[00:00:04] Speaker A: Welcome back to another episode of Effective Immediately. Ness. I'm Gina. [00:00:09] Speaker B: I'm DJ Head. [00:00:12] Speaker A: Nae said. [00:00:16] Speaker B: She did. [00:00:17] Speaker A: The camera's on. [00:00:18] Speaker B: Y' all talking too much. [00:00:19] Speaker A: The cameras is on. [00:00:21] Speaker B: All right. [00:00:21] Speaker A: What's up, man? Welcome back. [00:00:23] Speaker B: Welcome to Effective Immediately. Welcome to another episode. Thank you for tuning in each and every week. Gina Views and I are back. [00:00:32] Speaker A: Did you miss me? [00:00:32] Speaker B: I did, actually. I ain't gonna lie. You know I ain't gonna lie. Let me tell you two things. First thing is I realized something. I realized how special you are. [00:00:45] Speaker A: Okay. [00:00:47] Speaker B: Because I was. I wouldn't necessarily say I was talking to some people. [00:00:53] Speaker A: Okay. [00:00:53] Speaker B: And I realized, like, damn, like, I really got, like, a cool sis. Like, because I realized that not everybody thinks the same. We don't think the same a lot, but we have similar thoughts, if that makes sense. As far as, like, all right, we wanna win. We got these different goals. We got stuff that we trying to accomplish. But then people are really stupid. [00:01:17] Speaker A: Yes. [00:01:17] Speaker B: And I've been telling, like, all I've been telling Salads, I've been telling Glasses that people are stupid. I've been telling them niggas that for over 10 years. Humans are stupid. But what I realize is that when I have conversations with women, you're one of the most realistic people, and that's rare. The second thing I realized is that I don't really wanna do shows solo. [00:01:39] Speaker A: It's weak, huh? [00:01:40] Speaker B: Yeah. Like, when I was in New York, Shout out to our serious fam in New York. Thank you for the hospitality. That sound like crazy. We on the radio dissing our own shit. No, I was in New York for a week, actually, running around, doing all kind of wild shit. I went to the Sirius building out there. They was Shout to Brianna. And our team in New York held me down really, really good. But I had to get on the radio solo. And I was like, I see what you go through now, doing your Saturday show. [00:02:09] Speaker A: That's why I be having to write a script. [00:02:11] Speaker B: Yeah. I went in there like, I'm like, oh, I'm talking to. Then I realized, oh, no, I'm talking to myself. [00:02:15] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:02:16] Speaker B: I'm talking to Hip Hop Nation. And it is like. But there's no. Like, there's nothing to say. Nobody's saying nothing back to me. [00:02:22] Speaker A: Yes. [00:02:24] Speaker B: Ain't nobody telling me that I'm burnt out. I'm autistic. And that's. Wait, that's really bad. You know what I'm saying? Or would you say I'm. Or why? [00:02:35] Speaker A: Why? [00:02:36] Speaker B: Why ain't nobody Saying that back to me on the rail. So I was like, yeah, I'm cool on this shit. Let me get back to la. [00:02:40] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:02:41] Speaker B: But I did have a great time. [00:02:43] Speaker A: What did you do? [00:02:44] Speaker B: I went to the Sirius building. I did our radio show. I went to see Joe Budden. Shout out to Joe, soon as I walk in. So this. Let me tell you what happened. So I go to. First of all, it's a crime. How much they charging for Ubers? [00:03:01] Speaker A: It's high out there, huh, nigga? [00:03:03] Speaker B: Yeah, I spent three kidneys in New York on Ubers. I ain't got it, bro. We come with two. So. [00:03:12] Speaker A: So. [00:03:13] Speaker B: So I get. So I get all the way to Joe. To Joe spot where he does his show. It's like, outside the city. It's beautiful. I never really, like, spent time in New Jersey like that. It's really nice. Like, it's really beautiful. And even though it was cold, it wasn't bad weather. I get out there and, I mean, I walk in, I sit down, and so it went just like this. Yo, what up, head? Yo, yo, where's Gina? Like, I'm talking about. As soon as I sat down, I was like, yo, where's Gina? I'm like, yeah, Gina can't make it. She has shit to do. He like, oh, okay, you. You didn't understand. He was like. He was. He was like. He's like, okay, you, you. You. You didn't understand. I'm like, understand what? He's like, I told you to come up here. Cause I wanted to see Gina. I was like, gina. Gina got shit to do. She couldn't make it. He was like, all right, well, all right, well, you'll do. You know what I'm saying? We'll make it happen. Whatever. But super. What I realized, too, about Joe is that. And I didn't realize this until being there, Joe is really a genius when it comes to content. And it's something that you spoke about before, is why you're a big fan of Joe Budden. I didn't realize how good he was at identifying the moments and content. And he turns it on and off, like, really fast because the camera go off. He'd be like, yeah. So, you know, you, my friend, like, you know, what you wanna talk about? You wanna talk about this? We wanna talk. I said, nigga, I'm here to with y'. All. We talk about whatever you want. I'm not, I'm not. I don't run from no conversations. So we talk about whatever you want to talk about. He was like, all right, Rashad. I just want to make sure you know you my man as I fuck with you. Like, we friends. Like, I'm like, all right, bet it was very respectful. [00:04:53] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:54] Speaker B: The whole team was there. They all love you. They all asked about you. And it was funny because. It was funny because when I think it's ish, when ish tries to give a compliment, it still sound hella aggressive. He's like, you know, I fuck with you and Gina. You know what I'm saying? I'm like, all right, my. [00:05:16] Speaker A: That's that east coast shit. [00:05:17] Speaker B: That's that east coast shit. But it was really cool, like, being there and seeing that. And I understand, like, I watch the show. Not as much, not as religiously as you watch it, but I understand why people fuck with the show. Yeah, it's a really, really interesting dynamic that they have. And then I got to meet Mark, which was dope for me because I really respect Mark Lamont. He'll. And you know, I spent time doing that. And then I did. I went and saw hung out with our friends at red bull symphonic. Let me tell you something. I know you fuck with r and B. I know you fuck with afrobeats. Nigga, you ain't heard afrobeats. So you hear with a symphony, I'm low key. [00:05:50] Speaker A: Sleep on afrobeats for transparency. [00:05:53] Speaker B: That shit with a symphony is insane. Like, ashake came out wiz kid came the girls. It was this girl that looked just like our producer nay sitting behind me. She. She was losing her fucking mind, really. When ashake came out there in that suit and she was like, oh, that's my man. He was like, no, he's not. Okay, he's on stage. You're here with us. But it was dope to see that. And the ovation that we. His kid got when he came out gunna came out Friday came out. That was dope to see. And then I also went to go see our friends over at apple, so shout out to them for the hospitality. But yeah, it was a dope trip. Ironically, the weather was really good and it didn't get ugly till I went to Atlanta and the weather was stupid. [00:06:39] Speaker A: Oh, you was on tour? [00:06:41] Speaker B: Yeah, I went to Atlanta. [00:06:42] Speaker A: That's why I need your location. [00:06:43] Speaker B: I know I should share it with you. Yeah, I went to Atlanta real quick just to see the homies baller alert show. They was doing their year end wrap ups. So I just shot over there real quick. I had some sky miles. [00:06:53] Speaker A: Damn. It is time for year end wrap ups. [00:06:56] Speaker B: The year End wrap ups is coming. [00:06:57] Speaker A: So you wanna know what's so crazy? Every time it comes for the end of the year and it's time to do like wrap ups and stuff, I always say next year I'm gonna write everything down top of the year and never do it. Cause remember we did our wrap up last year and we was scrambling. [00:07:13] Speaker B: Oh yeah. [00:07:14] Speaker A: And we only we low key. I think we had some stuff from earlier in the year. But remember all our stuff was kind of after summer. [00:07:20] Speaker B: Yeah. We left a lot on the table because we did it down in our studio. In the serious studio. Yeah, that was a dope show. [00:07:28] Speaker A: That was. [00:07:28] Speaker B: That was a dope show. [00:07:29] Speaker A: Hopefully they serious have us do it again. [00:07:31] Speaker B: Yeah, I think we should do one again. [00:07:33] Speaker A: But no, when y' all called me, I was so happy. [00:07:35] Speaker B: For real. [00:07:36] Speaker A: I was so. I love Joe. [00:07:38] Speaker B: I was trying to. I was like, I was like. Cause he was like, yo, I want to talk to her. I was like, cause I know your phone will be off. So I'm like. I was trying to figure out like who lived by genius. I can get to go over there. And I was like, let me just see. So I was hitting you like, hey, Joe, wanna talk to you. [00:07:53] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:07:54] Speaker B: And so it was like, it was cool. I got the. When I called you, I don't know if you saw the episode, but when I called you, we were. He. They were just giving you your props. [00:08:02] Speaker A: I haven't seen it yet. [00:08:03] Speaker B: Oh no, you gotta watch that. [00:08:04] Speaker A: I seen some stuff like. Cause people scream. Like when people saw you there, a lot of people was hitting me up, why are you not in New York? Why you didn't go? And stuff like that. So people were sending me clips and stuff. But I gotta watch it like in its. [00:08:15] Speaker B: Yeah, they were. They. When I called you, they were right in the middle of like, man, we love Gina. She's so dope. He was. And Joe was like, she knows the music. Like that's the thing that people. Cause people think, oh, Gina, Gina like Gina fine, she cute, she bad. But like, no, nigga, she know rap. And that's what the niggas be on like, especially east coast nigga. Like n she be in the battle rap shit. Like that's they world. So they fuck with that. [00:08:39] Speaker A: Yeah, no, I love Joe. I never forget. I do want to tell him this to his face. But when everyday struggle, when they took him off Everyday Struggle, I was sad. I was as Sad as when 106 and park got canceled. [00:08:52] Speaker B: Damn. [00:08:53] Speaker A: Like, I was sad. Like I made a Video about it and everything. Like, I was sad. [00:08:57] Speaker B: Where's that video? [00:08:58] Speaker A: I deleted it. [00:08:59] Speaker B: I wanna see that. [00:09:00] Speaker A: I went, you know you gotta delete your tweets these days. Yeah, But I looked ugly in it. Oh, this like, I think I had red hair. [00:09:08] Speaker B: Oh, this early genius. [00:09:09] Speaker A: The new n. S don't know red hair ever. [00:09:11] Speaker B: Red hair. [00:09:12] Speaker A: Like, they don't know that. But while you was gone, I went to go