[00:00:04] Speaker A: Welcome to Effective immediately. I'm DJ Head. [00:00:06] Speaker B: What up, Hip Hop Nation? It's your favorite homegirl, Gina Views. [00:00:09] Speaker A: Thank you for listening each and every week. We got a great show for you, Hip Hop Nation and all around the world. Thank you for tuning in. It's a lot going on in the culture. A lot's been transpiring. And this week we will be getting to some things that we have been avoiding. [00:00:23] Speaker B: Huh? [00:00:24] Speaker A: Yes. [00:00:24] Speaker B: I ain't ducking shit. [00:00:25] Speaker A: No. Yeah, well, not you specifically. Well, not we as in me and you, but the culture have been ducking these rap. We gonna be getting to these rap fades. Gina Views favorite thing. [00:00:34] Speaker B: Niggas is definitely ducking a booth. [00:00:37] Speaker A: Gina Views has inspired a whole like landslide of individuals to get in the booth and rap. Even people who shouldn't be rapping. I'm not gonna say no names. Okay, okay. [00:00:49] Speaker B: That's crazy. [00:00:50] Speaker A: Do you take credit for that, by the way? Cause, I mean, I gave you credit on the Bigger Picture podcast. [00:00:54] Speaker B: Yes, I watched that. Thank you. [00:00:56] Speaker A: And you know, I think that a lot of people are out here rapping because Gina Views said to get in the booth. [00:01:01] Speaker B: Well, anytime that I've like done like a cypher or like was like doing a freestyle, I just talk shit and call niggas scared to rap and then they start rapping. It works every time. It always works. [00:01:11] Speaker A: So you engage their ego. [00:01:13] Speaker B: I think I'm bruising niggas egos out here for sure. Cause it's like if you a rapper but you using your thumbs, are you really a rapper or a thumber? A thumber tweeter. [00:01:24] Speaker A: Okay. [00:01:25] Speaker B: An ex quoter. [00:01:26] Speaker A: Okay. [00:01:27] Speaker B: You feel me? Yeah, I just need n in a booth. I don't even care who rapping. [00:01:31] Speaker A: You don't even care who rapping. [00:01:32] Speaker B: I don't care where the bars come from. I just wanna hear em. [00:01:35] Speaker A: What if the rappers. What's the last whack bar you heard? [00:01:38] Speaker B: Oh, boy. Hey, I already been bruising egos. [00:01:41] Speaker A: All right, all right, all right. Yeah, we don't need to do that. But hit us up though. Hip Hop Nation. You can hit us everywhere. You can hit me. Djhed, Ena, Views, all on socials. We also have a phone line set up for you to leave us voicemails as well as text messages. If you wanna hit us direct. The number is 956 area code headphone. That's 956-H-E-D- F O N E is our phone number. You can leave us a voicemail or send us a text about any of the things that we're talking about and we will definitely respond. Or we'll run it on the air for you, depending on, you know, what you say. If it's not what bruising egos as Gene confused to say. And you can be anonymous, you could be anonymous. [00:02:16] Speaker B: If you don't want nobody to know that it's you calling, let us know. And we will not share your name or identity on air. [00:02:22] Speaker A: Yeah. Hit the website as well. Effective immediately live. Join our group chat as well. And we're going to be talking about this Chris Brown lawsuit right after this future. We got Lil Demon coming up and it's finesse two times. Right now, it's that back end on your radio pause. [00:02:35] Speaker C: Effective immediately with DJ Head and Gina Views. [00:02:39] Speaker B: Like, you put these motherfucking glasses on. He start talking like TI he just using big words for nothing on Hip Hop Nation. [00:02:45] Speaker A: That was a goddamn from Gunna. Right now on your radio. It is effective immediately on Hip Hop Nation. I'm DJ Head. [00:02:51] Speaker B: I'm Gina Views. And is it okay for me to report to you live from another bitch business? [00:02:54] Speaker A: Yes. [00:02:55] Speaker B: Or another man's business in this case. [00:02:57] Speaker A: Or sometimes it could be one and the same. [00:02:59] Speaker B: Yeah, it do. This is the Homegirl helpline. I am. I'm the homegirl. [00:03:03] Speaker A: Okay. [00:03:03] Speaker B: So according to People, Chris Brown is suing Warner Brothers for $500 million over the docu series where it says that he was an abuser. The name of the docuseries is Chris Brown A History of Violence. [00:03:17] Speaker A: Damn. [00:03:18] Speaker B: So Warner Brothers is facing a defamation lawsuit because of the docu series that did air. This is not an ad at all, but it was on investigation discovery. I wanna say that's the same platform that the Nickelodeon documentary came out. [00:03:31] Speaker A: I think so. Yeah. [00:03:32] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:03:32] Speaker A: Yep. That Nickelodeon was crazy. [00:03:35] Speaker B: That one was crazy. Yeah, I saw that. The Jane Doe in the situation from the documentary has actually retracted her statements. [00:03:46] Speaker A: Really? [00:03:47] Speaker B: Yeah. And there was also. When I was reading through the lawsuit, it said that she actually has already. They didn't find her to be credible. She wasn't credible. So that's one of Chris Brown's arguments. I see a lot of companies getting defamation lawsuits in the near future. [00:04:05] Speaker A: Yeah, that wasn't a thing. Like, I remember watching Hilla. I remember watching a Michael Jackson documentary that was wild. I mean, obviously he didn't get his justice for that. [00:04:16] Speaker B: Right, right. [00:04:17] Speaker A: But then also, the surviving R. Kelly documentary came out against his will. So it's like, I don't know what the. I don't know how the law is set up. I'M not a lawyer. We should have a lawyer come on the show. We gonna actually do that relatively soon. I wanna have somebody come. I wanna have a lawyer on and somebody that does politics. [00:04:32] Speaker B: Cause sometimes I'll be confused with these lawsuits. [00:04:35] Speaker A: Because think about it, how can it come out? There are people who say wild shit about you and I. Oh yeah. On platforms. So how does that work? Because these people go around, they shoot entire documentaries on an individual. They interviewing people. They using your photos, your videos, your music. How is that possible? And then you sit back and take that. And then now you sue them later. I wanna know how the defamation thing works. [00:05:03] Speaker B: I was told that as a public figure, I am less protected because I'm a public figure. [00:05:10] Speaker A: That's some bullshit. [00:05:10] Speaker B: For the defamation. [00:05:12] Speaker A: Yeah, that's some bullshit. [00:05:14] Speaker B: So I don't. I do. When I tell you I do not understand this shit at all. I've been confused with this lawsuit with Drake lawsuit. I have been so like. Cause I'll read through and skim through, you know, but it just doesn't. Some of this shit just don't make sense to me. [00:05:28] Speaker A: Apparently what I saw and what I've heard through, you know, different people I've talked to is Chris Brown does have a case. Like you said, it was withdrawn. The statement or whatever was withdrawn. But then I'm also looking at this Diddy case in the same way. Because like not in the same way. It's two. [00:05:48] Speaker B: I'm glad you said that. Cause as I was scrolling this week, I did see that P. Diddy is also issuing a defamation lawsuit. [00:05:58] Speaker A: Mm. [00:05:59] Speaker B: According to the New York Post, Diddy files 50 million defamation lawsuit against grand jury witness. [00:06:05] Speaker A: Okay, so here's the other thing too. I know that typically speaking if you're not in imminent danger. I mean, again, I'm not a lawyer. If you're not in imminent danger, you are allowed by the US Constitution to face your accuser in court. It can't. Like when they went after Jay Z. If you can't be random Jane Doe person, accuse me of something as egregious as sexual assault and then I just gotta just fight my case and I don't know who the fuck or what the fuck is going on. So like somebody gotta explain how this works to me. Cause I don't get it. [00:06:38] Speaker B: No, this shit does not make any sense. Do you think that we're going to see more artists suing companies? [00:06:47] Speaker A: Hell yeah. Absolutely. [00:06:48] Speaker B: Well, I tell you, no. [00:06:49] Speaker A: I just seen Jim Jones was co signing some of that type of action too. Yeah, yeah, but I think it's gonna be more of it. [00:06:56] Speaker B: I wanna know, like, how you said with these documentaries. Cause I was watching Tubi and they got some crazy shit about Diddy on there. They got the jersey with him doing a little dance and shit. They got Mr. Bentley with him. Like, I just don't get how this movie got past legal. They over there doing anything. Yeah, they over there doing what they want. [00:07:16] Speaker A: Hey, Tubi, you call us, though. Yeah. [00:07:19] Speaker B: Hey, shout out to Charlamagne and the whole Breakfast Club. They are streaming the Breakfast Club on Tubi now. Yeah, but, yeah, if y'all gonna be over there doing anything, come do anything with me. Cause I be doing anything too. [00:07:31] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? Hit us up. [00:07:32] Speaker B: This is definitely an ad. Not an ad ad, but our ad. [00:07:37] Speaker A: We got Kendrick Lamar, that Luther coming up. Shout out to Sza as well. We're gonna be talking about that right after this. Drake and J. Cole. First person shooter on Hip Hop Nation. [00:07:45] Speaker C: Effective immediately with DJ Head and Gina views. [00:07:49] Speaker A: Shout out to Zetti Will twerking with your friends right