single thing. Like, it was no communication, no nothing. I got rid of this man. Every picture, every thread from both phones, everything gone.
Gone.
He came to me in a dream.
[00:19:45] Speaker A: He pulled up.
[00:19:46] Speaker B: He pulled up in a dream.
[00:19:47] Speaker A: What do you say?
[00:19:48] Speaker B: I'm not gonna talk about all that.
[00:19:50] Speaker A: He was like.
Like he just pop out like a jack in the box.
[00:19:53] Speaker B: So in my dream, you know, I don't play about my dreams. So, you know, I don't want to get all dark. But I've had friends about. I mean, I've had dreams about friends and family members dying before they died. And it actually happened in real life. So in my dream, he was sick. He was really, really, really sick. And I had already been saying before we fell out, I had already been saying, I think something is wrong with him. But I couldn't quite put my finger on it. But you know me, I'll be looking at people eye bubs. I watch your motor skills and, you know, like, see how you moving and stuff. So I had already been thinking that before we fell out, we had not talked for what, like a year? I think it was like a Year or something.
He came to me in a dream.
So I looked everywhere for this man number.
I couldn't find it nowhere.
He came to me in another dream.
[00:20:40] Speaker A: Aight, now that's stalking.
[00:20:42] Speaker B: That's what I said.
That's what I said. But now it said no.
[00:20:46] Speaker A: Now hold on, low key. You could probably sue a nigga for stalking his dreams in California. All right, now I'm just saying, you can sue for shit.
[00:20:53] Speaker B: Freddy Krueger never went down.
[00:20:55] Speaker A: Okay, continue.
[00:20:56] Speaker B: So Salisbury said you blocked him so much physically that he had to come communicate with you spiritually and encouraged me to reach out to him. Now they hate him.
She was like, whatever, you know? But yeah, that man came to me in a dream. And I did reach out to him. So I had to find his this. How cold I was with it. I'm looking through my cash apps. Cause he was like, sending me money and stuff. I didn't even know how to find him. I had to Google the area code from where he from to find out which number was his.
[00:21:29] Speaker A: So you googled all the area codes in cash app to figure out.
[00:21:33] Speaker B: No.
[00:21:33] Speaker A: Oh, I get what you're saying. You googled where he was and found out.
[00:21:36] Speaker B: That's what I be talking about.
[00:21:38] Speaker A: I had to figure out what the fuck he was talking about.
[00:21:39] Speaker B: I said it though, so I found it. I reached out to him. Nothing was wrong with him.
[00:21:48] Speaker A: So you did all that for nothing?
[00:21:49] Speaker B: Well, I told him what I thought, and he was just like, oh, okay. Well, you know, I wanted to hear from you, whatever. Anyway, blah, blah, blah. And he ended up apologizing to me for our fallout.
[00:21:59] Speaker A: So you got your.
[00:22:00] Speaker B: Okay, I got my closure.
[00:22:01] Speaker A: You got your closure.
[00:22:02] Speaker B: I got my closure.
[00:22:03] Speaker A: He didn't get a chance to, like, shoot his shot back.
[00:22:08] Speaker B: Nah. Once I like, once I get over you, it ain't even no point of coming back.
Like, if God already separated us, why am I looking for the opportunity for you to humiliate me again? You already wasted my time the first time.
Why would I allow you back in my life to waste it again?
[00:22:26] Speaker A: What if y' all learned something that you needed to learn and then that would help you?
[00:22:30] Speaker B: I learned that you not for me.
Okay? People are people come into your life and they serve one purpose. They either a blessing or a lesson.
And if you a lesson, you gotta listen. That's be the problem. That be the problem. We be wanting change. And if we keep dating the same type of people or we keep dating the same person, well, God already said this. Not for you.
[00:22:53] Speaker A: Move on.
[00:22:54] Speaker B: My love, you got the lesson, you got the experience.
Move on.
Cause the wrong mother effer.
The wrong. Almost.
Almost said something.
You almost got that ticket cuz of me.
[00:23:09] Speaker A: Christ.
[00:23:09] Speaker B: Like you almost got that ticket cuz of me. The wrong mother effer can block you from getting the person that you supposed to be with.
You can't be letting people just transfer their demons over to you and stuff.
[00:23:21] Speaker A: So at this time, the doors of effective immediately are open. We will be taking offerings.
Hit them super chats, you know what I'm saying?
You know, we asking 10% of your earnings.
[00:23:35] Speaker B: Ushers. Ushers. Close the door.
Close the door.
[00:23:43] Speaker A: Like somebody just tuning in to this party. What the. What them niggas got going on up there?
[00:23:49] Speaker B: But speaking of verses.
[00:23:50] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:23:51] Speaker B: While we doing Block versus Cash Money versus no Limit is happening at Complex Con this month.
[00:23:57] Speaker A: Shout out to.
[00:23:57] Speaker B: What day is it?
[00:23:58] Speaker A: Shout out to New Orleans.
[00:23:59] Speaker B: 25Th. October 26th.
[00:24:02] Speaker A: 25Th. 26th.
[00:24:04] Speaker B: Why do that date sound so familiar to me?
[00:24:06] Speaker A: Jabberwockies as well.
That's the grand opening of Jabberwockies.
[00:24:12] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, I'm like, that sounds so familiar.
I've heard this date, sir. I've heard this date somewhere.
[00:24:23] Speaker A: Yeah, we haven't.
[00:24:24] Speaker B: Was it in a dream?
[00:24:27] Speaker A: We haven't talked, announced that yet.
[00:24:30] Speaker B: Might as well.
[00:24:32] Speaker A: She's like, yeah, I know that date. Yeah, I know.
[00:24:35] Speaker B: I know you do.
[00:24:35] Speaker A: I know you do.
[00:24:36] Speaker B: I know that date is blocked off on my calendar.
[00:24:41] Speaker A: Stupid.
[00:24:44] Speaker B: I guess we can't talk about it.
[00:24:45] Speaker A: Not yet.
So I want to shout out to New Orleans, Louisiana, because two of the most iconic labels of all time, Cash Money Records, no Limit Records, Big deal, big energy. The problem is I don't think they're equally yoked, but it's going to be historic to see this shit.
[00:25:06] Speaker B: Do you think it's gonna look anything like.