see jagged edge. [00:09:16] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:09:17] Speaker A: Best concert I ever been to. [00:09:19] Speaker B: Really? [00:09:19] Speaker A: Yes. Me and nay was up in there singing our hearts out. Like we found love in a hopeless place. Like he can't love you Like I love you like nothing is promised to me and you like, girl, can we be tight? I got the key. Reminisce for you. Like we was in there just. Oh, you know that you really got me going. We was in there going uphead. [00:09:42] Speaker B: Was it everything that you thought it would be? And more and more. How long was the show? Because I remember when they did the show, I think they cut they show short at the first one that I went to because it was a BET show. [00:09:55] Speaker A: How long was we there? From 7 to 12. I think doors open at 7. Yeah. The opening acts. Eric went on at 7. I think Lloyd went on like 8. Jagged Edge close to, like 9. We were down like 10:30. [00:10:11] Speaker B: So they're like 90 minutes. [00:10:12] Speaker A: Yeah. They had outfit changes. They had dancers. The dancers had outfit changes. Like, they played music videos. They did a tribute to d'. Angelo. [00:10:21] Speaker B: That's dope. [00:10:22] Speaker A: It was such a good show. And they were intimate in everything, like, with the audience and stuff like that. They was shaking people hands. It was a good show. It shouted you out too, right? The day after. Yeah. So Brandon shouted me out. [00:10:39] Speaker B: For real? [00:10:39] Speaker A: Yes. Cause I was tweeting about it, so. So then he posted my tweet and he was like, I'm so mad. We didn't get a chance to take a picture. [00:10:45] Speaker B: Wow. [00:10:45] Speaker A: And what's so crazy is that's one. [00:10:48] Speaker B: Of the twins, right, Brandon? Yeah. [00:10:49] Speaker A: Mm. I literally was like, thinking, I'm like, dang, I should ask Lee if I could, you know, if I could go backstage or whatever. But you know me, I don't like asking for stuff. [00:11:00] Speaker B: And I would've. What? You lucky I didn't know that. Cause I'd have told him come get you. [00:11:04] Speaker A: Why? He called me. He? Yeah, Nate, I didn't even tell you that. He freaking called me. You know, my phone be on D and D. So he texted me, like, are you gone? You left, Whatever. So I'm like, no, I'm still in the locked. He said, I was trying to come get you so you can come backstage or whatever. And then I'm like, I done freaking missed it. And my friends Perche and Lauren, they wanted to go backstage back. They was on some, like, I like him. [00:11:27] Speaker B: I'm choosing us. [00:11:28] Speaker A: Yeah, they was choosing. Oh, they love the twins. [00:11:31] Speaker B: They coming to get they baby daddy. [00:11:33] Speaker A: Yeah, they love the twins. But yeah, no, it was such a good. It was such a good show. It was such a good show. [00:11:41] Speaker B: Do you think that. Did they do all the songs that you wanted? Because I hate when I go to the show. They never do the songs. [00:11:48] Speaker A: Yeah, they did a lot of the. So we had a Jagged Edge concert, car concert on the way to the show. So I'm getting all them out. Because I know, like you said, they don't normally perform, you know, like, artists don't normally perform your favorites or whatever. Like they do, you know, like just the singles. But no, I end up missing this. Cause we was at the bar. But they performed baby. And that's not like a sleeper Jagged Ass song, but it's still one of those. That's like kind of low. Like, it's a deep cut. [00:12:17] Speaker B: It's not as big as the other. [00:12:18] Speaker A: Ones, and it's a newer song than all the other ones, so I didn't even expect that. But I think that was like the first one. That was like the first one that they did. Yeah. [00:12:26] Speaker B: Did they do the one of the bow. Remember we had the debate about the Bow Wow songs? Cause I remember when the show I. [00:12:31] Speaker A: Went to, they did do either Bow Wow song. [00:12:34] Speaker B: Okay. Because I remember when I got back. I don't remember what we talked about after I went to that show. They did do one of the Bow Wow songs and we talked about it on the radio. [00:12:42] Speaker A: Yeah, no, they didn't do the Bow Wow song, but they had the music videos up, like, to all the songs in the background and stuff like that. But yeah, it was so good. She didn't even know I was in there crying. I had to put my glasses on because I was sitting there thinking. I'm like, I'm at the level of my life where. Where I can go to a show that I'm invited by the actual. The group or the artist. You know, they team. I'm in direct conversation with the team. This is my favorite group, and this is who my sister put me on. It's like, you know how, like, in certain situations, like how you took. I mean, how Salas took His mom for the Cardi B thing. [00:13:20] Speaker B: For the Cardi B. Yeah. [00:13:21] Speaker A: And it's like you kind of get to a certain level of your life where your success, you share it with the people that surround you and you want to. Like, how I call my daddy, like, Joe, he badass. He love. He remember, he was. He said, I'm your biggest fan. [00:13:33] Speaker B: Unique. He turned into a fan. [00:13:34] Speaker A: He turned. Yeah. Freaking Ice Cube, you know, like all that type of stuff. Like just being able to share those moments with your people and me not being able to do that. Like, I was in there crying. I'm like, dang. This would have been the one that. I'm like, hey, sis, come on. You know, like, we got jagged ass tickets, you know? But I think it's crazy too, realizing the. So mind you, me and Lauryn and Perche been friends for years. I didn't know that. They are huge Jagged Edge fans. So it's crazy to me, like, knowing, like the obviously, like the generational gap that they have, but they also merge the gaps together. Music merges generational gaps. [00:14:15] Speaker B: Yeah, for sure. [00:14:16] Speaker A: Like, and that's hard. To me, that makes sense. Even seeing, like, Monica or Brandi still performing and stuff like that. Maya on tour. Together on tour. Jagged Edge, like, and this not no small shows. These are big ass shows. [00:14:32] Speaker B: Arenas. [00:14:33] Speaker A: Yeah. So the fact that these people made timeless music that years later and generations who wasn't even old enough to understand or really know the music can still all come together on one accord, that's beautiful to me. [00:14:46] Speaker B: I got a question. This is a random question, but you know how they have traded all part one or Fabulous. It's trade it all and then trade it all part two. Jagged Edge is on part two. Two, Right. Who's on part one? [00:15:01] Speaker A: I think it's just P. Diddy and Mario Wayans. Mario Winans. Winans. Winans, Winans. [00:15:09] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:15:10] Speaker A: Retrogate. [00:15:11] Speaker B: Okay. For sure. Cause I always wondered about that. Like, if there's a part. Like, how do you work that into the set list? Like, if you're doing. If you just a feature on this song and then all of the guys. Cause I remember, I don't know if we. I think we talked about it when they was up here. But like, how do you decide who gets to sing on the feature? Because you can't have all four niggas having a verse on a feature if it's featuring Jagged Edge. But they all do the. They'll all do the hook. But then how do you get to decide who does the verse? [00:15:40] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. I get what you saying. I think, though, for the most part, like with R and B groups, that they normally just use whoever the main. The lead singer is or the most recognizable voice. [00:15:52] Speaker B: And that's what the twins talked about, that they had the most recognizable voice. Okay, so who will be the lead singer, technically? [00:15:58] Speaker A: To keep it real with you, I'm the biggest jagged ass fan. I don't know the difference between they voices. [00:16:04] Speaker B: Yeah, they sound the same. [00:16:05] Speaker A: They sound the same. They look the same. [00:16:08] Speaker B: Like, them N is duplicates. [00:16:10] Speaker A: I didn't know who was saying it. And the other two, like, I didn't know. They mama said copy and paste. Like, I didn't know who was, you know? But I think that's the beauty of them still being together and being a group is that. Oh, head. They look good. Well, you seen the BET one, But they look good. They sound good. They still moving. [00:16:30] Speaker B: They still up there moving. [00:16:31] Speaker A: Yes. Ain't no. Everybody look healthy. They look like money up there. Like, man, that was a good show. [00:16:38] Speaker B: I ain't gonna hold. You seeing them. That was one of the best, like, R and B shows I've ever seen. Because of, like you said, they still moving and stuff like that. But I did go see Casey and Jojo one time, right? [00:16:50] Speaker A: I worked at the Staples center for. [00:16:51] Speaker B: A long time, bro. I went to go see Casey and Jojo. I went with Glasses. So I didn't go for the show. I just happened to be there, bro. Casey got drunk. I think we was at, like. I think we was at, like, the Normandy Casino or some bullshit. [00:17:09] Speaker A: Like, man, what? [00:17:10] Speaker B: Hey, hey, listen. [00:17:12] Speaker A: Casey on Redondo. On Normandy and Redondo with them train tracks. [00:17:16] Speaker B: Yeah. Casey got drunk and rode his security guard around the venue singing to the women. It's kind of like how you seen the baby get on what's his name? [00:17:29] Speaker A: Yeah, Kane. [00:17:29] Speaker B: Kane. It literally looked like that Casey got on his back and was riding that nigga around the crowd, singing to the ladies, giving him roses. Pause, that's what I saw. [00:17:42] Speaker A: Pause. [00:17:42] Speaker B: That's what I saw. He was, like, up on his shoulders like a kid. [00:17:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:17:48] Speaker B: Yeah. It's crazy. [00:17:50] Speaker A: That is some, like, unk shit, though. [00:17:52] Speaker B: I ain't never seen no shit like that. [00:17:53] Speaker A: That's some unk shit. [00:17:54] Speaker B: Like n you two. [00:17:56] Speaker A: Anyway, okay, so Halloween did just pass. Real quick. Scrolling through the timeline. Seen a news report about Mask. I don't know if I can call them intruders. Cause they didn't go into the house. But these niggas had mask on and was twisting old girl Doorknob and talking to her on a ring camera. What's your reaction? You open up your phone and you open your ring app on Halloween and you see these masked men at your door. [00:18:26] Speaker B: I've said this before on this radio station. I have devices around my house for occasions like this. And I am not afraid of calling the attorney and letting the attorney know, hey, bro, this is about to be some bullshit. So just be on standby because if these niggas touch my doorknob, it's gonna be an issue and it's gonna be a loud issue. You know what I mean? It's gonna be a lot of noise made. Cause I don't believe