now. And effective immediately on Hip Hop Nation. I'm DJ Head. [00:07:54] Speaker B: I'm Gina Viewes. [00:07:55] Speaker A: Coi Lerae took to her Instagram. I believe it was last week, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe, like, not even that long ago. Maybe the week before last. I think it was last week. Her and Trippie Redd are a thing. Everybody kind of knows this. Trippie Red and Coi lerae have been the thing for a little bit of time now. And I guess they. She didn't announce that she was pregnant. She just kind of, like, posted a photo and they were, like, holding her belly, and she had a little baby bump, and people like, oh, congratulations. So the industry took it as. The industry took it as Coi Lerae being pregnant. And it's like, okay, cool. Like, everybody was like, all right, she's pregnant. Benzino also commented, which is Coi lerae's father. Like, wow, Magria, be a grandpop. I mean, be a granddad. I found out when y'all found out. You know what I'm saying? But that's not what's interesting. What's interesting is just recently, not even 10 days after this, I would assume. I think it was about. That's the right timeline. Coi Lerae went to her Instagram and posted a broken heart emoji. And she said, nothing worst than worst to spell W O R S T. Nothing worst too. [00:09:08] Speaker B: Yeah, that's worst. That's worst for her. [00:09:11] Speaker A: Yeah. But it's worse. [00:09:12] Speaker B: Nothing worst. She dramatic, she feeling. She emotional. She's emotional right now. [00:09:18] Speaker A: For her, I'm not coming. For her. There's nothing worst not coming for her. Nothing worse than being cheated on. I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy. [00:09:29] Speaker B: That worst fucking you up. [00:09:35] Speaker A: Yeah. You know what I'm saying? God bless. With a sad emoji. Now, I'm not gonna lie. I have empathy for Coi Leray. Obviously, no one likes to see traumatic things happen with women, especially when they are expecting a child. Y detrimental thing that could be taking place. But I also have a side of me where it's kind of like, callous and desensitized a little bit, where I'm like, well, what do you expect? You know what I mean? Like, not that not. And I know people always say, well, Beyonce got cheated on, so where did I leave you? I don't look at it like that. I just think it poses an interesting question as far as are people capable of monogamy? Number one and number two, does that get in? Does that intensify when somebody's in the light? Athletes, entertainers, rappers, comedians, like, everybody. It seems like nobody is following that fateful, monogamous type of deal. Gina views. [00:10:33] Speaker B: Are they capable? Yes. [00:10:36] Speaker A: Do you expect an entertainer to be faithful to you? [00:10:41] Speaker B: Nah, nah, nah, nah. We all outside. We all outside, okay? Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. If I date an athlete or a rapper, I'm gonna. I'm gonna expect the cashier at El Pollo Loco to cheat on me, okay? Niggas be cheating. [00:10:58] Speaker A: Okay? [00:10:59] Speaker B: Niggas just cheat. People just cheat. [00:11:02] Speaker A: So you saying people as in niggas? [00:11:04] Speaker B: I meant black women don't cheat. I don't know what everybody else doing. [00:11:09] Speaker A: Okay, so you don't expect any entertainer to be faithful? [00:11:13] Speaker B: I don't expect anything out of anyone because nobody owes me shit. I would like for the person that I'm dating to exclusively date me and not dibble and dab anywhere else, no matter what their occupation is. But don't nobody owe me nothing. [00:11:29] Speaker A: Including but what if you. So the argument always, well, what if we get married? Or what if we agree to be if we married? [00:11:35] Speaker B: Yes, I expect that. Cause you took the honor before God and all my family. And your family. [00:11:40] Speaker A: So what's the penalty for that? [00:11:41] Speaker B: You would just break up alimony. [00:11:44] Speaker A: Oh, you want that check? [00:11:45] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You have to pay me to cheat. [00:11:48] Speaker A: Is it worse if you pregnant and you get cheated on? [00:11:51] Speaker B: Yes. No pregnant woman should be going through that. That's so much stress. That's so much stress on her. [00:11:56] Speaker A: I agree with you. I got a logistics question now. [00:11:59] Speaker B: What? [00:12:01] Speaker A: So if you pregnant pregnant like pregnant pregnant like. And I can't. We can't really get it cracking. [00:12:08] Speaker B: How you asking for a hall pass? Cause I'm pregnant. [00:12:11] Speaker A: No, I'm asking the question. Like, where does that leave me? [00:12:15] Speaker B: All right, you in jail. [00:12:18] Speaker A: Mm. [00:12:18] Speaker B: Can your girl fuck other niggas? [00:12:21] Speaker