[00:00:27] Speaker B: Shout out to Blueface, man.
[00:00:29] Speaker A: Yeah. Also, Gina Views sat down and dedicated her life to watching Carisha Plea's interview.
[00:00:35] Speaker B: Yes, I did. I did. I had to get the tea. You gotta get the scoop.
[00:00:39] Speaker A: So we're gonna be talking about that and much more. Tap in with us at effective immediately live. You can hit me direct.
[00:00:45] Speaker B: Hit me everywhere. Eenavews. Hip hop nation.

[00:00:59] Speaker B: Who writing that?
[00:01:00] Speaker A: Are you gonna write it?
[00:01:02] Speaker B: Shout out to AI chat. GPT. Here I come.
[00:01:05] Speaker A: Shout out to glow reala. That TGIf is coming right after this. I see dead people. It's hip hop nature. It's effective immediately on hip hop nation. I'm DJ Hebb.
[00:01:13] Speaker B: I'm Gina views.
[00:01:14] Speaker A: All right, you saying. Now, here's the thing about this lato album. I'm going to say this, and hip hop nation, do not judge me for this. I don't think this is necessarily a stereotypical hip hop album. I think this is a r and B hip hop album. It's a love album, in my humble opinion, because Lato is somebody who we always respect. We always think that she's a dope rapper, dope mc, all of that good stuff. But a lot of these songs, she's, like, talking about being in love, in a relationship, getting out of a relationship, a toxic relationship. I held you down. It's only like two. I think I counted two or three songs where she's not talking about a man or involving a man. What do you think?
[00:01:54] Speaker B: I think that Blixum is definitely a love song. You heard Blixum?
[00:01:59] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:01:59] Speaker B: She said that gun make me wet. Yeah, that's definitely love, right?
[00:02:04] Speaker A: Yeah, that's a different kind of love.
[00:02:05] Speaker B: But I feel like most rap albums, though, they do have those love songs or r and b songs on there, so I'm not mad at that, but I do appreciate a rapper talking about what they're actually going through. If you ask me, this is one of the best rap projects that we got from a female since invasion of privacy.
[00:02:22] Speaker A: I can see that, too. I do like how vulnerable she is. She really. And then also shout out to, was it me? Shout out to me at the end of the album where she really kind of peeled back them layers a lot and kind of gets real personal. But I did like, what's the name of the song where. What's the name of the song I'm thinking of with the Mike Jones?
[00:02:43] Speaker B: There she go.
[00:02:43] Speaker A: There she go. There she goes a banger that's a slap to me. That's the song that all the dj's, myself. We all gonna be playing stuff like that. And also the chicken grease.
[00:02:53] Speaker B: Chicken grease.
[00:02:53] Speaker A: Chicken grease is another one that we all gonna be playing. So I think she did a good job of giving everybody a little bit of something.
[00:02:59] Speaker B: Yeah, well, she's showing her versatility. She was even singing on there a little bit. So she's showing us that I can do all of these things, and this is why I'm up here. She's showing us that her pin is crazy. She's showing us that she's versatile. She got hits on here. Blixum. There she goes. Shrimp and grits. H and m squeeze. Sunday service, of course. Put it on the floor. Of course. She gave us a great project.
[00:03:19] Speaker A: I want the Gina views thought, because I got into it with Elliot Wilson and Jeremy Hecht on the bigger picture about Lotto's contributions, and they were basically. Well, I was saying that Lato is not to be confused in the class of glorilla and, like, the up and comers. Glorilla, sexy red, like the Flo millies of the world. Because, like, Lato has already established herself as a mainstream artist. She's already had a huge record with big energy, went top three in the country. It went number one across radio, across all formats. It's triple platinum at this point, so I don't think you can put her in those same categories. Also, the other take I had was she didn't get the Drake stimulus package. She just did a song with Drake. Sexy Red has been on tour with Drake and had multiple records with him. So to compare those women, I just see all of the online chatter they're comparing, like, the sales and stuff like that. I don't think it's fair to compare Lotto to the other women.
[00:04:09] Speaker B: Rappers. I think that latto has put in more footwork than her contemporaries, but she's still a part of that era with them. She just been in it. She was on DJ. I mean, not DJ Jermaine Dupri show from way, you know, back in the day. So she does have more. Just like Beyonce being a part of a girls group back in the day, you know, so they've done more, but they're still in that class.