What was that? The.
The Dipset versus the Locks. The Lox.
[00:25:17] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:25:19] Speaker B: Cause the Locks was the Lox was the underdog and they came out shiny facts.
[00:25:24] Speaker A: But also, if I'm being honest with you, though, I think that was more of an equal matchup than this.
When you talking about the records, not like they stage presence, they performance, they unity. Also, Dipset has had their problems over the years. The Locks have never had. They've never broken up Cash Money.
They didn't have. They ups and downs. They, like, that's been public.
No Limit, to my knowledge, has never had, like, public, like beef or falling outs or nothing like that. So it, to me is similar in certain ways. But when you get down to it, it's 20 records.
And based on them records, it's going to be cash money millionaires for the 99 and the 2000 out there.
[00:26:05] Speaker B: All right, all right. We already know what cash money can do, right? Cause I think cash money about the whoop feet.
[00:26:12] Speaker A: Okay?
[00:26:12] Speaker B: Yes, for sure.
[00:26:13] Speaker A: Right.
[00:26:14] Speaker B: But I low key done forgot about a lot of the no Limit hits.
[00:26:19] Speaker A: Yeah, let me pull up.
[00:26:20] Speaker B: And if I'm no Limit, do I bring out my features?
[00:26:23] Speaker A: Like what?
[00:26:24] Speaker B: Like if Silk the Chaga performed. That's cool. Oh, that's Trina's song, huh?
Silk is featured on there. Yes, but that's one of Silk's biggest records facts. Even though that's not his song.
[00:26:34] Speaker A: That's true.
[00:26:35] Speaker B: I'm looking for. That's Filthy Rich. Your name's Silk. That's cool. I'm a silky.
I need to hear that.
[00:26:41] Speaker A: No Limit records.
[00:26:43] Speaker B: I need to hear them.
Shake what you got in them jeans, girl. Grab the wall and shake it like a star Shake what you got in them jeans from the front to the back, girl. You know what I mean? Keisha, Felicia, Tisha, Esha, Gina, Selena, Rhonda, Tanya and Monica.
[00:27:03] Speaker A: Now, hold on.
[00:27:04] Speaker B: I don't even know if none of them names was said on the song.
[00:27:07] Speaker A: Hold on.
It's something I forgot about.
[00:27:10] Speaker B: What?
[00:27:10] Speaker A: Mystical.
Mystical's on no Limit.
[00:27:13] Speaker B: Mystical's in jail.
[00:27:14] Speaker A: But they can still play the records. He ain't gotta perform.
Nah, it ain't gonna happen.
[00:27:19] Speaker B: Nah.
[00:27:19] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:27:20] Speaker B: Cause what. Who like, what we doing?
[00:27:23] Speaker A: Well, then that takes out C Murder. I mean, like.
[00:27:27] Speaker B: I need to hear Ride for my. I Die for My Other Mother.
But Monster P on that song, he is.
[00:27:35] Speaker A: Yeah, you can still get it.
[00:27:36] Speaker B: You can still get that off.
[00:27:37] Speaker A: So you saying if they not there, they can't play the record, bro. Who's performing?
[00:27:41] Speaker B: Who battling?
[00:27:42] Speaker A: I'm not saying. I mean, they all perform. I'm playing that record.
[00:27:46] Speaker B: Okay. All right. All right.
Mystical, what song is it? Shake It Fast.
[00:27:52] Speaker A: Nah, it's gonna probably be Here I Go.
Cause that. Cause those were Pharrell, so. I mean, shake your ass. And I think Danger was after.
[00:28:01] Speaker B: See, but that's not fair. Cause if Mystical on stage, he's performing those.
[00:28:05] Speaker A: You right.
You see, but those aren't no limit records like that.
[00:28:11] Speaker B: No Limit is gonna be losing.
[00:28:12] Speaker A: You could do Here I Go.
And I guess you can get off. You can get off.
[00:28:16] Speaker B: Here I Go is losing to anything. Cash money.
[00:28:21] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. It's gonna be. It's gonna be good.
[00:28:24] Speaker B: And I just found Out Mystical hair was fake.
[00:28:29] Speaker A: Where'd you find that out?
Jason Lee did not post that. Like, what are you talking about?
I didn't know he still had hair.
[00:28:47] Speaker B: I was watching.
I don't know what he looked like right now, but I was watching the Poor Minds interview with Key Glock. Cause we had Key Glock. We got Key Glock coming soon. Well, they seen the phone snatch video, but they was talking about how mystical hair was fake. So when you think about it, he did have it burnt at the tips on the hot boy movie.
[00:29:11] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:29:12] Speaker B: And that's just crazy to me.
But that's just crazy about his hair fake. I feel like when I found out AJ hair was fake.
[00:29:20] Speaker A: AJ who?
[00:29:21] Speaker B: 106 in part.
[00:29:22] Speaker A: His hair is fake.
[00:29:24] Speaker B: Hey, I didn't start that. Go look at the video. It's all over social media. I'm not telling you nothing that I didn't see somebody else post.
[00:29:34] Speaker A: Like, all of it or just, like, the extension.
[00:29:36] Speaker B: I don't know. I'm not about to be starting rumors about my goat.
But.
[00:29:41] Speaker A: What?
[00:29:42] Speaker B: Yes.
So mystical hair fake, too.
[00:29:46] Speaker A: I would gotta ask him. Who we. We gotta ask him. Who? Aj.
[00:29:52] Speaker B: We not asking aj is his hair fake? That's like asking a girl, is her booty real.
[00:29:57] Speaker A: It's not as intrusive.
The ass. The ass is in. In the pants. The hair is right there.
[00:30:03] Speaker B: Yeah, but AJ's identity for years was.
[00:30:08] Speaker A: His braid, his long hair.
[00:30:10] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:30:12] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:30:13] Speaker B: You ain't never asked Sway where his hair go?
[00:30:16] Speaker A: No, that's true. I ain't never. But he also. I don't think he has fake hair, though. He just have a hat on?
[00:30:21] Speaker B: I didn't say that. You said that.
[00:30:22] Speaker A: No, I'm saying he just have a hat on. He don't like.
That's not a thing.
[00:30:27] Speaker B: Have you ever asked him what's under his hat?