A: What did I go to jail for? [00:12:23] Speaker B: I don't fucking know. Doing dork shit. [00:12:25] Speaker A: That you do dork shit? No, you can't cheat for dork shit. [00:12:29] Speaker B: Yeah, so what can you cheat for? [00:12:31] Speaker A: If I do some stupid. If I crash out, you could cheat. That's my logic. I'm sticking to it. Let us know what you think. Hip hop nation hit us up. Cheat back, Cheat back, cheat back. She pregnant. [00:12:47] Speaker B: If you're not pregnant, cheat back. [00:12:49] Speaker A: Jesus Christ. [00:12:50] Speaker B: Cheat back. And we all tossing the ball back and forth. [00:12:53] Speaker A: You cheat our cheat getting crazier. Crazier. Hit us up everywhere at effectiveimmediately live. Or hit our phone line. 956-H-E D F O N E. That's 956 headphone. Leave us a text or a voicemail and let us know, is it possible to be faithful in the industry? Let us know what you think. All right. Got some nle chopper right after this. Glorilla. And sexy Red. What you know about me? [00:13:15] Speaker C: Effective immediately with DJ Head and Gina views. [00:13:18] Speaker A: That was a central C21 Savage on your radio. Right now it is effective immediately on hip hop nation. I'm DJ Head. [00:13:24] Speaker B: I'm Gina views. [00:13:25] Speaker A: Grammy season is upon us. Gina views. It is that time of year again. Every February, we get treated to an award show full of people that don't necessarily look like us or respect us. But this year, it's kind of different. Kendrick Lamar is nominated for how many? [00:13:39] Speaker B: Seven. [00:13:40] Speaker A: Seven. Count them, seven Grammys. Now, I want to get your prediction on that as far as how many he's going to get. But first, hip hop nation want to let you know that the Grammy channel returns to Sirius XM to celebrate the 67th annual Grammy Award nominees. You can hear music and insight from Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Kendrick, K dot Lamar, Shaboozy, Chris Stapleton, Pearl Jam, and so much more. And songs from Grammy lifetime achievement award honorees such as Prince, which is. I mean, it's Prince. You know what I'm saying? Come on now. Roxanne Shantae and more. Listen Monday on Channel 17 and at home on your phone computer, Alexa, TV or other Internet connected devices. Make sure you tap in to. To the Grammy channel. Okay, now, now that you have that information, Gina views seven Grammy nominations for Kendrick Lamar. How many you think he's going to take? [00:14:30] Speaker B: At least four. [00:14:32] Speaker A: That's what I said too. [00:14:33] Speaker B: At least four. [00:14:33] Speaker A: I got at least. I'm going say at least three. And a five and a four. Possible. Like playing spades. Like a possible four. Minimum. These are my minimums, obviously. I think maximum. I don't think they give them all seven just on some, like, I don't know if it's hater shit. Not hater shit. I'm on the Grammy board. [00:14:52] Speaker B: Wow. [00:14:53] Speaker A: Not like hater shit like that. But I'm saying I'm not a voting member, though. There's a difference for people that want to get educated, but you can go do your due diligence. But it's like, you got to think, Shaboozy had a crazy year. Beyonce had a crazy year. So these people that Dot is up against is like some real hitters in the game when it comes to the success and the accolades. Beyonce, I mean, pretty much wins everything every year. So I don't necessarily know if Dot is gonna sweep the seven, even though I feel like he might deserve that. But that's feelings. That's not like I don't have the numbers and the statistics to back that up. [00:15:31] Speaker B: Right. Okay, so I have a question for you. All of that chaos you stirred up last year, I didn't start a Million dollar baby. [00:15:39] Speaker A: Million dollar baby. White privilege. That's what Gina said on tmz. So what are your thoughts on what Million dollar. [00:15:46] Speaker B: Now that the nominations were announced. [00:15:48] Speaker A: It wasn't nominated for Hip Hop Million Dollar Baby. [00:15:52] Speaker B: I don't think it was nominated for anything. [00:15:56] Speaker A: No, it wasn't. That's what I'm saying. I don't have shit. I don't give a fuck. Like, I think for whatever reason, I don't have a conspiracy. The. I saw a lot of conspiracy theories on Twitter. I did. Like, oh, the label. DJ head had a meeting with the label and they pulled back out of fear. Like, bro, I didn't talk to nobody. I talked to Tommy Richmond via text. I didn't threaten him. We didn't have no dialogue or no weird shit like that. [00:16:21] Speaker B: But you know what's so crazy about all of this, though? You wanna know what's so crazy about all this? [00:16:28] Speaker A: What? [00:16:29] Speaker B: You on a Grammy board. [00:16:30] Speaker A: Oh, my God. I'm on a Grammy