in. I'm not. I'm. To be honest, I'm 40 now. I'm not finna fight fair. I'm not fighting you. I'm not gonna fight fair. It's survival at this point, nigga, I'm gonna deal with them before I deal with you. [00:19:01] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, you. [00:19:03] Speaker B: So I just. What I didn't like about it was that this was a woman who's like at the house by herself type shit. I don't like that type. I don't play with that type of shit. Like. Cause I got a mom, I got a sister, I got people like yourself who like single women. Y' all live by yourself. Even when I go to your house, I be low key looking around and shit. Like I live there. Just like, let me make sure. This shit I be checking out. You don't even know. But in your hallway, in that long ass hallway by the elevator, I done check the fire exit, make sure it works. Yeah, like make sure she can get out this motherfucker. I'll just be overprotective type shit. [00:19:35] Speaker A: Hey, you remember that time? And this why I need to get a gun. This is why I need to get a gun. Cause when I had saw that, hey. [00:19:42] Speaker B: Giving them motherfuckers away. [00:19:43] Speaker A: Yeah, everybody else got one. Everybody else got one. Why don't I have one? [00:19:48] Speaker B: Everybody got one. [00:19:49] Speaker A: I need to get one. Cause when I seen it, I felt like day, day, daddy, if it was me, I would have shot his big ass. [00:19:54] Speaker B: You know what we should do? We should go to the range. We should do. [00:19:56] Speaker A: Yeah, let's do that. [00:19:57] Speaker B: We have a range day for the team and we need to film it. [00:20:00] Speaker A: Yeah. Cause I remember that time I got followed home. [00:20:04] Speaker B: What time? [00:20:04] Speaker A: In Lakewood. Oh yeah, when I got follow home. You knew about. [00:20:08] Speaker B: Did I tell you about that? [00:20:09] Speaker A: I think so. I think so. I got followed home. And then remember that time when I was in the car, I was leaving the studio, probably like 2am and the N came up. He came up to my door and he had a mask on. And remember, I had tweeted about it and you called me and you was like, you good, Ushay? And I was like, bro, this shit regular. Like, it's. It's sad that I'm, like, kind of numb and, like, desensitized and stuff. I've been in the hood my whole life. I've been robbed before. I've been shot at before. Like, I done gone through all these things. So that was, like. It shocked me. But I shouldn't be rolling around. Fishbowl. [00:20:40] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, we. You know what? I just thought about that too. I don't know why you be rolling it. We gotta get your windows tinted. [00:20:46] Speaker A: I have my windows, tenant. For sure. Yeah, Get a gun. [00:20:49] Speaker B: I'm gonna get your windows tinted for Christmas. [00:20:51] Speaker A: Let's get the gun for Christmas. [00:20:53] Speaker B: Okay, let's do the gun for Christmas. All right, I'm with that. I get you a piece. We gonna get you a little. 22. [00:20:59] Speaker A: Ooh, is it gonna fit in my purse? [00:21:01] Speaker B: It'll fit in your purse, but you can't. Listen, nigga, you can't do that. [00:21:04] Speaker A: You know what? I'm about to get on TikTok and say I'm a bitch with a gun. [00:21:07] Speaker B: Yeah, but you two. But you can't. [00:21:13] Speaker A: I got blower on me, bitch. The fuck, bitch. I got blower on me, bitch. You know I'm about to act a. [00:21:21] Speaker B: Fool, but you can't ride around with it in your purse. You can't do that. That's a crime. You're gonna go to jail. [00:21:30] Speaker A: Oh, shit. Wait, hold on. [00:21:32] Speaker B: It gotta be in your house, locked up. [00:21:35] Speaker A: Nigga. I'm trying to have it right here on my waist bed. Like, I'm trying to be like, what? [00:21:40] Speaker B: You can't sit down, catch it, bro, you gonna go to jail. All right, so what we gonna do? We gonna get you a course. [00:21:49] Speaker A: Bang Chitty Bang Bang. [00:21:50] Speaker B: Nah, we gonna get you a course. [00:21:51] Speaker A: Who said that? Chitty Chitty Bang Bang nigga. [00:21:54] Speaker B: Mike Lowry. [00:21:56] Speaker A: He's like, nigga, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. [00:21:58] Speaker B: N. I'm here to pick up what he say. When they was drunk. When they was drunk at the door, nigga. He's like, you wanna fight, nigga? [00:22:07] Speaker A: Okay, so I gotta keep it at home. [00:22:09] Speaker B: You have to keep it at home. You have to keep it locked up. And you have to keep the magazine, which is the. The cart, the the, the clip, you have to keep that separate from the gun. [00:22:18] Speaker A: So how I'm gonna get cracking you. [00:22:20] Speaker B: Legally, you gotta keep it separate. [00:22:23] Speaker A: Oh, you saying this for the camera. [00:22:25] Speaker B: You gotta. [00:22:26] Speaker A: Legally, I'm picking up what you. [00:22:29] Speaker B: And you gotta keep it locked. You gotta keep the, there's a, there's safety. You gotta keep a safety lock on it with a key that's separate from the piece. From the piece. Okay. You know what I'm saying? [00:22:39] Speaker A: I'm picking up what you putting down. And I'm gonna, you know, I follow rules. [00:22:42] Speaker B: There you go. [00:22:42] Speaker A: I'm gonna follow rules. [00:22:43] Speaker B: So once we do, once we go through the. You will take the course. This is what's crazy about it. And you are a great student. It don't matter. They give guns away. Because when I went to go get my shit, I went to go get my license. I carry my shit in my pocket. My license. [00:23:00] Speaker A: Nigga, the police is not watching you. [00:23:02] Speaker B: Shit. [00:23:03] Speaker A: Hey, they go back and pull up. [00:23:04] Speaker B: Them niggas be watching everything. [00:23:06] Speaker A: Pull up some old clips. [00:23:07] Speaker B: So when you go take the test, it's a multiple choice test, like a Scantron. And they don't watch you while you take the test. [00:23:15] Speaker A: So I could cheat? [00:23:16] Speaker B: You can use your memory or other things to come up to figure out the answers for the test. It's an open book test. [00:23:22] Speaker A: Can I use your old test? [00:23:24] Speaker B: No. [00:23:25] Speaker A: That's how I passed my permit. [00:23:26] Speaker B: Let me tell you how ghetto it was. I don't know if they. I don't wanna get nobody in trouble, but I don't know if they could look up where my license is. Cause everybody know my government name. But when I went to go take my gun test, they gave me the sheet. It's multiple choice, bubbles. And you take the test. And if you look right here, the key that they graded, it's taped to the back of the counter right there. [00:23:46] Speaker A: So you could take me through there. Take me through there. I wanna go over there. [00:23:52] Speaker B: Cause I used to be like, you know, you hear? Before I became a legal firearm owner, I used to be like, why everybody's tripping about gun control now? I get it, nigga. You could just go in there and be like, it. A, C, D, B, like, is it. And they give you a gun. [00:24:09] Speaker A: Is there a, a study guide or they. Is it a character test or. [00:24:14] Speaker B: It's common sense character test. [00:24:16] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [00:24:17] Speaker B: If. Can you keep your gun and your bullets together? Can. Like, is it okay to, to shoot somebody because they made you mad? Like, you know what I'm saying? If you go in there your own and you like, yeah, that's. [00:24:29] Speaker A: So don't go in there and do what I did on tmz. [00:24:31] Speaker B: Correct. [00:24:34] Speaker A: Hey, okay, so Red Bull, Cypher, Spiral, Cypher drop. Shout out to Mozzy. Shout out to yg, Shout out to J Rock. It was real, real bloody. [00:24:43] Speaker B: Hey, man, listen. That cypher specifically made me so proud because each individual, like, they all got they shit off, but they all was saying the same thing. Yeah, it was like, basically, you got me up. [00:24:57] Speaker A: Quit playing with me. [00:24:57] Speaker B: Quit playing with me. Mozzie said some shit. Everybody's hung up on YG, with YG said his little bars. Everybody hung up on JRock's eyes and how he looked like I. When I. This was crazy. Let me go back to Mozzie. But when I. When that dropped, I called JRock, because I was there. But I called JRock after watching it and watching the edit. I'm tell. I was telling J. I said, bro, that's like 2007 Bonnie Hunter watch J Rock. [00:25:21] Speaker A: No, when we. When we was back there watching the playback, I literally. I said I had told Rod, like, something about his eyes is giving me dmx. Yeah, like, it was something about that eye contact. He. I felt like he was looking at me. Yeah, I watched it on. Oh, I got new TV. I watched it on the big TV. Oh, yeah, I watched it on the 65 inch. Somebody else bought it. But anyway, I watched it on there. [00:25:46] Speaker B: So. [00:25:47] Speaker A: So, okay, they said, hold on. [00:25:50] Speaker B: Fuck it. Mind my business. I'm looking for some. Hold on, hold on real quick. Now. I'm looking for some more of my business. [00:25:59] Speaker A: I can't wait to use that. I need that for a clip. Did you get his whole. [00:26:02] Speaker B: Okay. [00:26:05] Speaker A: That'S going to the DJ head memes folder. But, yeah, no, the eye contact, like, it was. You know how they say that, like, good performers control the crowd with like, you know, stage performance and things like that. [00:26:17] Speaker B: They presence. [00:26:18] Speaker A: He grabbed my attention just by the eye contact. Like, he. I felt every word he said. I know he meant everything he said. That's a good Red Bull has not missed. [00:26:30] Speaker B: Yeah, I like the locks one, too. They did the locks one. Like, I think that one was super dope. But this one to me, obviously we're a little biased, but this one to me was just dope because this. I'm gonna keep it a buck. And I talked to J Rock about this. People don't think that they could rap. Like, people like Mozzie, people like yg, people like J Rock. They have fans and Fan bases, they do sold out shows, all of that. But there's this thing that people feel like they can't really rap. I don't know where that come from. YG got his grown man peeing out for this. [00:27:00] Speaker A: That's what I saw. The fan responses me and YG was talking about, you know, the. Some other shit. But I'm like sending him the stuff. Like, no, look, like the responses were so good. Like people like this, 2016, yg like you said grown man. Grown man pin. People like, YG brought his good. YG been rapping like this. [00:27:21] Speaker B: Been rapping. [00:27:22] Speaker A: Yeah, YG if you know, you know, like, YG been rapping like this. But they got some bars off. [00:27:29] Speaker B: Okay. [00:27:30] Speaker A: Got some bars off. [00:27:31] Speaker B: Okay. [00:27:31] Speaker A: And very, very interesting seeing what the Internet did and didn't pick up. [00:27:40] Speaker B: Okay, so before you go to that, I wanna go to the mozzie bar that Mozzy got