[00:30:29] Speaker A: Yeah, I think so. One time.
I'm kind of intrusive. You is rude. I think I'm kind of.
[00:30:34] Speaker B: You are rude.
[00:30:35] Speaker A: I don't know if I. I don't remember what. Where it was. He might have been in New York or something. But, yeah, I be nosy sometimes. I'm like, hey, you know what's going on with that? You know what I mean?
[00:30:44] Speaker B: Like, did you know this Ice Cube hair was fake on all about the Benjamins?
[00:30:50] Speaker A: No.
[00:30:50] Speaker B: Just look it up.
[00:30:52] Speaker A: I don't be paying attention to none of that stuff. That's crazy.
[00:30:55] Speaker B: He seen them knots.
It looks.
[00:30:59] Speaker A: Or not.
Oh, the braids.
Book them.
[00:31:40] Speaker B: Why would you say book?
Why would you say book? Them.
[00:31:44] Speaker A: That's what you say.
[00:31:45] Speaker B: Book them. There you go.
[00:31:47] Speaker A: Book them.
Yeah, I remember that.
But that's a movie, though. That's not the same thing, man.
[00:31:57] Speaker B: What is you talking about?
[00:31:58] Speaker A: Like, wearing a piece for a movie is just like, costume. That's not the same thing.
[00:32:03] Speaker B: You telling me Ice Cube wasn't running around with braids in the 2000s?
[00:32:06] Speaker A: Oh, I don't remember that.
I don't remember that.
[00:32:09] Speaker B: Oh, shoot. Oh, Bookham is crazy.
[00:32:13] Speaker A: That was his name.
[00:32:14] Speaker B: Book Em is crazy.
[00:32:16] Speaker A: Okay, okay, just be. Just hear me out real quick. Could you ever deal with a man?
[00:32:23] Speaker B: No.
[00:32:28] Speaker A: What if he just. It wasn't a full piece. It was just like.
[00:32:31] Speaker B: No.
[00:32:32] Speaker A: Okay, so no. No nothing, bro.
[00:32:36] Speaker B: This my thing about it.
Hurry up before you make nae mad.
[00:32:43] Speaker A: Go sit down.
[00:32:43] Speaker B: Hurry up.
[00:32:44] Speaker A: Go over here and sit down.
Ah, damn.
[00:32:48] Speaker B: She was trying to get you to come here while he talking. So you can walk behind me and I'll hit the camera.
[00:32:53] Speaker A: Yeah.
No, no, no. Okay. I don't. Cause obviously, you know, I'm follically challenged.
[00:33:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:33:02] Speaker A: What's the chalk thing? What is that?
[00:33:05] Speaker B: I've never got a haircut. I don't know. You would know better than me.
[00:33:08] Speaker A: No, I wouldn't, bro.
[00:33:09] Speaker B: You told me you had a barber.
[00:33:11] Speaker A: Yeah, like, eight years ago.
[00:33:14] Speaker B: I've never had a barber.
[00:33:19] Speaker A: All right, no prosthetic hair then.
Is there anything that you could deal with from a man that's not like that? He got done like, you know, like my homegirl fuck with a nigga that I don't care. So you, big cousin, he get his eyebrows done?
[00:33:36] Speaker B: What?
[00:33:36] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:33:38] Speaker B: Like wax?
[00:33:39] Speaker A: Nah, I think. What's the shit where they take the yarn?
[00:33:42] Speaker B: Oh, thread. Yeah, he got a hairy face or something.
[00:33:45] Speaker A: I don't know. She said he get his eyebrows.
[00:33:48] Speaker B: Nah.
[00:33:48] Speaker A: No, you was about.
[00:33:49] Speaker B: You trying to give me the cuz. I already know the setup. You ain't got no homegirl. You ain't got no homegirl that got home.
[00:33:54] Speaker A: Yes, I do.
[00:33:55] Speaker B: No, you do.
[00:33:55] Speaker A: You know her, too.
She like beautiful niggas.
She like her niggas beautiful.
[00:34:05] Speaker B: Look, that's the thing about.
That's the thing about.
That's the thing about getting your eyebrows waxed is they make you look, like, beautiful.
It adds some type of, like, beautiful. It adds some like, contour to your face.
[00:34:24] Speaker A: Okay?
[00:34:25] Speaker B: It adds something to your face. So I can't. I can't look my man in the eye with waxed eyebrows or threaded or shaved or plucked or anything unless he got a unibrow.
[00:34:38] Speaker A: Oh, you don't fuck with the Anthony Davis.
[00:34:41] Speaker B: No, I'm saying that would be my only exception.
[00:34:43] Speaker A: Oh, that'd be your exception if you did your unibrow. Wow. So if he had hair right here, you would let him go get it threaded out?
[00:34:48] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:34:49] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:34:49] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:34:50] Speaker A: But don't shape it.
[00:34:52] Speaker B: No. Cause why? You a man.
[00:34:54] Speaker A: I understand that, but what I'm saying is you still need a clean line.
[00:34:59] Speaker B: No, you just wax it right down, straight down. You don't come in shape up, under or on top. You don't arch.
[00:35:05] Speaker A: Just that strip. Boom. Nah, that's crazy.
[00:35:07] Speaker B: Nah.
[00:35:08] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:35:08] Speaker B: I'm barely even. I don't even like the Mel Bl.
[00:35:13] Speaker A: The male Bl.
[00:35:14] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:35:15] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, the male BBl. The Drizzy shit.
[00:35:20] Speaker B: Whoa.
What?
[00:35:22] Speaker A: That's the song. It's called BBL Drizzy. He put the song out.
I'm not even debating why you saying it. Why you looking at me like I'm crazy? Like.
Anyway, Shout out to Ice Cube.
[00:35:38] Speaker B: What's your shout out to Ice Cube.
[00:35:41] Speaker A: Is great book, Em.
[00:35:45] Speaker B: Did you look up mystical?
[00:35:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:35:48] Speaker B: You see it?
[00:35:48] Speaker A: No.
[00:35:49] Speaker B: You don't see? It's fake.
[00:35:50] Speaker A: I can't tell.
[00:35:52] Speaker B: Look up Mystical Hot boys and then you'll see it right there.