board. I'm not a voting member. [00:16:34] Speaker B: Do what you want with that information? Hip Hop Nation. [00:16:36] Speaker A: Here we go. Anyway, I'm not gonna let asap, Ferg. I'm sorry, Ferg. He dropped the asap. [00:16:43] Speaker B: Shout out to Ferg. Y'all gotta go watch our interview with Ferg, man. [00:16:46] Speaker A: Yeah, our interview with Ferg was really, really fun. So check out that interview right now. It's up on Hip Hop Nation and on YouTube. Our interview with Ferg is up that allure. Coming up after this, Lil Uzi, Virtual. [00:16:55] Speaker C: Bae, Effective immediately with DJ Head and Gina Views. [00:17:00] Speaker A: New music right here on Hip Hop Nation via Effective immediately. I'm DJ Head. [00:17:04] Speaker B: I'm Gina Views. [00:17:04] Speaker A: Yeah, that OMB Peezy, that glow really lay down is amongst other songs that we playing now right here on Hip Hop Nation. Got that rideway west side connection. A lot of that dropped. Also that jello song. Tweaker just signed a deal with Def Jam Universal. Salute to him. But something else that's new. What is this climate change that's going on that people try to act like it's not happening? Shout out to everybody listening to us on Hip Hop Nation on the east coast and the Gulf of America, because Trump is changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. Okay. [00:17:36] Speaker B: Shout out to everybody at the Gulf of America. [00:17:39] Speaker A: Florida is experiencing snow, which is crazy to me because Florida is, like, humid and hot. And we picture. We don't picture that. I saw Juvenile go on his Instagram. He's in New Orleans and it's snow all over the ground. And he out there, like, on St. Charles street, which is an infamous street out there in New Orleans covered in snow. I got people that live in New Orleans. Cars are buried. They shoveling themselves out of the snow to go to the grocery store. It's insane. [00:18:08] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:18:09] Speaker A: My thing is, when you look at it from a perspective of hip hop, hip hop, we don't really care about shit like this. We didn't care about social justice until it started to affect us in real life. Like, you know, you had Fight the Power and all this kind of stuff that came out, and we expressed it through the art. I don't think nobody is caring about climate change in hip hop. Like, nobody's advocating for it. I don't see no help lines. I don't see no songs about climate change. But it is snowing in New Orleans. [00:18:39] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:18:40] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? [00:18:40] Speaker B: I saw cars that were frozen. Literally. Like, they're frozen. Like there's ice actually covered. Not snow. Not the cars covered in snow. They're covered in Straight fucking ice. [00:18:55] Speaker A: Ice. [00:18:55] Speaker B: Like if the car is just a frozen car, it looked. They look like ice cubes. [00:18:58] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. No, it's crazy because these states that I go to in the south, I really enjoy. Like, I mean, Texas experienced really bad ice storm before, but I've never seen no shit like this in Florida or even in Louisiana, stuff like that. If you are in these states, we would love to hear from you. [00:19:20] Speaker B: Yeah, please call us. [00:19:22] Speaker A: I would love to hear. Please give us something. What's going on? If you listening to us. Hip hop nation somewhere in the south, the Gulf of America and you have been snowed in or affected by the weather, climate change. We want to hear from you. Tap in with us on them socials. Effective immediately. Live, DM us, tag us, whatever you want to do. Also, we would love to hear your voice. You know what I'm saying? Hit us up. The phone line is open right now. 9, 5, 6 headphone. That's 9, 5, 6, h e d f o n e. Leave us a voice note, a voicemail. Send us a text. We would love to hear from you because I got to know what the fuck is going on on the ground. All right. Some lotto brokey coming up after this. Denial is a river on your radio. [00:19:58] Speaker C: Effective immediately with DJ Head and Gina Views. [00:20:02] Speaker A: Shout out to Finesse two times and Skillababy. With that music on your radio, it is effective immediately. I'm DJ Head. [00:20:07] Speaker B: I'm Gina Views with some battle rap. [00:20:11] Speaker A: Here you go. She's excited. You are so excited about this. [00:20:15] Speaker B: So Joyner Lucas hopped on Twitter. JoynerLucus tweeted, Yo, URL TV, let me do just one round at first so I can get my feet wet. I low key wish I could go against one of my peers, though. Someone who ain't as seasoned in the ring already but lyrically fit. But on the other hand, maybe going against a seasoned vet is the fun part. My fave battle rappers are Arsenal