[00:04:29] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:04:30] Speaker B: Because then where would we put her?
[00:04:32] Speaker A: I think she's in the middle.
[00:04:33] Speaker B: I can see that. Okay. I can see that. She's like, we're not going to put Nikki with Kim. We're not going to put Lotto with Nikki.
[00:04:39] Speaker A: I feel that you get.
[00:04:40] Speaker B: I'm saying. So she just. With the class, she.
[00:04:42] Speaker A: What about Meg?
[00:04:43] Speaker B: Meg is in this class. They're all current right now.
[00:04:46] Speaker A: Right?
[00:04:47] Speaker B: Like, they're all current.
[00:04:48] Speaker A: Same generation, same era. Yeah. Okay. That's fair. And then also, Lotto just announced her tour.
[00:04:53] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:04:54] Speaker A: Are you gonna go. You're trying to go see Lotto on tour?
[00:04:56] Speaker B: I'm trying to perform.
[00:04:57] Speaker A: What you gonna. What you perform?
[00:04:59] Speaker B: Put it on the flow.
[00:05:00] Speaker A: Oh, my God.
[00:05:01] Speaker B: Yeah, I want. That's my shit.
[00:05:02] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:05:03] Speaker B: Or Sunday service. All I wanna say is, bitch, I'm really hurt. Fuck wrong with n. That's all I wanna say. Lotto, just hand me the mic. Say that, and then I'll lead the stage.
[00:05:10] Speaker A: Gina views, ladies and gentlemen. Got some Eminem coming up for your listening pleasure. And some three, 10, baby. Right now.
[00:05:17] Speaker B: Rock yo hips.
[00:05:18] Speaker A: No, we're playing. No, this is the remix. The soak city with blue face, baby.
[00:05:22] Speaker B: Oh, shout out to blueface. But Rock yo hips is a banger. And he said, I take your shout out to blueface. Free blue. Free blue.
[00:05:29] Speaker A: Free blue. We gonna be talking about that right after this. It's affected. That was a hanuma kine. Don't know how to say that. That big dogs right here on effective immediately is hip hop nation. Do you know how to say the name of that song? Gina views.
[00:05:39] Speaker B: I don't know how to say a lot of words, as you know.
[00:05:41] Speaker A: Yes, I do know that.
[00:05:42] Speaker B: I don't know how to pronounce that at all. But what I do know is that it's a banger.
[00:05:46] Speaker A: Yeah. The video's fire. It's like a post apocalyptic, like they in a circle like basket. It's crazy.
[00:05:52] Speaker B: It's giving rolling loud type artists.
[00:05:55] Speaker A: It is.
[00:05:55] Speaker B: I can see that. I can see lights flickering. I can see mosh pits. I can see the crowd jumping. I can see me catching an anxiety attack, so I would not be in that crowd.
[00:06:03] Speaker A: Couple of seizures from the lights.
[00:06:04] Speaker B: Couple of seizures. You know, I would definitely watch that from the stream. But he got one.
[00:06:09] Speaker A: Watch it from the stream.
[00:06:10] Speaker B: Watch it from. I don't fuck around with big crowd.
[00:06:11] Speaker A: Yeah, I remember somebody saying something about those festivals and like, damn, you gotta go watch the show with a helmet on.
[00:06:17] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, my first rolling loud, I had an anxiety attack. For real, literally. Yes. It was just too many people, too much rubbing and things like that. But, you know, rolling loud just announced that their ten year anniversary and.
[00:06:30] Speaker A: 310, baby, shout out to 310, baby.
[00:06:32] Speaker B: Shout out to him.
[00:06:34] Speaker A: He's having an amazing career crazy run right now. And you know, he did the remix with Soak City. You were saying something about Blueface too.
[00:06:41] Speaker B: Yeah, Blueface is on that remix. And not to be biased, cause that's my boy. But Blueface has the best verse on that, I think.
[00:06:51] Speaker A: I think so. I think people rap bluefaces first the most.
[00:06:54] Speaker B: And that could be due to the order of the appearances, of course.
[00:06:57] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, I can see that. But when I play the record, people do rap blueface verse. But he also just got his sentence.