[00:35:55] Speaker A: Okay to put a button on this, though. Do you think that. How many records do you think that they'll get into the verses before it start to get ugly? You think they got. I think they could do like 8 strong records, then like 10, 12, and then after that it's kind of like ugly.
[00:36:12] Speaker B: I think by the time no Limit get to five records, we're not going to know nothing else.
[00:36:19] Speaker A: That's a. That's. That could be a generational thing too, though.
[00:36:22] Speaker B: It could be.
[00:36:23] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying?
[00:36:24] Speaker B: It could be. But it's like Juvenile got his solo.
[00:36:26] Speaker A: Records, Juvenile got records.
[00:36:28] Speaker B: Lil Wayne got his Big Timers got theirs. And then the Cash Money songs in general. Because then, like, what is no Limit gonna play against? Bedrock?
You forgot they had Lloyd and Omarion at a point.
[00:36:42] Speaker A: Young Money. Shit.
[00:36:43] Speaker B: Tyga.
[00:36:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:36:45] Speaker B: That's all Cash Money. And Drake.
[00:36:47] Speaker A: Nah, Cash Money. Cash Money. Rack City. That's Cash Money.
[00:36:51] Speaker B: What no Limit just did is set theyself up, so they might as well just go get a noose.
[00:37:03] Speaker A: I'm looking at the braids.
[00:37:04] Speaker B: Tell me what no Limit got right there. Other than them jeans.
[00:37:09] Speaker A: Hooty Hoot. They can go 504 boys.
[00:37:12] Speaker B: You know I had the no Limit Dolls. What?
[00:37:16] Speaker A: No Limit.
[00:37:16] Speaker B: And you press the button and then Master P Say na na na na.
[00:37:21] Speaker A: You know, I think Master P, you.
[00:37:23] Speaker B: Know what I'm talking about.
[00:37:23] Speaker A: I think Masterpiece is the only entrepreneur in history to have invested in everything.
Yeah, he has cereal now.
[00:37:31] Speaker B: That's the verses right there.
[00:37:33] Speaker A: Now that's. Yeah, he whoop his feet.
[00:37:35] Speaker B: He whoop his feet on them investments.
[00:37:36] Speaker A: Ink, pens, barrettes, phone chargers. Yeah, he sold everything.
Oh, shit. Well, hopefully it goes well for me.
[00:37:47] Speaker B: Do Cash money have a movie?
No, there's no cash money movie.
[00:37:52] Speaker A: There's movies that they, I think have been a part of the producing, but I don't think there's a cash money movie like.
[00:37:59] Speaker B: Did no Limit have a girl?
[00:38:01] Speaker A: There was the girl signed at one point. I don't remember who it was. Let me see.
[00:38:05] Speaker B: Yeah, man, they bout to.
[00:38:07] Speaker A: You think Nikki gonna pop out?
[00:38:09] Speaker B: No.
[00:38:10] Speaker A: You think Drake gonna pop out?
[00:38:11] Speaker B: No.
[00:38:12] Speaker A: You think Wayne gonna pop out?
[00:38:13] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:38:14] Speaker A: What about the hot boys?
[00:38:17] Speaker B: The hot boys have to come. Wait, what hot boys?
[00:38:20] Speaker A: Like all of them.
[00:38:22] Speaker B: Who the real hot boy though?
[00:38:24] Speaker A: I don't wanna have that conversation.
[00:38:25] Speaker B: Who the original hot boy?
[00:38:27] Speaker A: I don't wanna have that conversation.
[00:38:27] Speaker B: No, let me got the movie.
[00:38:29] Speaker A: I don't wanna have that conversation.
[00:38:30] Speaker B: They got the hot boys movie N.
[00:38:32] Speaker A: Is out of jail. I don't want to have that conversation. Because I think what happened was when I think when Turk, I don't know, I'm not from New Orleans, you know what I'm saying?
[00:38:45] Speaker B: And then who gonna wear the army petite?
[00:38:50] Speaker A: Manny gonna wear it for sure.
I got you there for Manny and juvie.
[00:38:57] Speaker B: Who the originators of the petite.
[00:39:00] Speaker A: Well, remember when we had. I think we had Manny and Julie up here and I asked them.
[00:39:04] Speaker B: That's what they said though.
[00:39:05] Speaker A: Oh, you talking about this might be some other.
[00:39:06] Speaker B: What if no limit feel like they the originators at the time.
[00:39:09] Speaker A: Oh, I see what you saying.
[00:39:11] Speaker B: Cause my doll had fatigue. My doll was wearing that fatigue. And he said.
[00:39:17] Speaker A: And to be honest, if I'm being perfectly honest with you, I don't remember who I saw wear first.
Yeah, I don't remember.
[00:39:24] Speaker B: But didn't we ask.
[00:39:25] Speaker A: Well, no.
[00:39:26] Speaker B: Okay, well, we asked Rob for nine.
[00:39:28] Speaker A: He said. But he said the same thing that juvie Manny said. That's just how they. That's how they get down out there, out there, period in New Orleans. They was just all wearing fatigues. But if you remember, that's where the no limit soldier shit came from.
[00:39:40] Speaker B: Right, right, right, right, right.
[00:39:41] Speaker A: So I don't know who did it first and all that. That's. They politic.
[00:39:45] Speaker B: No limit don't have a girl record too.
[00:39:48] Speaker A: Girl records.
[00:39:49] Speaker B: Cause what do no Limit play when Juvenile play?
I like it like that. She working that back. I don't know how to act. And rodeo.
[00:39:59] Speaker A: Rodeo.
[00:40:00] Speaker B: What do they got?
[00:40:01] Speaker A: It's gonna be ugly.
[00:40:02] Speaker B: That's what I'm saying. 20. They better do 10.
[00:40:06] Speaker A: If it's 10, it's a fair fade.
[00:40:07] Speaker B: It's still not.
[00:40:08] Speaker A: I know.
[00:40:16] Speaker B: Hey, they gonna bring out Lil Romeo to play that Bow Wow diss track.
[00:40:21] Speaker A: Remember the dance he used to do? That was the dance he was doing in the. Oh, Romeo, give me a chance.
[00:40:28] Speaker B: Uh, auntie, I don't need a girlfriend.
[00:40:30] Speaker A: He.