off. Cause he was talking. I don't know what he was making reference to, but he said some niggas that some N told on, some niggas that was telling or some niggas snitched. [00:27:52] Speaker A: He said a snitch told on a snitch. [00:27:54] Speaker B: Yeah, I didn't know what he was talking about. Like, and then I saw like a couple of fan theories. I meant to call him and ask him about that. Cause I don't know, I didn't. I don't know what the alleged, like what the speculation was on that. But I'm like. Cause Mazi ain't. Mozzy did go to jail for a while, but I don't remember if I don't know if he was talking about his case or if he was talking about like something just going on on the timeline. I didn't really put that together, but that was the one that stood out to me. [00:28:16] Speaker A: I even found it interesting. And I'm not gonna say no names, but that YG address being accused of something that he didn't do. [00:28:23] Speaker B: That's the first time he ever got out that path. [00:28:24] Speaker A: He has never said anything about it. Like, I've never even talked to him about it. Like, he's never said nothing about it, you know, like publicly or whatever. So I found that that was interest. Cause everybody was picking up the digging and the offset thing and stuff like that. That was just word play. Like, I don't think that he for real was. The YG I know is not name dropping niggas and shooting, you know, shots and stuff like that. Like, that's just wordplay. [00:28:45] Speaker B: But him getting that off Was big. Like him saying. Like him saying what he said without saying was like. Like, basically N is accusing me of this. Like, I ain't do it. Like, leave me alone. And he. I think he said, I don't remember the exact. Bro, you probably know the bar. But I remember he said something about being found. Being. Being found innocent of something like that. And I was like, okay, that's dope that he's like addressing that and he's using this platform to do that. It's like, because we both have a relationship. I've never asked him about nothing of that shit and he's never talked about it. So I could tell, like, this is like something that he's been wanting to get off his chest. [00:29:25] Speaker A: We're so. And that's another thing that a lot of people don't know how close we are to the streets. Well, we actually grew up in the streets. We the homies from the hood that went corporate. [00:29:35] Speaker B: Right? Like, you know, we the corporate homies. [00:29:37] Speaker A: Yeah, we the corporate homies. I seen somebody put in my comments on TikTok. I can tell Gina was the Gina from the hood, but she, she. The. She the homegirl that all the hood niggas made go to school to make a better, you know, a better life for herself. And that's literally what it was like. But being that he says something or he like addressed it in the cypher verse, you know me get off Twitter and get in the booth. Like, I. I fuck with that. And I appreciate that. And I don't think that fans realize what their theories and things. Cause now we're in a new age of the Internet where the algorithm is so anybody could go viral for whether it's factual or non factual. You can go viral for your opinion and then people will start to believe it. [00:30:20] Speaker B: Believe it. Yeah. [00:30:21] Speaker A: If you remember, YG was supposed to be on Snowfall. Oh, and they denied the. They rejected him because they said that he was a liability for his lifestyle. [00:30:35] Speaker B: Right. [00:30:35] Speaker A: But Snowfall is about the lifestyle. The lifestyle. [00:30:39] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:30:39] Speaker A: So imagine what that is doing, you know, like mentally, like what that do to somebody. You can make it this far, you can be this successful, and then there's still gonna be somebody that we gonna make a story about the way you live, but you a liability if we. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's crazy as hell. [00:30:55] Speaker B: Glasses told me years ago, he told me this in like 2011. He said these people who are in these rooms that control the budgets and stuff, he said they. They wanna get as close to the animals as they can without getting in the cage with em. Mm. [00:31:08] Speaker A: Mm. [00:31:09] Speaker B: He told me that about the entertainment business like 15 years ago. [00:31:14] Speaker A: And this what stuff be crazy to me. Cause this is Stanley, right? [00:31:19] Speaker B: Why you got a mini cup? What the fuck is going on? [00:31:24] Speaker A: This the big homie. What the. And it's the tiny loke. [00:31:27] Speaker B: So you what? Okay. [00:31:29] Speaker A: I have my tea in here. [00:31:30] Speaker B: Okay. [00:31:31] Speaker A: I am. Probiotics, the health. You know, I got my little tea and my water. [00:31:34] Speaker B: Okay. [00:31:35] Speaker A: It's the tiny loke and the big homie. [00:31:37] Speaker B: Okay. So that's baby. That's tiny infant. Yeah. [00:31:43] Speaker A: Grammy nominations. [00:31:44] Speaker B: Oh, man. Let's clap it up for gx. [00:31:49] Speaker A: Let's clap it up for gnx. The best rap album to come out last year. [00:31:53] Speaker B: Okay, this year we gotta get into this shit because we have n. I. [00:31:58] Speaker A: Forgot GNX came out last year. Oh, it did come out last year. [00:32:01] Speaker B: Yeah, but it was in the Grammy cycle for this year. [00:32:05] Speaker A: Gen X didn't come out in January. No, Gen X came out. We about to come up on a year anniversary. [00:32:09] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:32:09] Speaker A: What? It's about to be a year anniversary, like next week. And see it be too much shit going on. It be too much shit going on November. [00:32:17] Speaker B: Yep, GNX is. But see, the Grammy cycle doesn't start at the top of the year. I think the last cutoff date is like the first week of September. [00:32:25] Speaker A: Right, right, right. See, I always get confused. [00:32:28] Speaker B: It's stupid the way that everything is set up because, like, you have to turn your shit in by a certain date to be considered for the following year. Grammy. But then the year happens, and then we celebrate New Year's and then that's when everybody knows to start counting because the new budgets open up everything. It's the new year. So it's just. It's weird. [00:32:45] Speaker A: But I hope GNX wins. Shout out to all the homies. I need Chike to get that Grammy. Doty six Hita J three Walida Sensei, Roddy Roddy. Like, I, I, I. We need that. And that's just going to be the perfect way to put the bow on it for the West Coast Super Bowl. The shows, the commercials, the. The Grammys. [00:33:07] Speaker B: Now, like, we need that album of the year. Technically. I'mma just tell you who he's up against and then we could. The rap shit is separate. [00:33:15] Speaker A: Okay? [00:33:16] Speaker B: So album of the year, which is considered the most prestigious Grammy because it's the best overall album across genres. So Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter clips, Lady Gaga, Leon Thomas, which is super dope for Leon because he's a newcomer and for Mutt to be nominated for album of the year is crazy. And then Tyler the creator, Chromacopia. So for us that matters. Clips, gnx, Tyler the creator, and then probably Leon Thomas. Obviously we want GNX to win, but let's say GNX don't win. Who would you have? Clips, Tyler. Okay, Clips. [00:33:52] Speaker A: No question. [00:33:53] Speaker B: Okay, so that brings me to where is it at? Rap album here. Best rap album clips. Glorilla, Jid, gnx, Tyler the creator, Chromo Copia. I think what's gonna happen is GNX will win best album of the year and Clips are gonna get best rap album of the year for Let gossordermouth. [00:34:15] Speaker A: And I'm not mad at that. [00:34:15] Speaker B: I'm not mad at that. [00:34:16] Speaker A: I'm not mad at that. Because clips deserve it too. Yeah, Clips brought back in. I could be wrong, but from my lenses, clips brought back a real rollout fashion. [00:34:29] Speaker B: Yeah, I can see that. [00:34:30] Speaker A: A lot of N was not people was not even caring or investing into their rollouts. [00:34:34] Speaker B: That's true. Now what also matters to us is song of the Year because Dochi is up for a Grammy for song of the year against some shit. Dochi got a head up fade with Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Rozay. Who else is on here? Bad Bunny, the K pop niggas. Damn, bro. Dochi got a fade and she running a fade against Dot and SZA with Luther for this is for song of the Year. Now Song of the year is considered the most prestigious Grammy because it's the best song with all the writers and the composers and the producers and everything that's attached to that. And then Billie Eilish that Wiley didn't miss either when it come to that Grammy shit. So I don't know. People want Dochi to win, but they think Luther's gonna win for best song of the year. What do you think? [00:35:29] Speaker A: This one, I can't call it. Cause there's so many white people over there. [00:35:33] Speaker B: There's some shit over there. [00:35:35] Speaker A: There's some white people over there. But I'm proud that home team is nominated. [00:35:41] Speaker B: Facts. [00:35:41] Speaker A: So it's whether. Whether they, you know, whether they win or. Or lose, like they were still nominated. You were still brought up in conversation because, I mean, we, we had that whole conversation about Tommy Richmond. Yeah, you know, we thought. Well, I thought, I thought White privilege was gonna win. It's not even in there. But no, I am extremely happy. GNX is my favorite rap album, so. [00:36:09] Speaker B: No, go ahead. [00:36:10] Speaker A: I was just gonna say it's my favorite rap album. So I. I would love for it to. To. I would love for Kendrick to bring that win home. But at the same time, this is where I apply my west coast bias that everybody wanted me to have all battle. Yeah, this is my West Coast. [00:36:26] Speaker B: Yeah, that was kicking in. [00:36:27] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:36:27] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? [00:36:28] Speaker A: This is the west coast bias y' all been begging me to have. [00:36:30] Speaker B: All right, so peep game Dodd is nominated for. Let me see. Nominated for. Dodd is nominated for nine Grammys right now. Right now. [00:36:46] Speaker A: Damn. [00:36:47] Speaker B: Okay, so here's the thing. This brings his total career Grammy nominations to 66 nominations. He's won 22 Grammys. Number one rapper with the most Grammys ever in the history of Grammys is jay Z with 25. Number two, most most winning rapper with Grammys. Number two is Kanye west with 24. Doc got 22 Grammys. He's in third place for the most Grammys for a rapper ever. If he win. If he win out of those nine, if he win three, he'll. He'll be the most winning rapper of Grammys ever. [00:37:26] Speaker A: What? [00:37:27] Speaker B: Ever. Over Jay Z and Ye. [00:37:28] Speaker A: I ain't gonna hold you all that. I just said. Scratch that. I need that to take all of them home. [00:37:34] Speaker