[00:07:03] Speaker B: Yeah, Blueface was just sentenced to four years in prison.
So I did go to the court date and he's already served eight months in jail. So the judge did grant him time served. Okay, she knocked off 400 and something, some odd number days off of the sentence.
[00:07:20] Speaker A: How does that work?
[00:07:21] Speaker B: So I am not knowledgeable on jail terminology, so I'll try my best to explain this, but one day in prison counts as three days in county. I believe that's how it goes.
[00:07:32] Speaker A: So time passed different in county and.
[00:07:34] Speaker B: Federal, like in space.
[00:07:36] Speaker A: I mean, state penitentiary. Penitentiary and county.
[00:07:38] Speaker B: Exactly.
[00:07:39] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:07:39] Speaker B: So with that being said, he should be home. Wack broke it down. If anybody, y'all follow wack 100, go look at his page, you can pull up on YouTube. But he said that basically, worst case scenario. Best case scenario, he'll be back by summer.
[00:07:55] Speaker A: This next summer.
[00:07:56] Speaker B: Oh, Blueface is calling right now.
[00:07:58] Speaker A: Next summer. Blueface is calling.
[00:07:59] Speaker B: Blue face is calling right now.

[00:08:38] Speaker B: Blue, you live right now. Hip hop nation effective immediately with me.
[00:08:42] Speaker A: And DJ hit blueface baby. Hey, what's up with it, bro?
Man, we was, we was literally just talking.
[00:08:52] Speaker B: We're literally talking about you right now.
[00:08:54] Speaker A: We were talking about you right now live on the radio, bro. And we was trying to. Gina was trying to explain the numbers because she was saying that one day equals three days or something. Can you. Do you know how that shit work?
[00:09:06] Speaker D: Oh, yeah.
[00:09:07] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:09:07] Speaker D: So I got sentenced to four years. I got a year credit. So that go down to three years. And I got 33% of that.
[00:09:16] Speaker B: So you'll be home by summer.
[00:09:22] Speaker D: March, April.
[00:09:23] Speaker B: Okay. Okay.
[00:09:24] Speaker A: March 8. So we're looking at a spring release of blue face.
Okay. But how are you, how, how are you, how are you holding? I know I only been able to like, talk to you one time since you've been in there. Like how, like, what's your mental like? You straight?
[00:09:40] Speaker D: Oh, yeah. I'm jealous, man. I.
I'm in my environment, you know, I'm always soaked up and adapt to it, so it ain't really nothing. It's really like a.
[00:09:50] Speaker C: This call is being recorded.
[00:09:52] Speaker D: It's like a little break from responsibility.
[00:09:54] Speaker B: Honestly, what changes have you made physically? You got buff in there with that hair looking like, what's going on?
[00:10:01] Speaker D: Yeah, I cut all my hair off. I'm about to get the waves cracking.
Yeah, I'm like 180 right now. Ain't never been 180 before.
So yeah, I'm getting sized up. I'm about to bounce out looking like a dalmatian on the side.
[00:10:17] Speaker A: Now. What, what have you been doing? Like pass your time? Like, have you been reading books? You've been writing rhymes? Like what? Have you been watching tv?
[00:10:27] Speaker D: Jacking off, watching tv, eating burritos and using the phone? That's pretty much it.
[00:10:37] Speaker A: What you watching in there? What's like the t, what's blueface watching while he in jail?
[00:10:42] Speaker D: Man, they only got like twelve channels. Watching a lot of the news, the Sherry show and the Jennifer Hudson show.
[00:10:52] Speaker A: Blue face. Watching Jennifer Hudson is crazy.
Are you, do you, do they give you, are you like, do you have access to music to listen to?
[00:11:07] Speaker D: I heard that Silk City remix come on one time made my little dance.
[00:11:11] Speaker B: Yeah, we were just saying how you got the best verse on that, on that remix.
[00:11:16] Speaker D: Oh, yeah, I appreciate it. You know, you know I'm always come spectacular.
[00:11:21] Speaker B: You got any, any music in the vote that might come out while you there? We know you dropped a project when you first went in. Is anything else dropping?
[00:11:30] Speaker D: Probably not. Honestly, I've been writing though, I've been, I've been putting on my writer cap, so. Got a couple songs for other people.