[00:40:31] Speaker B: Hey, Cash May don't got nothing for that.
[00:40:33] Speaker A: No. Remember Bow Wow was signed to Cash.
He got Fresh as Amiz, nigga.
[00:40:38] Speaker B: Oh, my. Hey, it's a murder scene, nigga.
[00:40:41] Speaker A: Fresh as I Miz came out on Cash Money.
[00:40:43] Speaker B: Oh, I didn't know that. I didn't know that.
Oh, my God.
[00:40:49] Speaker A: Bow Wow was signed to Cash Money.
[00:40:52] Speaker B: Bumping like I'm bumping. Yeah. Keep this.
[00:40:54] Speaker A: Cash Money to Sleepers. The niggas that signed the Cash money at Sleepers is Bow wow. Khaled was signed to Cash Money. So then you got his records with his features. You also got is.
[00:41:04] Speaker B: Welcome to my hood, Cash Money.
Welcome to my hood.
[00:41:08] Speaker A: I don't remember.
[00:41:09] Speaker B: I feel like Birdman was holding the umbrella on that video. They got.
[00:41:12] Speaker A: They got the damn.
[00:41:15] Speaker B: Wasn't he? Was he. Y' all remember he was holding the umbrella? Oh, no. Fat Joe was holding the umbrella for.
[00:41:20] Speaker A: That was making it rain Khaled.
[00:41:21] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:41:21] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, yeah, but it's. It's two more people I'm thinking of. I can't. But niggas was signed to Cash Money. On the low woo.
[00:41:29] Speaker B: Start with straight shots and then pop bottles.
They don't got nothing for that.
They don't got nothing for that.
What they gonna play when Lil Wayne say, I don't see nobody, see nobody. Like a head shot.
[00:41:44] Speaker A: Or. Or you can go back to. You can go back to Carter 1.
[00:41:48] Speaker B: What they gonna play? What they gonna play When Cash Money play in my town?
It's young money like Ben Frank's baby pictures.
[00:41:59] Speaker A: Oh, then you got the like father, like son shit. You got the Birdman and Wayne albums.
[00:42:05] Speaker B: It's over. It's a murder scene.
[00:42:07] Speaker A: Yeah. I don't know.
[00:42:08] Speaker B: I can't wait, though.
[00:42:11] Speaker A: I'm here for the nostalgia and for the culture.
[00:42:13] Speaker B: Yeah. I'm happy that Versus is back.
[00:42:15] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:42:16] Speaker B: Now if you have to request a verses that has not happened yet. What verses would you like to see that haven't happened. Yeah, that's not happening.
[00:42:30] Speaker A: I know which way.
[00:42:32] Speaker B: You just say it for the clip. I just need you to say it for the clip. For the clip. It's crazy.
[00:42:36] Speaker A: You gotta say it for the clip.
[00:42:37] Speaker B: Just say it for the clip for me real quick.
[00:42:45] Speaker A: I would like to see.
I'm trying to pick a different one.
[00:42:50] Speaker B: Because I just say it for the clip. I just need it for the clip.
[00:42:53] Speaker A: Nah.
[00:42:54] Speaker B: All right.
[00:42:56] Speaker A: I'm trying to think of a really good one because I really enjoyed when they did the bay verses. I think it was short and 40.
I really enjoyed that. That was fire.
I would like to see something like that for, like, the south, like Miami or even, like, the ladies. Like, maybe you could do maybe like, a Trina and like.
[00:43:21] Speaker B: They did Trina.
[00:43:22] Speaker A: Oh, they did it.
[00:43:22] Speaker B: Trina and Eve.
[00:43:23] Speaker A: They did Trina and Eve. I don't want to do that. I wanted somebody in the same region.
I think that'd be better from a fan perspective.
[00:43:32] Speaker B: I want that R. Kelly and Usher.
[00:43:36] Speaker A: He gotta get out of jail.
[00:43:39] Speaker B: Trump be pardoning people.
[00:43:41] Speaker A: He didn't. He didn't pardon.
[00:43:44] Speaker B: That's the one we need too.
[00:43:46] Speaker A: Him. He got some. He got to figure out first.
[00:43:48] Speaker B: P. Diddy and. And Jermaine Dupree.
[00:43:51] Speaker A: Yeah, but he got. He got some other going on right now.
[00:43:56] Speaker B: Calling it other is crazy.
Some other s. He got some.
[00:44:02] Speaker A: He got some whole. He got. We got to figure out.
[00:44:04] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying?
[00:44:05] Speaker A: He don't even know where he. Yeah, where his. He finished. He got a book. A bnb.
[00:44:10] Speaker B: Oh, what?
[00:44:10] Speaker A: The bnb. Like, they trying to figure out where he gonna stay for the next.
[00:44:14] Speaker B: He's staying in prison.
[00:44:15] Speaker A: They trying to pick one.
[00:44:17] Speaker B: Oh, they was. He was gonna go to Fort Dix.
[00:44:19] Speaker A: No, they know he not going there.
[00:44:20] Speaker B: What's the name?
[00:44:21] Speaker A: Laura LaRosa said he not going there.
[00:44:22] Speaker B: It's called Fort Dix.
[00:44:23] Speaker A: It's called Fort. That's where he was trying. That's where the first reason to go.
[00:44:27] Speaker B: Imagine being able to pick a prison.
[00:44:30] Speaker A: Hey, man, that's that. That's money.
They for sure not asking me where I want to go.
[00:44:34] Speaker B: Would you rather. Would you rather.
Would you rather go to prison for 4 years or stay home on house arrest for 8 years?
[00:44:45] Speaker A: Home on house arrest. It's not even close. I don't want to go nowhere anyway.
Eight years do I got wi Fi.
I don't give a fuck about going nowhere. You crazy.
That's why I ain't gonna Lie to you.
I ain't gonna lie to you. Like, when I watch Bootleg Shout out to the Y N's, I watched Bootleg Kev's interview with Youngboy. He went to see Youngboy when Youngboy was staying in Utah. And he had, like, he was riding horses and shit. But he was confined to this one specific area. Like, he couldn't leave that area. And I'm like, that ain't really bad. To me, like, seclusion is not a negative thing, as you probably know.