B: All of them. [00:37:35] Speaker A: Take all of them home. [00:37:37] Speaker B: Nine. Because if he now that puts him at, what, 30. What's. I'm. Yeah, 31. He'll have 31 Grammys, which is more six more than Jay Z. [00:37:47] Speaker A: Then it ain't no telling what he gonna do next year. [00:37:51] Speaker B: And he not done. Yeah, he not done so. [00:37:54] Speaker A: Because we still waiting for the real album. No disrespect to G. And next. Like I said, that's my favorite rap album, but we still waiting on the real album. [00:38:00] Speaker B: That's the real album. [00:38:01] Speaker A: That was a miscellaneous one. That was just some. He threw out there. He. That made that album in a day. [00:38:06] Speaker B: That's the real album. I don't. Fuck what you talking about. [00:38:08] Speaker A: You don't think another one coming? [00:38:09] Speaker B: Oh, he gonna make another album. [00:38:10] Speaker A: That's what I'm saying. [00:38:11] Speaker B: But that's the real album. [00:38:12] Speaker A: I. I low key not to say these is, like, throwaway songs or anything like that, but I feel like GNX is his no ceiling. [00:38:19] Speaker B: Hell, no. GNX would be his, like, blueprint. [00:38:24] Speaker A: Because we love it. [00:38:26] Speaker B: Oh, you saying everybody. No n. Everybody else love it. Nigga the nigga did. Did you just see the thing? Okay. Not everybody else. Yeah, the world fuck with the album. Them white people out there in Chile losing their mind. [00:38:41] Speaker A: But I'm saying, if you think about what GNX is not white people. [00:38:45] Speaker B: If you think Chileans. [00:38:47] Speaker A: If you think about what GNX is. One of the critiques that west coast people have had on Kendrick is that he doesn't tap into the west coast sound. So GNX is the album that he. I feel like he used to get his shit off okay. Versus the traditional Kendrick Lamar style of, you know, when he makes music. That's why. No disrespect. Cause like I said, it's my favorite album. But I just feel like this was just some shit, nigga. We woke up and it was there. We ain't. Did we get any music videos? [00:39:15] Speaker B: We got Luther. [00:39:17] Speaker A: We ain't get nothing else. You threw it out there. I don't think he here, y'. All. [00:39:24] Speaker B: I don't think he threw it out. I think it was. I think it was thought out and meticulous. Not now. He did it really fast. [00:39:29] Speaker A: That's what I'm saying. It wasn't one of those. I believe if none of the stuff that took place in 2024 happened, we wouldn't have got this album. [00:39:40] Speaker B: I agree with you, but also have a little bit more information. Okay, so I'll say this. When I talked to him about it, he did say that this is 100% intentional. Like this album. This is the album where he wants to make everybody respect us. [00:39:55] Speaker A: Exactly. [00:39:56] Speaker B: Yes. [00:39:56] Speaker A: That's the point I'm making. It was just for that, not for like, obviously it's a good album, but I just. It's up and coming artists on there or less established artists on there. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't think that this was the one that's going to be the staple or he's. This is the album that you make that's just a staple in your career. [00:40:15] Speaker B: Okay, Well, I think it. I think it's. [00:40:17] Speaker A: I think it is. I mean, obviously now it's Grammy nominated, so obviously. But that's why it's like, if it was made so quick, you know, normally people take n. Take two, three years on albums. [00:40:28] Speaker B: Facts. Yeah. That's a fact. [00:40:30] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? [00:40:30] Speaker B: But this is one of them ones for me. This is by far my favorite. And to me, it is that I like it better than all his other albums. [00:40:37] Speaker A: This is. To me, this is Kendrick and I got toe up for it. [00:40:40] Speaker B: You did. [00:40:41] Speaker A: DMX is Kendrick's best album. [00:40:43] Speaker B: You got dragged for it. [00:40:45] Speaker A: The best one, my favorite one. And it's my favorite rap album over. You know, I've been saying no Silliness is a mixtape, but that's my favorite body of work. Got you Friday night. Freestyle's fabulous. That's my other favorite body of work. Boogie. Everything's for sale. That's my other. That's my other favorite on some rap. [00:41:02] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:41:03] Speaker A: Gnx, isn't I. I done moved everything down for gnx. [00:41:08] Speaker B: Well, speaking of dot, shout out to the ie where Hit boy is from. [00:41:14] Speaker A: What? Oh, and Take care, Take care. Take care is my other favorite. [00:41:18] Speaker B: There was a woman who. Who basically beat the shit out this dude or like beat the shit out of them, but she didn't. She didn't beat the shit out of him, but she fought off a guy who basically tried to get into her car. And it's interesting because she used that lyrics. [00:41:40] Speaker A: Let me guess what. Boom Bob bam bing Boom Bob bam. No. Oh. What she said. [00:41:48] Speaker B: I don't condone, but I do condone self defense. I don't condone. I don't condone, but I do condone self defense. Basically. Basically. Like, I'm not a violent person. But if you. If you want. If you need that. [00:42:04] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:42:05] Speaker B: Like it could be that Kendrick said that before. That's a lyric. [00:42:09] Speaker A: O. I'm thinking boo ba bam ba boo Bob. Didn't she say it in the clip? [00:42:14] Speaker B: Yeah, she did. She did. [00:42:17] Speaker A: So what is she saying? [00:42:19] Speaker B: Like, I'm trolling. Yeah, she did say that. [00:42:20] Speaker A: I'm fucking lost. [00:42:22] Speaker B: She did say that. What? What you said boom, boom, boom Bob Beam Bob. [00:42:25] Speaker A: Boom Bob. [00:42:25] Speaker B: Yeah, she did say that. I'm trolling like a motherfucker. Hey, she. But what's. What's crazy to me is it this comes a week after Gavin Newsom was running it up on the timeline using Kendrick. Shit. Wait, so I'm like. Cause, you know, have you ever heard the. Have you ever heard that? Not rumor, but it's kind of like rap like lore that there's a Jay Z bar for every scenario. [00:42:51] Speaker A: Yes. [00:42:51] Speaker B: Now that's dot. Yeah, there's a. There's a. There's a dot bar and a dot song for every scenario that you be in your life at this point. [00:42:58] Speaker A: That's how I've always felt about Drake. Yeah, Drake got a lyric for every friend relationship work. Like Drake got a lyric for everything. I always felt like that I appreciate too, having friends or like, you know, just when you in conversation with somebody and you reference like how we just did the bad boys thing. Facts, you know what I'm saying? That's like when we was talking about them. Turn Offs and things like that. [00:43:27] Speaker B: Non physical ics. [00:43:27] Speaker A: The non physical icks. That's one of mine. If you can't pick up on movie references or rap references, that'll piss me off. [00:43:35] Speaker B: Okay, but what if you get it wrong? Are you still upset if he get. [00:43:40] Speaker A: It wrong or if I say it wrong? [00:43:41] Speaker B: If you say it wrong, that's on me. Okay. Okay. [00:43:43] Speaker A: That's on me. That's on me. If I say it wrong. [00:43:45] Speaker B: Okay. [00:43:45] Speaker A: Cause if you don't pick it up, then it's like that mean I didn't. I didn't really deliver it. [00:43:51] Speaker B: I want to shout out to Eclipse because when they were up here, well, first of all, Malice was up here smiling and having a great time, which is dope. We went viral because of that. But I like the fact that Pusha T owned that. He wanted that Grammy nomination. [00:44:07] Speaker A: Yes. [00:44:08] Speaker B: Like, a lot of artists play it cool. I talked to Killer Mike too, when I went to Atlanta, and I told him the same thing. Like, he got up there, acted a fool. I ain't gonna lie. When he won that Grammy for Michael. But I like the fact that it's like, no, nigga, I'm excited about this. Like, I really want this to. I don't. I'm not playing it cool. I'm not finna act nonchalant, nigga. I want that Grammy nomination. [00:44:28] Speaker A: Is that the one where he looked dead in the camera? [00:44:30] Speaker B: Yep. [00:44:30] Speaker A: And said, I want that? [00:44:31] Speaker B: Yep. Yeah, we gotta pull that clip. [00:44:33] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm writing it in my note right now. [00:44:35] Speaker B: Yeah, we gotta pull that clip. Push was right here and he was like, yeah, I definitely want that. Like, we need that. And they did. [00:44:42] Speaker A: I'mma post it when they win because. [00:44:43] Speaker B: They nominated, I think three. They nominated for three Grammys. I think off let God sort them out, which is super dope for them because you gotta think. We haven't had a Clips album in a decade. To come back and just get and be Grammy nominated is insane. Especially for album of the year. [00:44:58] Speaker A: I mean, especially when they telling us hip hop is dead. [00:45:01] Speaker B: Right. But they just dropped the FICO video. Did you see it? [00:45:05] Speaker A: Yes, I did. [00:45:06] Speaker B: I know. Did you watch them on the big screen like you. [00:45:08] Speaker A: No, I watched it on my phone. [00:45:09] Speaker B: Okay. [00:45:09] Speaker A: I watched it on my. That was one of them that I had. I'm thirsty like that. [00:45:12] Speaker B: I gotta see that. [00:45:13] Speaker A: I can even see it right now. I mean, I done watch that cypher about four times. But yeah, I'm just happy that we getting music videos from them. They've been performing everywhere. [00:45:25] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:45:25] Speaker A: Their Eclipse is doing it up. They are definitely deserving of what Wale say. You deserve everything you do. [00:45:33] Speaker B: Facts. [00:45:35] Speaker A: So Blueface is free. [00:45:36] Speaker B: Blueface is out. Shout out to Blueface for calling in the show while he was still in. [00:45:41] Speaker A: The jail early on. [00:45:42] Speaker B: As soon as. Yeah, it was like super early. [00:45:44] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Shout out to Blue. That went viral too. [00:45:46] Speaker B: Yeah, that was. [00:45:47] Speaker A: Was that. I think that might have been one of our first viral moments on the show. [00:45:52] Speaker B: Huh? [00:45:52] Speaker A: It was, right? I think so. Yeah. And then Boondocks. [00:45:55] Speaker B: You know what I just thought about when he called the show, you brought up the fights. I think you brought up Nick Young. [00:46:03] Speaker A: Yes. And then he called. Do you know, people thought we planned that. [00:46:06] Speaker B: What you mean? [00:46:07] Speaker A: Remember he called while we was talking about him? Yeah, people thought we planned that. [00:46:11] Speaker B: No, we didn't plan that. [00:46:12] Speaker A: We did not plan that. He was in jail. [00:46:15] Speaker B: He was in jail. [00:46:15] Speaker A: How would