[00:11:38] Speaker B: Let it. Let us hear a verse. Just this rap for me real quick, you know? Come on.
[00:11:48] Speaker A: Who's this verse for? Who do you write this verse for?
[00:11:53] Speaker D: Oh, no, no, I ain't gonna give that away. I can't do all that.
[00:11:56] Speaker B: Okay, okay.
[00:12:00] Speaker D: Let me see.
[00:12:05] Speaker B: What's up with milk music.
Milf music?
[00:12:09] Speaker D: Oh, milk music. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's going on. It's a lot of that going on, you know, coming soon about the drop, drop, drop, drop, drop.
I was planning to wait till I get out, but, you know, I got a little extra time, so might as well let it all go.
[00:12:27] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:12:28] Speaker A: Hey, did, did, um. I know you had the reality show deal before you went in. What's the, what's the update on that rap queens west? Yes, sir.
[00:12:37] Speaker D: Oh, yeah, they still waiting on me. They, um, they being patient. Soon as I bounce out, we right to it.
That ain't done with. That's still going on top of, top of next year. So keep subscribing, keep auditioning, keep applying.
[00:12:53] Speaker A: Do you pay attention?
I haven't heard anybody say anything really, like, inflammatory or negative towards you. It's really, I mean, other than obviously, you know, like the baby mom situation and stuff like that. But I haven't really heard anybody, like, have anything to say about you, honestly.
[00:13:16] Speaker D: None of them rappers out there popping it like they waiting for me.
[00:13:19] Speaker B: I seen Soulja boy get a tweet off.
[00:13:33] Speaker A: Did you, did you. Is you, so you offered to take the fade? Was it like you was going to do it like on trailer? Like it was like a pay per view event?
[00:13:41] Speaker B: We need that.
[00:13:42] Speaker D: Boxing boy promised me a fade, so whatever's clever, the fastest way we can do it. I'm still on that.
[00:13:59] Speaker A: Side in a Le chopper.
What did NLE Chopper say? Did he agree to it?
[00:14:11] Speaker C: This call is being recorded.
[00:14:13] Speaker D: Understand? He called me out for it.
[00:14:15] Speaker A: No, I remember that, but I'm saying, did he, did y'all ever agree to a day or two? Like, did y'all ever agree that it was gonna happen?
[00:14:23] Speaker D: The last thing he said was, he don't want to fight me, but I'm not going for that. I still need it.
[00:14:32] Speaker B: You plan on getting it, but getting back in a ring, when you get.
[00:14:35] Speaker A: Out.
[00:14:38] Speaker B: Who you want to see? Cause you had a fight that got, that got canceled, right? You was supposed to fight Nick Young.
[00:14:45] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
Are you ready? Are you open to just. Are you taking all phase like, you open to anybody, basically. Like, because, you know, it's weight classes and shit in real fighting. I'm just asking if you. If none of that mattered to you.
[00:15:08] Speaker D: Oh, yeah. Now I'm 180 right now, so it's like I can either lose it or gain it. Whoever. Whoever wanted get it.
[00:15:15] Speaker A: Well, cuz, you seen, like, I seen, you know, Jake Paul is fighting Mike Tyson. So, like, is that something.
Is that something that you're open to doing as well.
[00:15:31] Speaker D: For the squad? I'm definitely on that.
[00:15:37] Speaker B: What's up with crazy in love season three? We getting that?
[00:15:44] Speaker D: I don't know.
[00:15:44] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:15:45] Speaker D: That's a tough one. You know, me and rock, we vibe it right now. But, you know, when that fitness get involved, you know, it might get a little weary.
[00:15:56] Speaker B: Have you talked to her since she's been gone?
[00:15:59] Speaker D: Have I talked to.
[00:16:00] Speaker B: Are y'all able to communicate because she's incarcerated as well?
[00:16:04] Speaker D: Oh, yeah, we stay on the three way.
Just got off the phone with her.
[00:16:11] Speaker A: What about.
What about me? What about the, like, the little one? Are you able to, like, you know, be in touch and, like, have, you know, have contact or, like, visitation, stuff like that?
[00:16:26] Speaker D: Yeah, because she's incarcerated. But hopefully when she gets out, she'll come bring him up here or whatnot.
[00:16:34] Speaker B: Okay, well, thank you for tapping in blue. We miss you. We fuck with you, we love you.