Daylight, Sirius Jones, Conceited, Murder Mook, Hitman, Holler. All legends. Yeah, all legends. All goats in battle rap. [00:20:48] Speaker A: Goated up. [00:20:49] Speaker B: Then that nigga said urltv. Nobody is off the table. What's up with you though? Meek Mill? [00:21:00] Speaker A: Did you? [00:21:01] Speaker B: Yeah. N Jordan Lucas was posted. Jordan Lucas was supposed to come outside when we heard that Tupac was listening to the Joe Budden podcast. Yeah, that's when Jordan Lucas was supposed to come outside. [00:21:12] Speaker A: He's supposed to pop out. [00:21:13] Speaker B: Jordan Lucas was being supposed to pop out. I love this shit. I love what Joy Badass is doing. I love that N is calling N out. I love that N is sparring. I love that N is getting in the field. This shit is beautiful. [00:21:24] Speaker A: I think what's interesting. [00:21:25] Speaker B: This shit is beautiful. [00:21:26] Speaker A: The most craziest shit for me about this whole shit. I want to see Joyner Lucas getting a feel, too. Him creating. I don't think you want to battle Joyner Lucas because he gonna shoot a music video that's gonna be insane. Look at this shit. He does this. [00:21:43] Speaker B: No, you gotta think about it. You gotta think about Joyner Lucas, his mind and his pen. The nigga rap from a dual perspective. He probably gonna get at Meek Mill from the perspective of them fries that was on his lap in that pool. The N so cold. The nigga so cold. URL. Shout out to Smack White. Shout out to Beasley. Shout out to Nunu Nelson. Y'all gotta make this happen. I need that. I need that. I need that. [00:22:12] Speaker A: This is the part that nobody, nobody, nobody's saying anything about. Like, Meek Mill at the house with his son. [00:22:17] Speaker B: Meek Mill ain't tweeted in days. [00:22:20] Speaker A: Meek Mill at the house with his son. [00:22:21] Speaker B: He better not get on Twitter and say no stupid shit. I wanna see that nigga rap. [00:22:25] Speaker A: I bet you, like, his phone just started going up and he's like, well, yo, why you say Fuck me for? Like, what did I do? You know what I'm saying? I'm excited for it. I think Jordan Lucas would. I think it would sell out, too. Like, I think. I mean, it would do. I think it would sell great, like, if they put it on, you know, behind a paywall. I think people would pay to see that. [00:22:45] Speaker B: Now, I did see people say that they want to see Joyner go against Cassidy. [00:22:51] Speaker A: I don't want to see that. [00:22:53] Speaker B: You know, Cassidy get busy, though. [00:22:54] Speaker A: Yeah, but I'm just. I'd rather see. I want to see Joyner go as somebody that's, like, not as, like, not as goaded like that. [00:23:04] Speaker B: In that field. [00:23:04] Speaker A: In that field. [00:23:05] Speaker B: Cause people was also asking for him to go against Joe Buddy. [00:23:09] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't wanna see that either. [00:23:10] Speaker B: Or what's my boy? Just. [00:23:12] Speaker A: Cause I don't wanna see Joe battle rap. [00:23:13] Speaker B: I forgot the other one name. I forgot his name. [00:23:16] Speaker A: You know what's interesting? Joe Budden is too monotone about it. That'd be like, me battle rapping. Yeah, it'd just be talking to you. [00:23:22] Speaker B: I love Joe, but I hated when he got on that stage last time. I don't ever want to see him do that again. [00:23:27] Speaker A: Didn't he have on Flip Flops Joe. [00:23:29] Speaker B: Always got on some rich nigga shit. That's a bougie nigga right there on the Crocs. [00:23:36] Speaker A: He might have had on them LaRussell threes, but, yeah, make that happen. [00:23:43] Speaker B: I will be watching, tuning in. I would love to be on stage with them N Smack. Let me flip the coin. Nunu wouldn't mind. [00:23:48] Speaker A: Why don't you just co host? [00:23:51] Speaker B: No, it don't work like that. It don't work like that. [00:23:53] Speaker A: It don't work. [00:23:54] Speaker B: No. Ain't nobody up there talking for real, but the battle rappers. [00:23:57] Speaker A: Okay, yeah. All right. [00:23:58] Speaker B: But I need Meek Mill. Hell, yeah. What I would need McMill to do, though, he gotta grow his hair out. Cause I wanna see them raggedy ass braids. I wanna see them raggedy ass braids. [00:24:08] Speaker A: Nah, I'm good. [00:24:09] Speaker B: I wanna see them raggedy ass braids. Like when he was like a corner boy or something. I mean, I don't know if he ever sold anything, but you know what I'm talking about. [00:24:15] Speaker A: No. [00:24:15] Speaker B: You didn't see his movie? [00:24:16] Speaker A: No. [00:24:16] Speaker B: When he had the raggedy ass braids. [00:24:18] Speaker A: No, no. Shout out to Meek Mill. Shout out to. [00:24:22] Speaker B: You wouldn't know nothing about braids. [00:24:24] Speaker A: Wow. That was completely unnecessary. You know what I'm saying? Anyway, Tyler the Creator got some sticky. Coming up right after this blast about you on your radio. It's effective immediately. [00:24:36] Speaker C: Effective immediately. With DJ Head and Gina Views. [00:24:40] Speaker A: Shout out to my guy, Jack Harlow, that tranquility right now. It is effective immediately on Hip Hop Nation. I'm DJ Head. [00:24:45] Speaker B: I'm Gina Views. And niggas is rapping. [00:24:47] Speaker A: Yeah. Gina Views issued a cattle call to make niggas rap. And they have answered the call in droves. [00:24:55] Speaker B: I love it. It's so. It's taste the air. Taste the air. [00:24:59] Speaker A: Not in la. [00:24:59] Speaker B: Not our air. Our air. Weak as a motherfucker. [00:25:01] Speaker A: Yeah. Our shit trash. [00:25:02] Speaker B: But over there in New York, Joey Badass dropped Sorry, not sorry. Where people are speculating that he subbed J. Cole lyrics are might delete later. I know damn sure that Joey won't fuck it. I want all the smoke. Which is what I told niggas while everybody was saying. He not subbing us. He not calling N out. He quoting Jay Z. Nigga. He quoted Jay Z for a reason. Do you know how many people was hitting me up like Gina? I know that he quoted the N for a reason. Because why he want all the smoke now? For context, my delete later. My delete later is a reference to the project that J. Cole dropped. That N Got it dapped and deleted later. [00:25:44] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:25:45] Speaker B: Joey telling that N to come outside. Not. [00:25:48] Speaker A: Yeah, telling who to come outside. [00:25:50] Speaker B: I think he telling J. Cole to come outside. [00:25:52] Speaker A: He not gonna get J. Cole to come outside. [00:25:53] Speaker B: I think he trying to get J. Cole off of that bike. [00:25:56] Speaker A: I don't. I don't see. And I've discussed this shout out to Jeremy Heck did a crazy breakdown too. You and him share your enthusiasm in n rapping now. [00:26:06] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:26:07] Speaker A: But I don't see Joey Badass getting the response that he is probably calling for. I think that other people are gonna respond to him, but I don't think that he's gonna get one of the big three to respond to him. [00:26:19] Speaker B: Okay. [00:26:20] Speaker A: It would be very. I think he gonna get a bar, though. He might get a. He might get like a little. Little bar like on the next album. Like, I think, like. So J. Cole's gonna drop the fall off, right? I think everybody gonna get a bar. [00:26:31] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:26:32] Speaker A: Drake gonna get a bar. Dot might get a bar. [00:26:34] Speaker B: The podcasters. [00:26:35] Speaker A: Podcasters. Joe Budden for sure gonna get a bar. [00:26:37] Speaker B: Joe Button getting. [00:26:38] Speaker A: Yeah, he might get a bar. [00:26:39] Speaker B: Joe Button might get a verse. He might give. Joe Button. [00:26:44] Speaker A: Elliott Wilson gonna get a bar. [00:26:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:26:46] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? Joey Badass might get a bar. [00:26:48] Speaker B: Yeah. But the thing about it, what I love about this is that, I mean, I love rap beef, though, too. So don't get me wrong what I respectable. And these are two people who just respect the craft and the art of hip hop. So I don't even think that J. Cole is going to take any of this disrespectful. They just sparring. [00:27:07] Speaker A: You think so? [00:27:08] Speaker B: Yeah. None of this has been disrespectful. Even the whole. Too much west coast dick licking. A lot of niggas got. Got us motherfucking balls deep. Let us know. Who do y'all want to respond? [00:27:21] Speaker A: Yeah, who do you want to respond to? Joey Badass. Cause right now it's just. He just spraying at everything. He's shooting, just shooting. [00:27:28] Speaker B: He's got that motherfucker out just shooting. [00:27:31] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? So who would you like to see? Joey or respond to? Joey Badass. Hit us up. Let us know. Effective immediately live. You can hit us everywhere at Effective immediately live. Hit the phone line 956 headphone 956h e d f o N E. Shoot us a voicemail or a text. Got some future Lil Demon after this little dirk on your radio. [00:27:49] Speaker C: Effective immediately with DJ Head and Gina views. [00:27:53] Speaker A: Shout out to Honey, baby, on your radio with that left eye. That sample on there is crazy. It is DJ Head. [00:27:58] Speaker B: I'm Gina Views. [00:27:59] Speaker A: Yes. And a huge announcement just got displayed after the GNX album dropped. The grand national tour, Kendrick Lamar grand national tour got announced. With SZA in tow or no co headlining tour. No