we plan that? [00:46:17] Speaker B: Right. [00:46:17] Speaker A: And he just know what time to call. Exactly why we like that is crazy. And then another thing that people don't know. Cause it's cut at the end of it. PB must have cut it out for whatever reason. But he says, okay, I'm gonna call you back later. [00:46:29] Speaker B: Right. [00:46:30] Speaker A: He called me for some other shit. [00:46:31] Speaker B: Right. [00:46:31] Speaker A: You know, but no. So Blueface, he came home. Well, since you've been gone, catch you up real quick. I mean, I'm sure you on the timeline, whatever, but we haven't talked about it. Blueface came home, he got straight in the booth with ddg. They streamed. He hung out with his kids. Obviously, it's Blueface. So the circus is fully open for business. Circus is back open for business. [00:46:55] Speaker B: Circus is in town. [00:46:56] Speaker A: He was in a relationship. He was out of a relations. He in a new relationship. He's dating or, you know, whatever the case, he's looking for dogs. [00:47:04] Speaker B: Why? What you mean? [00:47:05] Speaker A: I don't know. He keep asking for a golden retriever. [00:47:08] Speaker B: To do what? [00:47:09] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:47:09] Speaker B: To retrieve. [00:47:10] Speaker A: I think that he's referring to women. Yeah. I think that's like a butt. It's like a loyalty thing, I think. Oh, oh, they the most loyal dog? I think so. [00:47:19] Speaker B: Oh, Lord. [00:47:20] Speaker A: Are they? [00:47:20] Speaker B: I don't want nothing to do with it. Or like, they always come back dog. [00:47:23] Speaker A: I think it's something. I think that might be the reference. Yeah. I don't know, but people picking it up. Cause I've been seeing everybody on their notes, on the Instagram notes, saying they need to go to retriever. But yeah, he's home. I'm happy that he came home and got to work immediately. Immediately got to work. He also said he's not drinking anymore. [00:47:40] Speaker B: Really? That's cause that grown man programming he been doing up in there N he drinking that pruno and shit in that jail. He was working out. Yeah, that N came home looking like a buff stick figure when I see. Actually, I think he posted a compilation reel. He was documenting his workout process or something. Cause it was like a reel of like different days. And he was like, yeah, check me out. You see what I've got going on in this? Like, I'm like, okay, why are you recording yourself on the phone that you're not supposed to have? Nigga, that's contraband. [00:48:09] Speaker A: He is programming. [00:48:10] Speaker B: Yeah, but he. He came out in shape. [00:48:12] Speaker A: Yeah, he also. He was in a studio. Well, not only in a studio, they actually filmed a music video. Himzo, Osama, Spank Nitty Hit Boy. They filmed that and then was so funny to me. So it's a clip of him talking to ddg and they're talking about streaming and based on DDG surprised Blue with a computer so he can start streaming. [00:48:35] Speaker B: Okay. [00:48:35] Speaker A: And it's custom too. And Blueface said to DDG the same thing that you have been saying about streamers. So Blueface was like streaming right now was a trend. He said, I remember when everybody wanted to rap. I remember when everybody wants to be YouTubers now. Everybody want to stream. He said, bro, this is just the new thing right now. Eventually this trend is going to go away. He said, if you start doing, you eventually got to do. He said, you got to keep doing engaging shit like how you said you got. At some point you're going to have to do, you know, some goofy shit or whatever. So I thought that was an interesting take, especially seeing how successful streamers are right now. But it's absolutely true. Everybody wants to be influencers at a point during COVID Everybody wants to get on only fans. This is really true. I even think that everybody was hopping on to be wave at a point. [00:49:22] Speaker B: Yeah, but you've been. [00:49:23] Speaker A: Cause how the Detroit people, you know, has been taken over. [00:49:27] Speaker B: Yeah, I stand by what I said. I know that a couple of streamers didn't really like what I said, but you know, I just don't. I don't think it's sustainable to be live that much and not. Cause I actually saw. I actually just ran into India. India love and shout out to India. That's just. [00:49:44] Speaker A: She doing her thing too on stream. [00:49:45] Speaker B: She going crazy. But she wasn't streaming because I saw I just ran into her, like, at the Apple Store, and she wasn't. She was like, what's up, bro? What you. I'm like, she like, ask me what I got going on. Cause, you know, I'm really close with her family. And I was like, why are you not streaming? She's like, oh, man. I just. It'd be. It'd be a lot like it. She don't. She's like, people don't realize how taxing it is to stream all day and be entertained. She literally said, and be engaging and entertaining. Like, because they not just watching you live your life like a reality show. You have to engage. And she like, that's really exhausting. And I was like, yeah, n. Like, I know. That's why I don't really fuck around. [00:50:22] Speaker A: Like, it's like how you said earlier, doing the show when you don't have nobody to talk to, you can't get me on streaming. You know, I crash out on the chair, y' all be blowing my phone. Get off the Internet right now. Get off. Get off right there, Gina. Get off the Internet. They told me yesterday, you drunk. Get out of spaces now, nigga. [00:50:42] Speaker B: You'll spend two hours trying to figure out who Chatbot 1919 is. Yeah, because they done said some wild. [00:50:48] Speaker A: The. The Instagram Live is enough. [00:50:49] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? I'm like, g, what you up to now? I'm tracking down Chatbot 19. This thing got me up. [00:50:54] Speaker A: You know, I'm gonna get down to the bottom, too. [00:50:57] Speaker B: I put chatbot 19 in the group chat with so and so. [00:51:02] Speaker A: Also, which has came up in conversation. So Blueface was on stream with. It's his name. Neon. [00:51:09] Speaker B: Yeah, Neon. [00:51:10] Speaker A: Neon. [00:51:11] Speaker B: Yeah. I think that's his name for sure. [00:51:12] Speaker A: He called 6ix9ine. [00:51:14] Speaker B: Who? Who? [00:51:14] Speaker A: Blueface called 6ix9ineon, called 6ix9ine and gave Blueface the phone. And Blueface, like, what's up? We getting on the. You trying to box. Like, you know, we getting in the ring. Like, you know what's going on. So 6ix9ine was like. I want to say he didn't say this verbatim, but something along the lines of, like, in a couple months. Like, you know, we'll get together in a couple months. But Baloo said that him and Nick Young are fighting. [00:51:39] Speaker B: Okay. [00:51:39] Speaker A: So it's actually happening. [00:51:41] Speaker B: Okay. So, look, Blueface and Nick Young don't squat. [00:51:45] Speaker A: Mm. [00:51:47] Speaker B: What the fuck do. So is that. That was already in place, though. That don't have nothing to do with the Six nine ine. Shit. [00:51:53] Speaker A: No, no, no, no, no. [00:51:53] Speaker B: Oh, okay, okay. [00:51:54] Speaker A: I'm just talking about potential opponents. [00:51:56] Speaker B: Potential opponents. [00:51:57] Speaker A: But this what I wanna know. Where the fuck is Soulja Boy? [00:52:01] Speaker B: Shit Low. [00:52:03] Speaker A: And also in Ellie Chop. Oh, right. [00:52:07] Speaker B: Yo, Nle the Great. [00:52:09] Speaker A: Nle the Great. Somebody said he a new nigga every time I open my phone. Facts. [00:52:16] Speaker B: Hey, wasn't he selling, like, flat tummy tea? [00:52:18] Speaker A: Yep. He was a herbalist. It was BBL pills. Yeah. And I had hope in him, too. [00:52:24] Speaker B: You bought some of that shit? [00:52:25] Speaker A: No, but I considered it. Like, you know us. We gonna wait till you get all the glitches out. So I was waiting until he got all the glitches out, but nothing ever came from it. He said he had natural BBL pills. [00:52:35] Speaker B: Nah, bro, we not doing that. I am. I do. I saw Gilbert Arenas is like. Now, you know, Gil is like ump to the basketball players. Like, Gilbert Arenas, he's like, you know, big bro Unc. Hey, Nick. I don't know if you've seen this nigga Blue face. Like, I don't know if you was in the group chat n. Blue is like a different nigga. [00:52:56] Speaker A: This a whole different nigga. [00:52:58] Speaker B: He looked. I ain't gonna lie. Like, I ain't seen Blue since he came home, but he looked taller. [00:53:02] Speaker A: I've been around Blueface for years. He looked totally different to me. Like, I damn near don't even recognize him. He looked totally different. But he seems more mature. [00:53:12] Speaker B: Yeah, he do. [00:53:13] Speaker A: I'm watching it's been a couple different videos where females around him is either, like, doing too much or, like, you know, getting out of body. And he's so calm. He's so. Like. It was a girl in his house. It was some girl in his house, and she was, like, crashing out. He said, y', all, I got on live so y' all can see this in case anything, you know, anything go down. But he just. He. I know that he's still playing with the whole circus thing, but I think he's way more. Not way more. He's more mature than he was before he went in. [00:53:42] Speaker B: I also think he over it, too. Cause I remember him saying. I don't remember if it was on the stream or where. Did he say that? I think he said. Maybe. He said. I think he was on one of them jail recordings where he was like, I regret doing it the way I did it. Like, if I should just. Oh, I think it was on the stream. He's like, I should have just stayed in the house that night. And I Think that he's had time away from his kids, his family. I'm pretty sure he done lost hella money, like, paying for lawyers and legal fees and not being able to go out on the road and tour, do shows or even his TV deal. The Zeus shit didn't Blue's house. [00:54:17] Speaker A: No, Blue's house was on Rap Queens West. [00:54:21] Speaker B: Rap Queens West. Like, it's a bunch of shit that he didn't get to do. Yeah. And from last time, we. Well, as. From as far as I know, that was supposed to come out while he was in jail. That didn't happen. [00:54:33] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:54:33] Speaker B: So it's like a bunch of stuff that I know that he wants to get done. I don't think he's fucking around no more. I'd be very surprised if he goes back to doing what he was doing before. [00:54:41] Speaker A: I don't think he is. [00:54:42] Speaker B: I don't think he is either. [00:54:43] Speaker A: I think he is. [00:54:43] Speaker B: Even with. Even the way that I saw him dealing with what you like with the girls and stuff, I don't see. It's way more toned down. Like, it ain't extra. It ain't. It ain't a bunch of gang banging. It's like, hey, relax. Everybody chill out. [00:54:55] Speaker A: Nigga, he going on dates, right? He ain't on no. Like, we just, you know, when he's going on dates, he's being now. And this is the