What you got for the people? Just give us. Give us a few words for the fans, man.
[00:16:46] Speaker D: I'm ready to bounce out looking like 101 dalmatian femme. I got my sight set on new plantation. All this shit, you know, bigger and better, faster, harder and stronger.
[00:17:02] Speaker A: We seen that.
[00:17:02] Speaker D: We know what I'm talking about.
[00:17:04] Speaker A: When. When you. We seen after your sentencing, the video, your pops, you know, went viral because he was emotional about it. How you talked to him?
[00:17:14] Speaker D: He was crying or something.
[00:17:15] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:17:17] Speaker D: Oh, man. Tell him, man. Stop all that crying. Pops is good. You raised a soldier.
[00:17:25] Speaker A: All right? We'll get word to him.
All right.
We appreciate you, bro, for show.
[00:17:36] Speaker B: Okay, well, hear me, like, in like, 2 hours.
[00:17:40] Speaker A: All right, well, that was an impromptu call from blue face baby.
[00:17:45] Speaker B: Blue face baby. That was crazy. Super crazy for us to be talking about. Cause I could have been on any break.
[00:17:50] Speaker A: The divine intervention right there. Yeah. But, yeah, hit us up at effective immediately, live, and hit our YouTube for the full conversation right now. It's effective immediately on hip hop nation. That was at Drake. It's up. Featuring young thug and 21 savage off that three pack of mid that he dropped.
[00:18:06] Speaker B: Gina views, goat three pack of mid is crazy.
[00:18:09] Speaker A: It was mid. You're mid, was it not?
[00:18:12] Speaker B: No.
[00:18:13] Speaker A: Okay, it's up is the best song out of that three pack.
[00:18:16] Speaker B: I don't like the way you be doing the person that you're named after.
[00:18:19] Speaker A: I'm not named after him. I'm named after a mandehead named Drake, who is not from Toronto. He's from Lynwood.
[00:18:26] Speaker B: Do you know him?
[00:18:26] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:27] Speaker B: You don't know your daddy.
[00:18:28] Speaker A: I do know him.
[00:18:29] Speaker B: You know your daddy.
[00:18:29] Speaker A: That's crazy.
[00:18:31] Speaker B: She didn't know your daddy.
[00:18:32] Speaker A: You thought I didn't know? Why?
[00:18:33] Speaker B: Cause you always be having them daddy jokes.
[00:18:35] Speaker A: No, I know him.
[00:18:36] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[00:18:37] Speaker A: He campaigning right now and stuff.
[00:18:38] Speaker B: He trying to come back.
[00:18:39] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:40] Speaker B: Well, let's get into some girl talk. Okay, so Carisha just did an episode of Carisha, please, where saucy Santana is actually interviewing her about her whole experience with, you know, all the diddy stuff going on, as well as her relationship with JT.
Fans were, needless to say, very disappointed. If you go through the comments, you'll see if you watch the.
[00:19:02] Speaker A: It was no tea.
[00:19:03] Speaker B: It was no tea at all.
[00:19:04] Speaker A: No warm water.
[00:19:05] Speaker B: No, it wasn't even iced tea. Like, it was the letter t. That's it.
However, this is one of those moments where I feel like you can't please everybody because the Internet bullied her to speak up. The Internet bullied her to respond. When she finally says something, it's like, oh, well, this isn't enough. But I think that people are failing to realize that her name is mentioned in court documents. There's only so much that she can say.
[00:19:27] Speaker A: I wouldn't say nothing if I was her. I wouldn't have did the carisha, please interview.
[00:19:30] Speaker B: The other thing is, you know, not to. I don't want to put nothing, you know, on a black man. This shit not funny to me. This is very, you know, a serious situation. But we don't know what type of pressure he's applying on her, either. So there's still, like, some level of, you know, respect or integrity that she has to hold when she's talking about these things publicly.
[00:19:47] Speaker A: And these people are not, like, just random people, either, JT. They came up. They, like. They damn their sisters.
[00:19:53] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:19:53] Speaker A: And then her. I'm pretty sure her and puff was in love, right? So, I mean, it ain't like these are just random ass homies, either.