Like, you like to go be off and be off grid type. That's not a prison. Is a negative thing to me. Being locked in my house for a certain amount of years is not a bad thing to me. Depending on your living conditions.
[00:45:36] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:45:37] Speaker A: And you can still make that work.
[00:45:38] Speaker B: All right. Another versus Jay Z and Kanye.
[00:45:49] Speaker A: That'll never happen. But it would be good.
[00:45:51] Speaker B: Wouldn't that be good?
[00:45:51] Speaker A: It would be fire. But then the problem with that. Well, which Kanye?
[00:46:02] Speaker B: Not God.
[00:46:02] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. Not the new then.
[00:46:05] Speaker B: Not kkk. Kanye.
[00:46:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:46:07] Speaker B: All right, so what's his new name? Yay. Not Yay.
[00:46:09] Speaker A: Before that. We want Kanye West.
[00:46:11] Speaker B: I want Kanye West.
[00:46:12] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:46:13] Speaker B: I don't want Jesus.
[00:46:14] Speaker A: That would be fire.
Because we need pre Taylor Swift. Yay.
[00:46:21] Speaker B: No.
Where's Paris?
[00:46:25] Speaker A: That's after Taylor Swift.
[00:46:26] Speaker B: See, I need that.
[00:46:27] Speaker A: You need Paris.
[00:46:28] Speaker B: Cause we need to close out with that one.
[00:46:30] Speaker A: Yeah.
The only reason I say that is. Cause shit started to go off the rails, and we don't want to be in the middle of the verses hov doing psa. And then ye stopped the music. Like, nigga, I'm the greatest producer ever. You know? Like, I don't need that.
[00:46:43] Speaker B: All right, what about Nikki and Kim?
[00:46:48] Speaker A: I think that Nikki has a slight advantage over Kim.
[00:46:51] Speaker B: Why?
[00:46:52] Speaker A: Recency bias.
Kim is hip hop royalty.
[00:46:56] Speaker B: Kim got pop records.
[00:47:00] Speaker A: I just think that Kim is too far. She's not been active and she's too far. I don't think it'll be a fair fight kind of thing. It's kind of like a nigga being in shape and he work out every day and then fighting Mike Tyson, who don't work out every day or something. You know what I mean?
[00:47:14] Speaker B: I don't think Nikki's newer records hit as much as her older ones do, though.
[00:47:17] Speaker A: Yeah, but Nikki been active more recent than Kim.
Just in the. Just where you kind of might. I think people will gravitate towards Nikki records more than Kim now, as opposed to it being like Kim was. Kim is still Kim. She's on the Mount Rushmore like, she's one of the. But I think it's just. She was like. I think it's too late for that.
When Nikki first popped out. And Nikki was the biggest artist ever. Probably. Yeah. Because there was a comparison there. People have moved on from the Kim and Nicki comparison, and now it's a Cardi. Nicki comparison.
[00:47:49] Speaker B: Mm.
I can see that.
[00:47:51] Speaker A: I don't think it'd just be a fair. Fair fade.
[00:47:53] Speaker B: I can see that. I just think that the. I think early Nicki or even like early mid career Nicki can still add up to early Kim.
End of career Kim down to like, put your lighters up.
[00:48:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:48:06] Speaker B: Just because of how many songs that the catalog has now.
[00:48:09] Speaker A: Low key. What would be dope is if we got a special edition of verses and it was just features now n could really play. Cause then you could do.
You know what I'm saying? You could do Jadakiss versus Fabulous or like. And it's just features.
[00:48:23] Speaker B: What you mean, just features?
[00:48:24] Speaker A: They features or just stuff that they've done? Like just. They feature verses.
[00:48:28] Speaker B: I think they both used their features, though, when they did their verses. Fabbit and Jadakiss did the verses.
[00:48:33] Speaker A: No, but what I'm saying is I think that makes it more interesting for other people. Because who catalog not that deep to participate.
[00:48:41] Speaker B: Yeah, they using them. Cause Ashanti was running back and forth.
[00:48:43] Speaker A: She was. She was playing.
[00:48:45] Speaker B: They used them features.
[00:48:47] Speaker A: She was playing both sides.
[00:48:50] Speaker B: What we do need, what would be. Oh, no, we already did that. I was gonna say guy groups or groups like B2K, but. Yeah, what was it? Omarion and Mar. See, that's another one where Mario was the underdog because Mario had less records. Supposedly. Omarion had more fresh songs and, you know, was seasoned in. And he lost.
Yeah, Omarion lost to Mario with records we never heard before.
Mario started performing unreleased stuff.
[00:49:25] Speaker A: Yeah, you right.
[00:49:27] Speaker B: We didn't know some of them songs.
[00:49:28] Speaker A: You right.
[00:49:28] Speaker B: But it sounded good.
All we knew was them brothers brought out that watermelon.
[00:49:34] Speaker A: Yeah, it's been some shit that's happened on verses that we didn't really need.
Like, I ain't gonna lie to you. It was that moment I didn't need the boy wonder. And I think it was Hit boy thing at first.
[00:49:48] Speaker B: He came. They did one.
[00:49:49] Speaker A: They was on Instagram.
[00:49:50] Speaker B: This was when it was early on.
[00:49:51] Speaker A: It was early.
[00:49:52] Speaker B: See, and I feel like we need to like jagged edge and 112. We need to do that in a real way.
[00:49:58] Speaker A: Run those back.
[00:49:58] Speaker B: Yeah, Like a lot of the ones that Was on the phones. We need to run those back. Who was Nelly? It was Nelly. Was it Ludacris? We need that in real place.
[00:50:06] Speaker A: The problem with that is. And that was one of my. That was gonna be my favorite one because Luda is one of my.
I love Ludacris, Nelly. I love Nelly. Like those two are. That's an equal matchup to me. But Nelly was picking his own records. That's why he lost.
Nelly got diamond records. Like, Nelly's a real hit maker. And he lost to Ludacris because he's picking his own fucking lineup. Like, he should have let the DJ pick his records.
[00:50:31] Speaker B: But Ludacris is. That's a tough opponent.
[00:50:34] Speaker A: It is, but it's Nelly, though. Nelly ain't no fucking slouch when it comes to these records.