person I know. Like the respectful person. The, you know, like, not all the stuff on the Internet or whatever, but. Nah, I think that this is like, we finna. This is a different season. This is a different season of Blueface. [00:55:16] Speaker B: I just think that if he didn't. If he didn't treat his face like a nascar, then I think he would be. I think he could get in power. I mean, not power universe. Like, he can be in, like, one of the 50 Cent Series. Yeah. Like, I think. I don't know if he want to remove him. I don't know if that's a violation or if I'm even out of pocket for saying that, but I think there's space for him in that world to do those TV shows. Like, 50 Cent just finished. Just finished closing a deal on one of his studios in Shreveport, the home. The homie told me, she's like, nigga. Cause she got family out. She's like, nigga, 50 down here buying up everything. [00:55:50] Speaker A: I like how you started whispering. [00:55:52] Speaker B: Cause I was supposed to say, I ain't supposed to know. Because her people from Shreveport, she's like, to get 50 cent on half of Downtown. [00:55:59] Speaker A: What? [00:56:00] Speaker B: I was like, what? She's like, no, because I asked. I was like, is he like fucking around with. All roads lead to Shreveport? She was like, nigga, no. Everybody like 50. Like in with the mayor, like 50, owned half of downtown. That's what she told me. So to the Blueface thing, I think without. I mean, you can only play certain amount of characters with all that shit on your face. [00:56:22] Speaker A: I think. I think there is a possibility that he's gonna either get them removed or he's considered it himself already. Yeah, I wanna ask him because there's a video of him holding his daughter and then she's kissing him. It's the cutest video. She like kissing him and stuff, hugging him or whatever. And the caption he wrote, he said, the only way I'm gonna get em removed is if my daughter want me to. So that's just. Even. She's a toddler. So that's just even letting me know that he has had some sort of consideration with getting them. But he said they look better in person. [00:56:55] Speaker B: Okay. I can't wait to see him, though. He look healthy, he look in shape. But I think that there's space for him in those worlds with those. It's so many series now that. I mean, 50's at the head of a lot of them. But then you got the re. The snowfall spin off. Like you have a bunch of these stories that are being told that I think there's room for him in that world. [00:57:16] Speaker A: Okay, so this was so freaking funny to me. This also happened while you was out of town. So Big Sean, okay, so backstory. Big Sean and Janay, the reports surfaced that they are. They call it quits or whatever, you know, they end their relationship. And then soon after, a clip surfaces of Big Sean and a female walking behind him or really close to him. And the report said that Big Sean was spotted with his new supermodel girlfriend. [00:57:47] Speaker B: Mm. [00:57:48] Speaker A: Big Sean said, man, that girl was with Hit Boy. [00:57:54] Speaker B: Nah, you can't say that. [00:57:56] Speaker A: He said that girl was with Hit Boy. But what's so funny about it? [00:58:00] Speaker B: You can't say that. [00:58:01] Speaker A: You can't say that. But Hit Boy, so with the bull. Cause now I'm just starting to see that Hit Boy with the bullshit. [00:58:08] Speaker B: Oh, no, he for real. [00:58:09] Speaker A: So, yeah, his dad is big hit Hit Boy play. So I'm sure Hit Boy was probably like, hey, bro, just put it on me. But when you look at the video, Hit Boy's against the wall. The girl is still right behind Big Sean. [00:58:20] Speaker B: Right? [00:58:21] Speaker A: Like you was Better off just saying, I don't know who that is. I don't know why she was behind me, but that nigga said, nah, she was with Hitboy at him. So I wanna know, has there ever been a moment or a time you can't do that? Oh, wait, before I. [00:58:40] Speaker B: Is that dirty macking? [00:58:41] Speaker A: Hell yeah. Not dirty macking, but that's for sure. Throwing your homie under the bus unless he tell you you can do that. [00:58:48] Speaker B: Okay, bet. [00:58:49] Speaker A: So I'm that friend, right? Just put it on me. [00:58:51] Speaker B: Put it on me. [00:58:51] Speaker A: I was with Gina. Da da da da. Mom wears it all the time. Well, I'm going with Gina somewhere. Da da da, bitch. [00:58:55] Speaker B: With a whole nigga. [00:58:56] Speaker A: You know, like, whatever. That's cool. I'm not tripping off of that. But I'm going to assume that he got permission to do this because he said, hitboy got you. [00:59:08] Speaker B: Yeah, that sound like it was. I'm find out what's crazy, though. [00:59:12] Speaker A: When you look at the video. Look at the video, you see the girl. [00:59:16] Speaker B: Oh, I saw the video. [00:59:17] Speaker A: It looked like when you just walk into something and you're the girl with the nigga and you like, oh, shit. Like, it's. You know, you gotta straighten up, fix your hair. You see cameras and all of that. Big Sean walked into some shit. Big Sean, like, wale right now. [00:59:30] Speaker B: In a blender. [00:59:31] Speaker A: In a blender with strimmers. Y' all gotta be aware, she's fixing her hair and everything. Man, that bitch was with you? [00:59:41] Speaker B: Ooh, she look where hit boy at. Yeah, Hit boy over there. So, okay, so look, so, so look. All right, so my question is, if you the girl and, like, you walk in. Okay, let's say allegedly, you walk in with Big Sean, you the girl. [01:00:01] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:00:01] Speaker B: You walk in with Big Sean. Then you see this, you go on your Twitter, you see she. Man, she was with a hit boy. [01:00:07] Speaker A: Nigga, if I'm her, I'm hitting. I'm dropping reverse uno card. I'm turning around and walking out. Oh, I'm out of there. I'm seeing Woo and I'm walking right out. Now, I am the homegirl, so I'm gonna always get that pass. Studio sessions, I'm in the background, whatever. [01:00:25] Speaker B: Like, you know, getting here for the music. [01:00:26] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm gonna always get that pass. But I have been in some before Rod, and walked in somewhere with a. And it's hella that like. And I gotta start being. I gotta. I gotta start dapping up. What up, bro? What up, bro? [01:00:41] Speaker B: What up? [01:00:41] Speaker A: Yeah, we working. [01:00:42] Speaker B: We Working. [01:00:43] Speaker A: What up, bro? What up, bro? Yeah. [01:00:44] Speaker B: We work, we work, we work, we work, we work, we work. [01:00:46] Speaker A: What up, bro? What's up? I don't. You. That whole soft. Cause I Obviously, you know me with niggas. Like, people think that I'm doing this rough motherfucker all the time. No. When I'm with a nigga, I'm so motherfucking soft. [01:00:59] Speaker B: You shot. [01:00:59] Speaker A: Oh, I could turn into a straight nigga quick when I'm trying to. Hey, what up, bro? What up? [01:01:04] Speaker B: When you trying to wiggle. [01:01:05] Speaker A: Yeah, she better than me. I would have got little. [01:01:09] Speaker B: Bruh. There was one time where. Okay, so this happened to you before. [01:01:14] Speaker A: Yes. [01:01:14] Speaker B: Where you was the girl. [01:01:16] Speaker A: Yeah, but it wasn't cameras and all that. But it was on something. Like, the fuck is Gina doing here? [01:01:20] Speaker B: Okay. [01:01:21] Speaker A: Bet it was like, something like that. [01:01:22] Speaker B: So that happened to me, and somebody took a picture. [01:01:27] Speaker A: Oh. [01:01:29] Speaker B: And I was in the picture, right? And I'm like. You know what I'm saying? That picture can't. We gotta. We gotta dead that one. Like, I ain't. I'm not even supposed to be here. [01:01:43] Speaker A: But that's the other part. When you dating somebody who's in our field, as the person that's not in the field, you have to know proper etiquette. They don't know you gotta get little when cameras come out, you know, you. [01:01:58] Speaker B: Gotta get the fuck out the way, man. [01:02:00] Speaker A: I remember, I was with. [01:02:01] Speaker B: Or act like you part of the team. Like, everybody. You want some food, Gina? I'm ordering Gina food. Like, you gotta do something. [01:02:08] Speaker A: You gotta. Yes, man. I was with this girl. [01:02:10] Speaker B: Or be the gay homie or. [01:02:13] Speaker A: Yes. [01:02:15] Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? Did you see that clip that went viral? [01:02:18] Speaker A: Yes. [01:02:18] Speaker B: That nigga walked outside, he was with this girl, and he turned into the gay homie. [01:02:22] Speaker A: Yes. Once he get banged on or something. [01:02:24] Speaker B: Yeah. He's like, uh. Shit was funny as hell. [01:02:29] Speaker A: I was with this dude one time. He is famous, and we walk in a party, and it's all about him. And he's so much bigger than me, so people can't even, like, really, you know, see me behind him or whatever. So he holding my hand. Nigga start taking pictures. I must have got turned into a wallflower. So quick. He's holding my hand, but gripping my hand. I had thought. I'm like, let me. But he trying. He gripping me, thinking something else, you know? I'm like, no, n. Let me go. His camera's out. Like, the fuck. I do not need to be on the shade room. [01:03:02] Speaker B: Okay. [01:03:03] Speaker A: The hell is that? See? Cause most females want to go viral and want to. [01:03:06] Speaker B: No, no, no, no. [01:03:08] Speaker A: I don't want no face, no case. [01:03:10] Speaker B: That's how me and you are similar. Cause we trying to be low. [01:03:13] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:03:13] Speaker B: Like, even the movies we be going to and shit, be nigga over there type shit. [01:03:19] Speaker A: My other nigga might see this. [01:03:20] Speaker B: Hold on, nigga. There was this one time, I ain't gonna lie. So I did. I got so irritated with a girl because she wanted to go outside a lot. She's like, you never wanna go nowhere. You never wanna do nothing. I'm like, I can't just move around. How you move around, fool? Like, it's a whole thing when I go. Where you wanna go? To the shit. [01:03:39] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:03:39] Speaker B: I can't. [01:03:40] Speaker A: I can't go to the shit. [01:03:41] Speaker B: We can't just pop. Like, that's a pop out. [01:03:43] Speaker A: That's a pop out for sure. [01:03:44] Speaker B: You know what I mean? So one day we go somewhere and against my will, and I just. Cause I got irritated. I was so mad. And I'm like, all right, you gonna see. I'm finna show you right now. So we. We go to the area, and I'm talking about we walking down the street. We not even in the. We not even in the little building. Good enough. Oh, D.J. here. What's up? Whatever. Now you the picture, girl. [01:04:07] Speaker A: Yes. [01:04:08] Speaker B: Hey. Hey, girl. Sis, you mind taking. So now you taking pictures? Now she mad. [01:04:13] Speaker A: You sister, huh? You sister? [01:04:15] Speaker B: No, I didn't sister. They