[00:20:00] Speaker B: She's also on the network that he brought her on facts, so she also announced that she's dropping a new game. Second part two to the one that she already has, she brought. They also talked about her relationship with JT and the whole fallout. She said JT will forever be her sister, but they just grew apart.
[00:20:17] Speaker A: I could see that.
[00:20:18] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:20:18] Speaker A: Shout out to no more City girls albums.
[00:20:20] Speaker B: Unfortunately, no more city girl albums.
[00:20:22] Speaker A: But young Miami, aka Carisha, is a podcast host, a television host.
[00:20:28] Speaker B: She's killing it.
[00:20:29] Speaker A: You like it?
[00:20:29] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, she has some. I think that she's like the new era of the whole sit down type of conversations with these female rappers, influencers, and things like that. She had a dope interview with Ari Fletcher. Meg Thee stallion came on her show. So people are summer Walker. People are trusting her in that space.
[00:20:47] Speaker A: She's an influencer.
[00:20:48] Speaker B: She also said she called herself the Black Oprah.
[00:20:51] Speaker A: All right, we got some don tyliver coming up. Also some boss man d lo right after this. A boogie with a hoodie. It's effective immediately on hip hop nation. That was that boss man dlo lil baby PJ right here. It's effective immediately. I'm DJ hit.
[00:21:06] Speaker B: I'm Gina views, and I got some immediate bullshit for hip hop nation. Dj head, are you ready?
[00:21:11] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:11] Speaker B: So LeBron was spotted in Paris. A kid approached him and wanted to take a picture. And LeBron was like, watch out. I don't want to take a picture. Back up. But then he got to the door, the entrance, and he heard the music, and he hit his dougie.
[00:21:23] Speaker A: Mm hmm. But, okay, go ahead.
[00:21:26] Speaker B: It seemed like he didn't want to be bothered when the little kid walked up.
[00:21:30] Speaker A: Well, the thing is, you don't necessarily have to be bothered with a kid and still be feeling yourself enough to dance.
[00:21:36] Speaker B: You know what he said, though?
[00:21:37] Speaker A: What?
[00:21:38] Speaker B: Fuck them kids. Like, that's what that gave me. That was the fuck them kids, me.
[00:21:42] Speaker A: That's what that was.
[00:21:43] Speaker B: That's what that was. In other news and other immediate bullshit news, I just had Caitlin. For real? For real. As a guest on whole festions. Shout out to Kaylan Farrell. For real.
[00:21:50] Speaker A: Shout out to whole festions, y'all.
[00:21:51] Speaker B: Shout out to whole fetions. Make sure y'all go tap into that interview. It's out. Now, we were talking about being intimate and, you know, different kinks and things that men like, and he told me that he spits in girls mouths. Okay, now, me, I need a fade if a nigga spit in my mouth.
[00:22:09] Speaker A: You need a fade for a lot of things that happen to you intimately. Like, you wanted a fade for standing on me.
[00:22:15] Speaker B: I think that egg being cracked.
[00:22:18] Speaker A: Egg being cracked.
[00:22:18] Speaker B: I think that those are all justifiable fates.
[00:22:21] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:22:21] Speaker B: Have you ever spit in somebody mouth?
[00:22:23] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:22:23] Speaker B: Like, regularly? Like, that's your shit.
[00:22:26] Speaker A: I wouldn't say that.
[00:22:27] Speaker B: What does it do for you?
[00:22:28] Speaker A: She told me to do it.
[00:22:30] Speaker B: Oh, you had a freak ask for it?
[00:22:32] Speaker A: I wouldn't call her.
[00:22:33] Speaker B: Well, that's a dirty animal right there.
[00:22:35] Speaker A: She's a freaky bitch. I wouldn't call her that.
[00:22:38] Speaker B: What would you call her? What do you call her? What do you say? Do girls call you daddy?
[00:22:42] Speaker A: I mean, they may or may not have this nigga.
[00:22:48] Speaker B: Probably respond back with west coast.
Do you say shit like that? Do you say west coast when you get it cracking?
[00:23:00] Speaker A: All right, got some polo g coming up. Some lil Durk right after this Nicki Minaj Travis Scott remix. It's effective immediately on hip hop nation. That was at Polo G. Lil Durk, we asshoot. Speaking of Polo G, we gonna have polo g tapping into the show while I'm in the mix, so keep it locked for that.