[00:50:39] Speaker B: Nelly not a slouch, but I think Luda got more than Nelly.
[00:50:44] Speaker A: We need to run that one back.
[00:50:45] Speaker B: I think Luda got more than Nedly.
[00:50:47] Speaker A: We need to run that one back.
[00:50:48] Speaker B: That. We need that one.
I don't know about stats.
I know who got more bangers.
[00:51:01] Speaker A: Yeah. I don't know.
Okay. Anyway, we definitely need that.
I'm here for the verses that. To redo the verses that we did on the phone.
New projects. Taraji P. Henson, shout out to Taraji has projects coming with 50 Cent and Tyler Perry. I think this is really big and dope for the culture. I do really like 50 Cent in this role that he has of being able to just give people jobs.
[00:51:31] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:51:31] Speaker A: Because when the whole shit cracked off with Monique, he was like, I got something for you.
When the whole thing happened with Empire, who was his competitor?
[00:51:40] Speaker B: I remember when Fab said, trying to build an empire. Niggas in power want to. Hey, whoa. What, you mad? Cause I'm fucking your bird, bro.
[00:51:48] Speaker A: Bro.
50 is employing the. The main character from his competitor.
I think that that's just. That's that to me, that's dope. That's big.
[00:52:00] Speaker B: You think they're competitors?
[00:52:01] Speaker A: Well, remember when it was Empire, she was cookie.
[00:52:05] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:52:06] Speaker A: You don't remember that? There was this whole thing between Empire and Power.
[00:52:09] Speaker B: That's why I just said, trying to build an empire. Niggas in power wanna move.
[00:52:12] Speaker A: I know that, but obviously we saw how Empire went.
[00:52:15] Speaker B: But that's why I don't think that they competitors.
[00:52:17] Speaker A: They were, but I'm saying they were. But I just, like. I like 50's role and being able to get these black women employed who he's not, you know, and to be honest with you, there's two things that actually, me and Salas was talking about this.
50 Cent and Jay Z are two of the only black moguls who. I've never heard anybody complain about being paid.
[00:52:39] Speaker B: Mm.
[00:52:41] Speaker A: Right. Yeah. Outside of, you know, G Unit members. But they came out later and was like, you know, like, nah, like, I just ran through the money. You know what I'm saying?
[00:52:50] Speaker B: I love this, and I'm happy that the one thing that I always say is that the way that people view you has, to a certain extent, it has to do with how the men around you treat you. Okay. And the fact that, you know, she came out, she spoke up, she said what she said, and then boom. What? We see Tyler Perry.
She's on the new why Did I Get Married Again? She's gonna be on that one. She just had the other one. The. What was. I forgot the name of it. But it's the one that Teyana Taylor Strong.
[00:53:22] Speaker A: Oh, Straw.
[00:53:24] Speaker B: That was a Netflix.
[00:53:24] Speaker A: No, that was a Netflix movie. Strong.
[00:53:26] Speaker B: Yeah, that one. And then now here come 50 Cent. And you saw the picture he posted. That look fire that shit hard. That look fire. So I love it.
[00:53:35] Speaker A: I like it, too. I think it's super. And also, if I'm being honest with you, I don't really see a lot of people out loud supporting. I guess our black women like that.
From my.
I could be wrong, but I just don't see a lot of that out loud. So I think that that's dope to send a message like, this is what we own.
[00:53:55] Speaker B: I like the community aspect of it, that it's like, you have your network, they both have their own studio and stuff. And it's like, you know what? They not treating you right. Them others, the non us is not treating you right. Come on over here, sis. We got you.
[00:54:13] Speaker A: Come to Death Row.
[00:54:14] Speaker B: Come to Death Row.
Come to Tyler Perry Studios.
What's 56?
[00:54:22] Speaker A: It's called G Unit Studios.
[00:54:24] Speaker B: Oh, it's G Unit Studios.
[00:54:25] Speaker A: I think it's G Unit Studios. Yeah.
[00:54:26] Speaker B: Come on.
[00:54:26] Speaker A: I'm trying to. Shreveport, Louisiana.
[00:54:29] Speaker B: I love that.
[00:54:30] Speaker A: I heard that the studio was crazy. I saw some of the blueprints for it. That shit looks stupid.
[00:54:35] Speaker B: Is it done?
[00:54:36] Speaker A: Hell, no. They building it.
[00:54:38] Speaker B: Oh, it's not done yet.
[00:54:39] Speaker A: It's not done. But he keeps saying all roads lead to Shreveport. Yeah, I think. Oh, also too. I wanna point this out. A lot of people should be doing, like, you rappers with all this extra money with these chains and shit, need to be paying attention because these fools are flipped. Tyler Perry's a billionaire.
He started off homeless, doing plays on stages and stuff like that. A lot of people run around here buying all this. That's why every rapper that come up here, I be trying to ask him, like, what you doing with your money? Like, are you investing? And stuff like that. Because I don't like the stigma that these things are out of reach for us.
Because that's what I thought for a long time. I used to think, like, I'm not gonna buy no house. That's, you know, I can't buy no house. Like, yes, you can. You could buy a house for $10,000.
You know what I'm saying? You could buy property. You could buy studios. Even y' all be out here renting these studios and renting these cars. Like, you don't have to do that. So I love the message that it sends.
[00:55:29] Speaker B: Lack of knowledge.
[00:55:30] Speaker A: It's a lack of knowledge.
[00:55:31] Speaker B: That's it. They just need lack of knowledge. And in our communities, it's nothing out there for you unless you're a nurse or an athlete or, you know, like, it feels like everything.
I'm not saying it's actually nothing out there. I'm saying that's the message that. That we get. I never forget when my family day. Oh, you interview an artist.
What is that?
Go get your R. Go be an rn. Go get your AA degree and go be a CNA while you taking your classes. Be a cna, go get your AA degree and then your major in nursing for rn. No, I want to interview rappers.
They don't tell us that. You know, there's other stuff out there other than what's in front of us.
[00:56:15] Speaker A: You know, let's talk about some music real quick before we get up out of here. The new Monolio.
[00:56:20] Speaker B: You fuck with all the non blacks to the back.
All the non blacks to the back. And you wanna know what's so crazy about that song?
[00:56:27] Speaker A: The song.