sister. [01:04:16] Speaker A: Oh. [01:04:17] Speaker B: Cause they like. Cause they want the picture. Yeah, they passing me since you right here. Music and shit. Cause they not even. They don't give a fuck that, you know, she pretty or none of that shit. They just like, here, hold. Can you take a picture? And now she like, yeah, I didn't know it was gonna be. I said, I told you what this is. You wanna pop the fuck out. That's not what I. I'm low. I don't wanna go out. I don't wanna do. I was just talking to India about that, too. Like, she was like, you ain't going to. Well, there's a party that you probably know about. But I'm like, no, I ain't going. She's like, damn, you don't never go nowhere. I don't wanna go nowhere if I'm not working. Because what's gonna happen is people gonna want to go with me. And then I have to be strategic about who. Because now I need to know who gonna be there versus who I bring with me. And Now I gotta be strategic about if I bring this person with me, how they gonna act. [01:05:05] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:05:06] Speaker B: Or how is somebody gonna interact with me because this person's with me or because I done brought a girl and now you see somebody and then I gotta deal with well what's up with you and old girl? And it's like, nigga, I ain't got I'm not with all of that shit. Stay out the way. [01:05:20] Speaker A: So yeah, no, that's why I appreciate those people who they understand our program. Yes, I like that. And then another thing that people need to know from the outside looking in like how me and you was at that game A that think is something like that with us being at the game. You're never going to see me with the nigga I with Never. You're never going to see it. You never people oh, you post this person, you post I've had guys that I've dated be like, you keep posting this rapper, you up him. It's never going to be the nigga I'm posting. Bro, we're not even following each other. [01:05:51] Speaker B: I don't even that's what I'm about to say. We don't even follow each other. [01:05:54] Speaker A: I might got him blocked. [01:05:58] Speaker B: That's a new level of game I ain't thought of. Yeah, I might gotta block Blocking a that's cold word. Are you cold? [01:06:03] Speaker A: No, I'm saying like if we beefing or not. [01:06:05] Speaker B: Oh, okay, okay. I'm thinking about blocking a nigga you fuck with. [01:06:09] Speaker A: I mean I block everybody. [01:06:12] Speaker B: But I'm just saying that's good cause that's gonna be every allegation. [01:06:18] Speaker A: Okay, before we get up out of here we do got some more stuff but I think we can save these these kind of low key evergreen. We can save them till next week. Which one you want to do? [01:06:25] Speaker B: I want to talk about real quick. I want to shout out to our dude Mix by Ali. [01:06:28] Speaker A: Shout out to Ali. [01:06:29] Speaker B: Engineers just launched a direct to consumer program which is super dope because we all know independent artists. And he just launched this whole thing where you can get your songs mixed, mastered, you can book a studio session all on the platform. You ain't got to worry about people not paying you in time. Me and you done both been through that. But what's super crazy is they just added a feature to now you can put your songs out straight through one platform. So if you're an artist, you are. You got a song, you can get it mix mastered on the platform but you can also distribute your your will be On Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, all of the YouTube, everything. And it's all through one platform. And I just wanted to salute him because. Quick, funny, funny story. Almost. Almost 10 years ago, I remember going to his house in Gardena and I walk in the house. I meant to tell you that story. I walk in his house and he got whiteboards all over the place. And it's just post its and drawings and shit. I'm like, what is all of this shit? [01:07:23] Speaker A: You got like, his office. [01:07:25] Speaker B: Yeah, but it's in the living room. He's like, nigga, this is a website I'm trying to build. And I'm like, nigga, you from Gardena. Not like that. [01:07:31] Speaker A: But he did it. [01:07:32] Speaker B: He did it though. And. [01:07:33] Speaker A: And what year was this? [01:07:35] Speaker B: This had to be like 20. Shit, probably like 2013, 2014. [01:07:40] Speaker A: Are you serious? [01:07:41] Speaker B: Yeah. And he really did it, and I'm really proud of him for that. Because this platform, not only is it like they raise over $7 million in seed funding and stuff like that. Kendrick's an investor, like Musters. Like, it's a lot of people involved, but I'm just really proud of the homies when they do something that's incredible and it provides a service to the shit that we come up in where it don't be opportunity. Like how I see you do when we went to Nickerson Gardens and you made them girls day when they was chanting your name and shit. And I remember being a person, like without the resources to do dope stuff. And now we're the person creating the resources. And so I just wanted to give him props for that. So make sure you go to engineers.com and sign up. Also on my show, Honest Feedback, I'm gonna be giving away a bunch of subscriptions for engineers. And this also makes the platform different. If you notice, like, other platforms, they take a percentage of your money. And your music engineers, they don't take no money off your shit. You just pay your. You pay your monthly subscription. You keep all your royalties from all your music on every platform. So I just want to salute Ali for that, man. I think it's dope. [01:08:46] Speaker A: I might need to drop R and B bitch over there. [01:08:48] Speaker B: You can't. Yeah, we should definitely have Silas set something up. Cause they got. Yeah, it's for. [01:08:52] Speaker A: Let me go talk to Ali. [01:08:53] Speaker B: It's for real. So shout out to the homie, man. Go to engineers.com and check that out. Yeah, I think that's it for right now. [01:09:01] Speaker A: Yeah, we can move these to next week. Cause all of these are Funny. [01:09:04] Speaker B: All of it is funny also. [01:09:05] Speaker A: Cause that sock is crazy. Y' all seen that? [01:09:11] Speaker B: Yes. Also want to congratulate you because I think that, like, I peeped your show, and I was like, damn, Gina's really good at this radio shit. [01:09:24] Speaker A: Oh, you listen to my show and. [01:09:26] Speaker B: And full transparency. [01:09:27] Speaker A: Y' all be listening to it. [01:09:28] Speaker B: And full transparency. We had. We had. We. In radio, we call it an air check session. And basically our program directors listen to our show on the radio, and they give us critiques and stuff like that. And they was like, bro, you guys are really good at this radio shit. And I'm like, thank you. I appreciate that. Cause we work hard on this shit. Like, Gina B. Appeared late at night writing her scripts. Like, I think we put. People think that we just show up to the radio station and talk. [01:09:54] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:09:54] Speaker B: That's what they think this shit is. And it's like, no, this is not that. Nay works really hard behind the scenes to do the thing. She don't want to be on camera. Never. But. And our guy, Avery. [01:10:05] Speaker A: But she's PR and producer. [01:10:06] Speaker B: Facts. [01:10:08] Speaker A: I was. When we were at. I guess it's premature to even talk about it, but the thing we did. [01:10:14] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [01:10:15] Speaker A: And remember afterward? So remember when they first pitched it to us? [01:10:19] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:10:20] Speaker A: And they said that this was just a pilot, just to see how it. It goes or whatever. And then I remember after we finished, you was. You was like, oh, you know, what's up? What y' all thinking? They said, oh, we green lit the whole season. Whole 20, 26 or whatever. When I was sitting there, remember, I was such in pain, I wasn't feeling good and stuff like that. But I know in my head, I still had to. For whatever reason, I felt like I was proven a point. Like, I needed to. I needed to showcase my skills and really needed to prove a point and be who I am. You know, I'm. I'm everybody. Well, people don't know that I'm shy. Like, I'm shy. I'll be quiet when we be out and stuff like that. But I'm out of my body in here because it's. You know, it's with y'. All. But I was sitting there, I'm like, damn. Because remember, at first, I was like, I wasn't going up. [01:11:01] Speaker B: Like, you was timid. [01:11:02] Speaker A: Yeah. How I be? Whatever. So I was in my head and I was like, this is your 106 in part. Mm. Like, this is. This is that. This is every. Every Friday, when I used to get outta school, I would go with the microphone and act like I'm introducing Freestyle Friday. That's similar to, you know, don't wanna say too much, but I was sitting there, I'm like, this is that. [01:11:24] Speaker B: No, this is the moment. [01:11:25] Speaker A: This is that. This is. I have now granted, thankful for this situation. Cause I didn't know I was gonna do this good at radio. I. I'm shocked every day. Sometimes I be watching the show back. Like, I said that. Like, that I got that off. But, like, no, I was just sitting there. I'm like, damn, this is. We are now. You had said to me before that you was me 10 years ago. And I think when we first met, I didn't realize how similar we were because we both went to Cerritos for radio. And I didn't realize the path that we, you know, that we have. But it's like, no matter how long it took either of us to get here, we now, in that moment, like, we here. We living in a moment. Everything you pray for, everything you ask for. Now, obviously, we know shit don't look this how we want it to. [01:12:14] Speaker B: How you want it to. [01:12:14] Speaker A: You feel me. But, like, it's like when you put the layers back, it's like. It is some shit. We could change if we, you know, if we could. But the fact that it's like we here, I didn't realize how much we mattered. [01:12:25] Speaker B: Me either. Me either. [01:12:29] Speaker A: I didn't realize how much we matter. I didn't. [01:12:30] Speaker B: But it was like, I watch what we say. [01:12:32] Speaker A: Yes. [01:12:34] Speaker B: We gotta watch just the room we walk into. [01:12:37] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:12:37] Speaker B: Cause if you walk. Oh, Gina. Here. Are you gonna legitimize this? [01:12:41] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:12:42] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:12:42] Speaker A: Well, you gotta be careful on spaces. [01:12:44] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. God bless, everybody. [01:12:48] Speaker A: Gotta be careful with room. You walking in on spaces. But. Yeah. No, thank you for that. I appreciate that. Appreciate you appreciate everything. We cracking. [01:12:57] Speaker B: We cracking. [01:12:58] Speaker A: We cracking.