[00:23:17] Speaker B: Shout out to polo g. And I got some hip hop histories. Okay, so Travis Scott's album, days before rodeo, dropped ten years ago. So today is the ten year anniversary of this project, man.
[00:23:28] Speaker A: Shout out to Travis Scott, too, here at Sirius XM hip hop nation. Travis Scott at Metlife Flyaway sweepstakes. We got that for you to enter the win for the rules and everything, go to siriusxm.com travisscott. Metlife. No spaces. Do that before September 8 for your chance to win. Of course. [00:24:08] Speaker B: It's called Metlife.
[00:24:10] Speaker A: Yeah. So if you want to get in on that and everything else, vip experience, you want a free. When a friend, it's not just you, it's not solo. [00:24:27] Speaker B: I'm Gina views.
[00:24:27] Speaker A: All right. It is effective immediately. That was at Drake housekeeping nose featuring Lotto, who just dropped her third studio.
[00:24:34] Speaker B: Album, shout out to big mamas.
[00:24:35] Speaker A: Making hella noise. Speaking of noise, okay, the Sofi stadium in the city of Inglewood, who just hosted the hard music fest, they let.
[00:24:42] Speaker B: Them white people scared the city of.
[00:24:46] Speaker A: Inglewood bans outdoor stages at Sofi. Now, this is gonna affect hip hop, because this is where rolling loud is every year. Every single year out here in LA. Rolling Loud is here. It's the biggest hip hop festival in the country. We all know this. But hard music festival is not hip hop. It's EDM festival. It's ooch. Uncha. Uncha. As Gina views, as Gina views would say. And they had the music so goddamn loud and the bass bumping so crazy. People were hearing this music miles away from the stadium.
[00:25:15] Speaker B: That's that gentrification.
That's why everybody's scared. Cause there's white people in Inglewood now. Gentrification?
[00:25:21] Speaker A: Is that what it is?
[00:25:22] Speaker B: Niggas ain't never ran concerts out of the Inglewood. We just got the Sofi.
[00:25:26] Speaker A: We just got it.
[00:25:27] Speaker B: We just got so far.
[00:25:28] Speaker A: We just got it. And we just had. We had doctor Dre and Snoop do the Super bowl, but, yeah, so, apparently they still do concerts at the Soul Fi stadium. It's not outside, just the outdoor stages. They said they are banned, which is extreme to me. It's like an overcorrection, like banning that. That's gonna affect everything. We are getting the Olympics here in four years. Shot to snoop. Snoop just went out there and was damn grand marshal of the whole thing. And him and Drake closed the ceremony by doing a performance saying that. And they had a big thing saying, l. A.
2028.
[00:26:03] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:26:04] Speaker A: And I think that's super dope. But the outdoor stages thing, they got to lift that band in the next.
[00:26:09] Speaker B: Four years, and they probably will. Four years is a long time from now, but they are. I did see the list of venues where the Olympics will hit. Sofi Stadium is one of those. Stubhub la live, chick Hearn. Chick hearn court.
[00:26:22] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:26:22] Speaker B: The Coliseum convention center and USC gallen Center.
[00:26:26] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, the Galen center. Look, here's what's dope about the Olympics. A lot of money comes into the city.
[00:26:32] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:26:33] Speaker A: Do we think that the niggas are gonna know how to act?
[00:26:36] Speaker B: Because no niggas gonna be getting robbed left and right.
[00:26:38] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Cause I can see, like, I can see somebody getting a call, like, hey, you know, when the truck pull up with the medals.
You know what I'm saying? Like, niggas gonna be trying to steal.
[00:26:49] Speaker B: Trophies and medals and shit.
Niggas don't know how to act, man.
[00:26:54] Speaker A: Hopefully not.
[00:26:54] Speaker B: Cause you gotta think about it. USC and coliseum. That's in the middle of the hood.
[00:26:58] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, yeah.
[00:26:59] Speaker B: You know.
[00:26:59] Speaker A: Hey, listen, white people, the USC galen center is definitely in an area where there are a lot of us. You know what I mean? And so is the coliseum. Okay, if. Yes, you weren't aware. And now the Sofi might be. Okay. Just so fi club, you know, they've been buying up a lot of that area around there.
[00:27:17] Speaker B: Who was they? Define they.
[00:27:19] Speaker A: No, I don't wanna do that.