[00:56:28] Speaker B: No, that song dropped. When Thug dropped that album cover.
[00:56:33] Speaker A: The timing. Yes, God be having.
[00:56:35] Speaker B: No, no, no, no. Don't quote me. I don't know if that's when it dropped, but I seen the comparisons on Twitter from what she did and what he did. And the conversation was basically like, this is what you're supposed to do, sir.
[00:56:47] Speaker A: This is how you supposed to execute.
[00:56:49] Speaker B: This is how you do it. So now we. I think. Do we.
[00:56:52] Speaker A: This.
[00:56:52] Speaker B: This has to go in line with the revolutionary songs.
[00:56:56] Speaker A: The Marlon Leo song. Yeah, I like it.
[00:56:58] Speaker B: She's given a history lesson.
[00:57:00] Speaker A: I like it.
To me, the whole song is like the third verse on Not Like Us.
[00:57:05] Speaker B: Yes.
Yeah, she gave us. It's really. It's a history lesson.
[00:57:10] Speaker A: Speaking of which, also, the Grammy nominations aren't in yet. Those will be in like the next three weeks. But the submissions are going out.
If Dot wins the gr. I think he needs three to tie Jay Z and he needs four to be the most Grammy award winning artist rapper of all time.
[00:57:31] Speaker B: What is he nominated for?
[00:57:32] Speaker A: He got six, he got seven.
They have seven submissions out. He's not. None of the nominations are out yet.
[00:57:38] Speaker B: Did you just submit it?
[00:57:39] Speaker A: But there's seven that he submitted for which he probably will get the nominations for all seven, including on that clips album.
[00:57:45] Speaker B: So what the hell did he get when getting nominated for last year?
[00:57:48] Speaker A: That was for not like us, fool. That was five just for not like us. That ain't even on the album.
[00:57:51] Speaker B: All of those was not like us.
[00:57:52] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:57:55] Speaker B: He didn't. Wasn't he? It wasn't best male hip hop artist.
[00:57:57] Speaker A: Or any of those for not like Us.
[00:58:01] Speaker B: So it was only not like Us. It wasn't for Kendrick himself.
[00:58:04] Speaker A: Well, him as a rapper.
[00:58:05] Speaker B: Yes, that's what I'm asking.
[00:58:07] Speaker A: Male rapper and stuff of the year or whatever. Right. But he only put out Euphoria and all that other shit. Like it wasn't no album.
[00:58:14] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:58:15] Speaker A: All the Grammys that are submitted now is for him being on the Playboi Carti album, GNX and the clips album, which I think there are seven or eight submissions out. He only need three to tie Jay Z, three or four to tie. Jay Z is the most Grammy Award winning rapper of all time, which is irritating a lot of people.
Mainly the people we blocked.
[00:58:46] Speaker B: You have Drake fan base blocked, not me.
[00:58:48] Speaker A: I don't have his fan base blocked. It'd just be, you know, so it's.
[00:58:51] Speaker B: Album of the year, best rap album and best engineer album comma non classical.
[00:58:58] Speaker A: Those are his. Those are for gnx.
But then he got the Playboi Carti and he got the. Was it chains and whips with the clips. He's actually competing against himself with the clips.
[00:59:08] Speaker B: And I see SZA for best pop duo group performance for 30. For 30.
And then TV off and good credit.
And then Luther. Wait, 30 for 30.
[00:59:23] Speaker A: That was SZA.
[00:59:25] Speaker B: Oh, he's featured on there.
[00:59:27] Speaker A: That's his. That's their song together.
[00:59:29] Speaker B: That's not on gnx, is it? No, Luther is.
[00:59:32] Speaker A: Luther is on gnx.
[00:59:33] Speaker B: Okay. Luther's nominated too, for record of the year and song of the year. I mean, not nominated submitted.
[00:59:38] Speaker A: Luther was number one record in the country for like it was like 30 weeks or something stupid.
[00:59:46] Speaker B: I think, I mean not changing whips. I think the Clips album has a good chance at winning.
[00:59:52] Speaker A: Yes. So here's what I think. This is what I told Jeremy Hecht. I think they're gonna give DOT album of the year. Which mind you, only two rappers have ever won album of the year ever.
Lauryn Hill and Cardi B. Cardi B. No.
Yeah, maybe. I think, I don't remember, but I think they're gonna.
[01:00:11] Speaker B: Oh no, it was Jay Z. Dolce.
[01:00:12] Speaker A: No, it was Jay Z.
[01:00:13] Speaker B: What did Dochi get last year?
[01:00:14] Speaker A: These are rap. So there's two. There's album of the year, meaning overall and there's rap album of the year.
[01:00:19] Speaker B: Ah, pack it up.
[01:00:21] Speaker A: So I think the clip's gonna win for rap album of the year and I think Doc gonna win album of the year.
[01:00:27] Speaker B: They not giving. They not giving GNX album of the year.
They not giving no west coast shit. You think so?
[01:00:34] Speaker A: Absolutely.
[01:00:35] Speaker B: What's the other submissions?
[01:00:37] Speaker A: That's the one. That's the thing. He's the only really real viable contenders was Morgan Wallen or Alex Warren, which is the country. And then Sabrina Carpenter.
Sabrina Carpenter, you think Sabrina Carpenter Album of the year.
[01:00:51] Speaker B: She's white.
[01:00:52] Speaker A: Oh no, it wasn't Sabrina Carpenter. She was. She was before it was Lady Gaga.
[01:00:57] Speaker B: Yeah, we gotta wait till nominations. Yeah. Cause we only talking submissions.
[01:01:00] Speaker A: Submissions. Yeah, but I'm just saying that's crazy.
[01:01:03] Speaker B: Yeah. Now I want GNX to win cuz that's still my favorite rap album. In over. Over anything.
[01:01:10] Speaker A: Over anything.
[01:01:11] Speaker B: Over anything.
[01:01:12] Speaker A: All like fabulous. All of like that's what's up. Yeah, that's my favorite too.
[01:01:16] Speaker B: That's my favorite rap album. But I don't see them giving an album. Maybe rap. I just don't see them giving album to the west coast.
[01:01:25] Speaker A: They gonna give album of the year to us this time. Watch. And clip's gonna get they rap album. Yep, for sure.