disrespect. Not in tow, a co headlining tour. SZA and Kendrick Lamar, the grand national tour. And we all know that Dot is doing the Super Bowl. And out of nowhere, I do want to point out that Justin Hunt, shout out to Justin Hunt. He said that he would love to see. He said, are we getting any more music videos from gnx? And I just put eyeballs on it. Same day that I put them eyeballs. Under his comment, Dot drops the teaser for him and SZA performing at the super bowl together. [00:28:47] Speaker B: I love how every time you participate in social media stuff like something drop. [00:28:52] Speaker A: So it's just crazy how that be happening. [00:28:53] Speaker B: Right? [00:28:54] Speaker A: Right, right, right. [00:28:55] Speaker B: Hell of a coincidence. [00:28:56] Speaker A: Shout out to Justin Hunt and shout out to Jeremy Hecht who tried to get the information out of me, but you know, it is what it is. But yeah, SZA is gonna be at the super bowl with Kendrick, K Dot Lamar. This is, I mean, when I tell you. Okay, first of all, let's back up a little bit. Congratulations to SZA and Keke Palmer for having the number one move in Issa Rae for having the number one movie in America. [00:29:15] Speaker B: $14 million this past week. [00:29:18] Speaker A: Crazy. Okay. Insane. Also, number one soundtrack salute to them black women. $14 million opening salute to them black women. And I haven't heard not one negative review about the. About the movie at all. [00:29:32] Speaker B: I went to go see it. [00:29:33] Speaker A: Was it good? [00:29:33] Speaker B: It was so freaking good. It was kind of like to me, it was like a girl's version of Friday. Okay, bet that's what it was giving me. But I'm from la. I'm really from here, so I'm noticing every single location that they own, every street they own. It was amazing to see their. So I've never in my life watched a movie straight through. I could probably not. Never in my life. I can probably count on one hand how many times I watched a movie straight through without falling asleep. I was up the entire time watching that movie. It was so good. [00:30:04] Speaker A: Now, the reason I brought this up is cause women across the world lost their shit when SZA was announced to be. [00:30:11] Speaker B: But I don't know why I felt like that was inevitable. [00:30:15] Speaker A: Like people saw what happened. [00:30:17] Speaker B: I always thought that SZA was coming out. You did Yeah, I always thought that this wasn't. So when I see, I'm like, I damn near was thinking that I have some information that I wasn't supposed to know. Cause when I said, I'm like, oh, oh, okay. [00:30:28] Speaker A: Well, you also have more, you more in tune than the average person. But when that announcement came out, you know, when he was like talking on the phone, he walking in the field. It was a dope ass spot. They shot a dope spot. But he's talking on the phone and Sza comes up and dumps the Gatorade or whatever it is on him. And it's like, oh, she's gonna be there. [00:30:48] Speaker B: Yes. [00:30:49] Speaker A: Man, when I tell you women just lost their fucking mind. It's like, I don't. Has SZA become not the new Beyonce? I don't wanna put a lot on it, but is Sza that, like, is she Sza? [00:31:02] Speaker B: Is that girl? Okay, Sza that girl, period. And granted, don't want to put the Beyonce pressure, but SZA is that of this era, this generation. So the years to come, obviously she's going to, as her career grows, you know, will be kind of, I think that in the next decade she's going to already have that like legendary status, that title. [00:31:27] Speaker A: Do you think that we get the Beyonce collab? [00:31:29] Speaker B: Hell yeah. [00:31:30] Speaker A: When? [00:31:32] Speaker B: If Jay Z running this whole show, right? [00:31:35] Speaker A: I'm talking about sza. [00:31:37] Speaker B: That's what I'm saying. If Jay Z running this whole show, it gotta be some relationships. [00:31:40] Speaker A: Do you think Beyonce makes an appearance? [00:31:42] Speaker B: Beyonce not coming out. Beyonce might be one of them boxes, but she not coming out on the stage. She just did the Christmas one. Yeah, she not coming out, but I love this. This is amazing. Who you think dial was on the phone with SZA? No, SZA's hands was full. [00:31:57] Speaker A: She was dragging the gateway when he was walking. Yeah, I'm thinking about. Anyway, when he walking on the field in the commercial, who was he on the phone with? Hmm. Me. [00:32:12] Speaker B: Uh huh. [00:32:14] Speaker A: Throw my name in the hat. [00:32:16] Speaker B: Throw my name in the hat. You ought to pop out on the super bowl commercial. And you didn't tell me nothing. No, weirdo. [00:32:21] Speaker A: I want all the smoke. [00:32:24] Speaker B: Take us to the next one. [00:32:27] Speaker A: Exactly. But yeah, hit us up.