[00:27:20] Speaker B: Are you referring to gentrification?
[00:27:22] Speaker A: I'm referring to, you know, a whole lot of different.
[00:27:24] Speaker B: I knew Inglewood was different. This coyotes out there now. White people be jogging.
[00:27:28] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:27:31] Speaker B: What do you think the streets of Los Angeles are gonna look like when Olympics get here, in terms of, like, freeways?
[00:27:35] Speaker A: I'm gonna be in the valley.
[00:27:36] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:27:37] Speaker A: I don't have nothing to do with that.
I know. Like, you and our producer Nae was talking about, like, yeah, we gonna. You know, it might be some athletes. We might kind of be.
[00:27:44] Speaker B: That nigga's gonna be at the highlight room in her BBK.
[00:27:48] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm gonna be in the valley. I don't want nothing to do with. The traffic is already stupid. I mean, stupid. And they got. And this is the other thing, too. If you were interested in coming to Los Angeles for the Olympics in four years, understand that traffic is a thing. They're finishing all of the railways and stuff like that, but that's not gonna be enough.
[00:28:04] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:28:04] Speaker A: So be prepared.
[00:28:05] Speaker B: Yeah. I'm praying, though, too. Like, all jokes aside, that security is high because at large events and things like that are where things happen.
[00:28:13] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. So anyway. Yeah, I know exactly what you talking about. Anyway, we got mustard. Young thug, little dirk. That ghetto was coming up. Also some Tommy Richmond right after this. T grizzly is hip hop nation effective immediately. Yo, it's effective immediately. I'm dj head.
[00:28:28] Speaker B: It's your favorite. Homegirls universe.
[00:28:29] Speaker A: That was that mustard, that ghetto off of that faith of a mustard seed album. A lot of dope music has come out. Speaking of which, Obama, Barack Obama, aka 44, dropped his summer playlist. Some stuff on here. Shabuzi obviously is on there. Tommy Richmond, million dollar baby. I'm speaking of stuff that's relevant to.
[00:28:45] Speaker B: Us, sweetie, on there.
[00:28:47] Speaker A: Saweetie is on there. I like the. My best song. I actually said that on the air. I like the my best song from Saweetie. And also, there was one more I saw on here.
Who was it? Common.
[00:28:57] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:28:58] Speaker A: Common. Shout out to common. The people was on there.
[00:29:00] Speaker B: You know, it stood out to me, though.
[00:29:01] Speaker A: What?
[00:29:02] Speaker B: The song of the summer is not on there. The song of the summer. I mean, I've already crowned it the song of the summer. I don't know how everybody else feel about it. Not like us. It's a song of the summer.
[00:29:09] Speaker A: Correct.
[00:29:10] Speaker B: Whether you are a fan or not. Correct. You can't go anywhere without hearing it. I listened to the radio and it came on seven times. Back to back to back to back. Got in the car, it was on. Got out, got back in the car, it was on. The song is playing everywhere.
[00:29:24] Speaker A: So what you saying about Obama?
[00:29:26] Speaker B: I think Obama might be trying to stay away from the beef.
[00:29:30] Speaker A: You saying Obama cap?
[00:29:31] Speaker B: You said Obama cap.
[00:29:32] Speaker A: I'm asking you.
[00:29:33] Speaker B: That's what you said.
[00:29:34] Speaker A: No, but I'm asking you.
[00:29:35] Speaker B: My president is a real nigga.
Why are you playing it safe? He playing it safe. You got beef with Obama?
[00:29:42] Speaker A: I don't got no beef with Obama. Obama is, to me, the.
He's the epitome of presidency.
[00:29:51] Speaker B: Do you think Obama is not walking around the house singing that, saying, whop, whop, wap, wap, wap, michelle, fuck him up.
[00:30:01] Speaker A: I don't think that that's what's happening. I don't necessarily know. And I don't even know if, you.
[00:30:06] Speaker B: Know, he playing not like us in that house.
[00:30:08] Speaker A: Hey, do you think Obama cursed?
[00:30:09] Speaker B: Hell, yeah.
[00:30:10] Speaker A: Like, a lot.
[00:30:11] Speaker B: I think he be like, damn, my nigga.
[00:30:17] Speaker A: Hey, did you just snort?
